Consistently poor service. Even with 2 wait staff and the Ziosk we had to ask repeatedly for what we wanted. Given the youthfulness of the staff, you’d think they would have better memories.

First of all at chilis in Morgan Hill there was a 30 minute wait but there was four or five tables available there was a gentleman with a computer walking around not seats not helping at all. Food was good the enchilada soup was delicious .but there was a couple that was seated before us and as we were walking out I seen that they weren’t even served shame on Chili’s and the general manager was cleaning the dirty bathroom.

I have been here before and have never been totally pleased but last night’s experience has put an end to my eating at Chili’s in Morgan Hill. The service was very slow. One entrée was entered wrong. It had to be taken as a «to-go» because it was so late coming out. One entrée, flat bread pizza, came out late and so over cooked and dry it was inedible. There was no attempt made to please the customer. No visit to the table by the manager with an apology for the poor service. We were told that we didn’t have to worry because they«comped» the meal that we returned and said we no longer wanted it. There are too many other viable options in Morgan Hill to accept this type of service.

Came here for a work lunch. Pro, the waitress very nice and attentive. Cons, the plates and silverware were filthy dirty. I can’t imagine how you serve food in a bowl that is caked with old food residue,(I attached a photo). Also, I ordered the chicken crispers. If you like your food SWIMMING in grease these are up your alley! The breading was wet with grease and falling off in chunks. When I bit into the chicken grease oozed out of it. It was disgusting. Pro, this place turned me off Chilis for good.

Came here for my son’s bday because of the convenience of living in Morgan Hill and having s party of 10 for last minute dinner. Chili’s is normally a fallback go-to for not bad OK food especially this location in MH. My son’s bday dinner turned into a disaster when we waited an hour for our food. I kept asking the server and she kept telling me because it’s a big party, it usually takes longer. Well, you know what, there was a party if 8 next to us that came after, got their food, ate their food and left before us. When we did finally get our food an hour later, I kid you not, everything was room temperature. The fajita that’s supposed to be sizzling was room temperature. So I proceed to talk to the manger and she would not accept the fact that they made a mistake and did not bring the food out on time. It probably sat in the back due to not having enough servers or something. DEFINITELYWOULDNOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACE! THESERVICEIS A JOKE! I won’t say horrible. Just a couple of kids managing this place and it’s pretty pathetic. Logistics for food preparation and serving is not managed well. Should be a zero star rating!

It’s a chain – you get processed, pre packaged food. With that said, the waitress was a sweet and helpful person. Our food came out fast and fresh.

I came here with my ultimate frisbee team on a Sunday night after a tournament and was pretty underwhelmed. To be clear I did not expect a gourmet meal or anything amazing. I was just looking to replenish some lost carbohydrates. This proved harder than expected. I came in with an open mind and was really ready to give Chilis a chance as I had never actually eaten at one before. The food on the menu looked so delicious that I had a lot of trouble picking what to order. I settled on Fajitas because they seemed like the type of generic Tex-Mex food that a place like Chiles would specialize in doing well. The full color photo of succulent steak and sizzling onions didn’t hurt either. It turned out that there was a pretty comical inverse relationship between how gorgeous all the food looked on the menu and how limp, pale, lukewarm, and flaccid it ended up being when it finally arrived. We were a large party so understandably the food took a while but my dish took by far the longest and did not come out with any of the warmth and sizzling ceremony that you expect from food served on a hot cast iron skillet. My fajitas, supposedly a flagship item of this fine establishment exemplified this, coming out lukewarm, nary a sizzle to be heard, the meat dry, the onions under cooked, and the tortillas in a sad desiccated state that you might find if one were to leave tortillas in the sun for too long. The toppings(guacamole, cheese, salsa, and sour cream) and my side of rice and beans arrived a full 10 minutes AFTER the fajitas did, which meant that I ate most of my sad, lukewarm tacos on tortillas that were disintegrating alongside my opinion of Chiles without any form of topping to spice things up or distract from how dry and under-seasoned the chicken was. I’m not sure why these accoutrements took so long to arrive as all of them were at room temperature to begin with. The best part of the meal was definitely my corona-rita, which, true-to-form had a miniature corona bottle peering over the edge like an alcoholic snorkel. More restaurants should serve corona-ritas, if only to inspire jealousy in onlooking tables and make corona more palatable. If I were to come back I would just order two of those with a plate of the fried pickles and then go eat dinner somewhere else. AUTHORSNOTE: Our server was incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive. Let the record show that despite the underwhelming food and slower than average service we tipped her quite well for putting up with the absurdity of putting up with and feeding a bunch of hungry, dirty, and smelly ultimate frisbee players with strong opinions about food and unrealistic expectations about the culinary grandeur of Chilis.

This place is average. The food is average. The service is average(sometimes good, sometimes bad, usually in the middle). It gets busy during dinner, happy hour, and weekends. They have a ton of selections on the kids menu, from sliders to pizza, chicken tenders, and more, with a dozen or so sides to chose from(corn on the cob, French fries, etc). I got the pork tacos last week, and the flavor was good. Rice was crunchy, and they forgot the queso fresco(which I legit had to argue with the waitress about… Le sigh)… But they were good. Especially with the salsa from the chips and salsa app… My favorite!!! I’ve had everything from burgers to buffalo chicken here, and it is usually okay. I don’t go to chili’s thinking I’m going to get AMAZING food or service. It’s decently priced, decent food, and my whole family can find food to eat here.

