I’m not sure if this theater is under new management, or the owner got their act together.
Prices went up to $ 2.50, but everything is a lot cleaner and the shows are timely and sound and projection has worked perfectly the last 3 times I’ve gone.
Sundays they only charge $ 1.50 per person. I usually take my son on Sunday and get him the kids pack for $ 6. Keeping a kid happy and occupied for $ 10 is virtually unheard of these days.
Wednesday nights they also have 2 tickets, 2 drinks, and popcorn for $ 11. Great deal.

It was an okay experience the last time I went there was this chick working there Latina thicker with glasses that was a real pain. I could easily tell she was talking about me, and how she acted with me when I was walking around the theatre. Very disrespectful, on the other hand I do enjoy the place but I did get my money refunded that time. I told them I will come another time, thus its a great place for the price but not worth some of the attendants there. Very prickish but any how good place for a date.

Only 3 stars, but I’m not complaining for what we got for $ 11. Wednesday nights are date nights at this theater. For $ 11 we got 2 tickets, 2 small popcorns, and 2 small (refillable) sodas. Score!
Other reviewers are correct, they will check your bag upon arrival and the bathrooms are upstairs. The theater smells a bit and some of the seats are broken, but at the end of the day what do you expect for such cheap prices? I wouldn’t come here all the time but it’s a great lower price option that I will probably return to for those B list movies.

I’ve been to this theater several times and can agree it has its positives and negatives. Good news first:
In a time where a movie, popcorn and drinks can easily run a couple upwards of $ 40 at a «normal» theater it’s refreshing to have this affordable option available.
That being said, that is the only thing that is fresh about this place. It is older and the screen sometimes seems a little dark. Again, for less than $ 3 a ticket I really can’t complain.
They do search my purse every time and that is annoying.
We have gone on occasion with rude children and teens in the theater that talk throughout. However that is more bad parenting and not necessarily the establishments fault. The time it was REALLY bad, management actually gave us a free voucher to come back and see the movie another time. Handled well, we will be returning.

I’ve been here several times. It is not the best, but a good deal for a family outing.
Most recently, I took my nieces to see Minions. Even though we were late, the previews took almost 20 minutes. I got booster seats, which were gross and sticky.
Once the movie started, my young nieces needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, the only accessible bathrooms are upstairs. Why? I do not know, but it was a pain in my arse to say the least. The toilet seat protectors were also too high for small people.
The tickets for my nieces, my man, and myself were $ 12.50. The large drink and popcorn were about the same price.
It was an adequate experience and my nieces really enjoyed it (mainly the soda and popcorn). I wish the seats were elevated, but considering the price I am happy to come back, even if they do request to look in my purse.

I really think this is a decent theater for the price you are paying. The seating is kind of old, but at least i still see them trying to keep it clean and neat.
By all means if we are complaining about the sound system, screen, seating are bad, those does cost to get it improved with a higher ticket price.
Popcorn are made fresh which i liked. Staff are very friendly. I’m one happy customer.

No complaints for me. Can’t really complain for 6 bucks for a good time! I’m always looking forward for watch a good movie here withy friends.

Not a bad place to catch a flick!
Negatives: Only problems are that the restrooms are upstairs (except for handicapped) and the place is a bit ghetto. Be prepared to show contents of bags and purses. Only salt and butter flavoring is available.
Benefits: You can’t beat the price! Only $ 2.50 for all shows before 6:00pm!
Get the small drink as it is a self-​service soda fountain, and definitely buy the $ 1.00 hotdogs!

$ 6 to see a movie for 2 people. Sweet! This place is ghetto — fabulous. When entering the building you are trapped in a checkpoint. At this checkpoint they ask for you tickets and check your bag for any goods (who brings snacks with them to the movies nowadays?)
They we got in line ordered popcorn, candy and a drink (& an empty box). They gave us an empty drink cup that you fill up yourself and you get to butter your own popcorn (both pluses).
The movie screen was fine. The seats bad, it’s equivalent to sleeping on the ground in terms of comfort. The sound was way too low for a movie experience. And no offense but the worst part was (some of) the people. There were strollers in the theater hallways and babies crying throughout the movie. What kind of ghetto as mother would bring a baby to a movie theater?

ok so the theater itself is a little icky, but you can’t beat the prices !! It could use a deep cleaning, a little sprucing up and updating but that would probably cause the prices to go up which would suck ! Just bring wipes and hand sanitizer with you to wipe things down like the arm rests or the booster seats for kids.
They a decent variety of older movies for all ages so there’s always something to see whether your with kids or just adults.

We arrived a little early for our movie and the only place to sit was outside or on the steps. They could really use some benches in the lobby area for those of us that cant stand that long. The seats in the the theater itself were very uncomfortable. And it was so hot in the theater. Other than that the employees ere very helpful and polite. Really appreciate the effort they put forward into trying to make the best of it.

2 dollar matinée, 3 dollar evening showings
oh well the movies are the last-​chance viewing. if you don’t mind seeing movies after everyone else, this place is a great place to do exactly that!
Save money and have that big screen experience.

Regency is a gem of a movie theater. Why? Because it’s cheap, plays movies you want to see and has everything you need — good concession stand, clean catering, outstanding prices. Can’t beat it for the money
At $ 2:50 before 6pm and $ 3:50 it has prices you love. There’s a 3D projector so there’s no movies which it can’t play. The main fare is blockbuster or mainstream movies that are just off release but there’s also a smattering of limited release films.
Loved a movie and want to see it again but don’t want to pay $ 10 or more? This is the perfect place. Not sure you’ll enjoy a move for «big brand» prices then come here.
We regularly come here to watch movies that don’t demand our immediate attention but we want to see. It’s our b-​list, where we can wait but want to do it on the big screen. Regency is perfect for a catch-​up or rerun.
The cheap prices mean you can bring a family, get them popcorn and drinks and have change from $ 50 not $ 100 like at Harkins or AMC. We tend to use the savings to splurge on eating out before or after but however you do it the cost isn’t a factor.
The chairs are altogether comfortable and in some theaters the armrest appear fixed. You’ll find a lot of people sloughed down as that’s the most comfortable way to watch the film. One star off for this.
The restrooms have undergone a major renovation so FINALLY you can lock the doors and they are clean. Nice staff who work hard.
Can’t beat it for the money.

Great price at $ 3.50 for movies that haven’t been out for extremely long. Would’ve given five stars if the seats were newer and cleaner.

My husband and I went here with some friends last night, and had a pleasant experience. The theatre seemed clean and the customer service was quick. You can’t beat their prices, which means it does get busy, so come a few minutes early.

Came too early for a movie. Wanted to play some games. Change machine was out of order. Went to the concession stand, where we just bought an Icee (and got quarters back), the guy at the register said he didn’t have change. My husband went to the ticket window to get change. They almost gave him some, but then they said they couldn’t open their drawers unless it was a sale. Now were just sitting around waiting for our movie with our 5 dollar Icee. We think the should just turn off the games if they aren’t going to offer change.
The women’s room was dirty and scary looking. The doors dont close all the way on half of the stalls.
Over all, movie price was good. the concession stand prices are absurd, and the service sucks. You get what you pay for. If the movie we wanted to see was still at Harkins, we would have went their instead.

Great inexpensive way to watch your favorite movies on a big screen…
Bathrooms need work and maintenance. But overall not bad.

Been here many times and last night they asked to look in my wifes small purse. We refused and got our money and left.
Also you pay for what you get: Bad sound quality, bad picture quality, and incompetent staff. You are better off waiting until the movie is redbox and enjoy it from home.

Can’t beat it. 4 dollars for 3d legos. 2 bucks for regular movies 4 large cokes 2 large popcorns (free refills) 2 candies 35 bucks. Self service soda plus. Bathrooms upstairs minus. Go early or your gonna get the hardcore pawn crowd. If your ex large the seats are snug. Not a bad theater. Bathrooms clean enough. But we were early.