We went in for a late lunch, early dinner so there wasn’t a wait(yay). Our waitress was pretty good(attentive), but our food was Oh So Delicious! Chef did a fantastic job! I gave them 4 stars because my husband ordered a presidente margarita(2) and both were watered down. Thumbs up for the chef, thumbs down for the bartender.

The service here is SUPERSLOW! When my party arrived, the hostess told us to wait by a table by a window, which was good because we had our dogs in the car adjacent to the restaurant and we could easily keep an eye on them. Anyways, when we arrived at the table, it still had food from the previous party on it; essentially, it hadn’t been cleaned. Some time went by before it was finally cleaned off. What followed was, as stated earlier, SUPERSLOWSERVICE!!! The only reason I gave this location one star is because the food and drink were good, but nothing else was. Don’t ever come here if you hate slow service!

Seriously? You allowed a burnt sandwich to leave the kitchen and be served to a guest??? Ordered the Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich. The bread, cheese, and bacon were so burnt I couldn’t even eat it! Told and showed my server and was only offered a new piece of bread while she quickly whisked away my hockey puck tough bread and briquette bacon and cheese! No manager was called and no offer of a discount to a meal that I couldn’t eat. Ridiculous! Only reason I’m giving it two stars is because my daughter’s Bacon Chicken Quesadilla was cook well and our drinks arrived quickly. $ 10.59 for a sandwich couldn’t even eat except the chicken and avocado slice. Thanks Chili’s!

First off, when there are alot of tables that you can plainly see and the Hostess goes… it will be a twenty(20) minute wait to each guest. It makes you wonder why? Considering this is a Mid-Afternoon Sunday and it isn’t that crowded even with the Basketball Playoff’s and other Sports shown on the TV’s in the bar area. Service is lacking when it comes to food delivery to your table. The Waitresses are quick to be at your table once you are seated and is ready to take your order when you haven’t even looked at the menu yet. But waiting for your food takes forever after you place your order! Nearly 45 minutes of waiting! I don’t know if it’s the Chef/Cooks in the back that decide what order can cook fastest but looking at the party behind me and their order and and compared to what my family ordered, I would have thought it would have been roughly the same cooking time. Since it was Fajitas, Steaks, Pasta, Fries, Grilled Cheese, Burgers we all had similar orders yet theirs was that much faster. This was a party of 5 that seated like 10 minutes after us. However they got their food first while my party still waited ours. And they were seated like 10 minutes after us. Also I saw the Floor Manager/Supervisor bussing the tables faster than the other staff members and hostess. Sad that her work is not being recognized or does she know it’s faster to do the work herself cause she knows the staff for this Sunday is just slow and don’t want to be there! Come on she took a full tray of 18 drink glasses with utensils in each glass and some other small plates from this large party that left! And this is a person that is around 5’6−5’7, petite and walked away with the tray as if it was just a backpack! 5 Stars to her! Food taste preparations and such was all good. Just this staff needs to pick up the pace and support that Floor Manager/Supervisor. The staff don’t always need to be near the bar area! If you read the last 6 or 7 reviews for 2015 you know something is really wrong with this restaurant. Based on my observation and my opinion. I’d get rid of the socialite people/staff and probably bark at the Chef/Cook back there as well. It may be Morgan Hill &US-101 but I have seen better service up and down I-5 and other boondock towns/cities. 2 Stars for sure cause«Meh. I’ve experienced better.»

I’m from morgan hill and returned from LA to grad dinner with my dad. I haven’t been in a long time but noticed the place has gone down hill a lot. Usually it’s busy however it was dead when we went and I know why. The service is terrible. It’s more than obvious that the place is ran by the high school students who work there. We had a terrible waiter, Adrian. Got my drink but then took 10min after he delivered mine to get my dad an ice tea. What the hell? We got our food then returned with our receipt already which made us feel rushed, and we planned on having dessert. We had to wave another waitress down to order the dessert and she didn’t even know where our waiter was. Meanwhile you could hear the kids yelling and laughing in the kitchen and signing to the radio. Before we left my dad asked for an ice tea to go and they said they were out and couldn’t make any more. What the hell? The district manager needs to come crack down on this place because it’s shot.

Visited for a late lunch on Sunday. Sat at the bar and the service was OK. At least not a mess like last time I stopped by. Food ordered and took a while, but was OK as well. Felt a bit better than the previous visit, but still needs more work. It feels like they a skimping a little on the food compared to years before. Will try it again at some point and see.

I can’t say that I’ll ever go here again. I was here the other day had a few beers with a friend. To be specific I had about two beers over the course of more than an hour. The bartender actually had the audacity after I finished my second beer to tell me that I needed to slow down. I’d been there over an hour and had two beers. This especially pissed me off as not 4 days earlier I was here on a Friday and the same bartender served me two scotch and sodas and a beer in much less time(30 min or so). This same bartender didn’t say one word at that time even as I was leaving but now after having two beers decided to open her mouth. I was having some drinks with a friend from work. Didn’t know I was supposed to not laugh or have a good time, which is generally what people do at bars. Am I supposed to sit there quietly and cry in my beer!!! I Couldn’t believe that crap. I can honestly say that I am never ever going to give this restaurant another penny of my hard-earned cash if I can’t so much is have two beers and laugh without someone tell me to slow down.
