Fast professional, no hidden fees and they electronically send the smog to the dmv which helps so you don’t have to go to the dmv and show them the smog. don’t forget to check in to use the coupon. I would recommend this place definitely coming back with my other vehicles

They honored the coupon for $ 40 with tax it was $ 43.

Went in last week to smog my 2004 GMC Envoy. Friendly staff and price was reasonable. I was in and out with my certificate within 15 minutes. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

This review is quite a bit late but I felt I needed to finally put it in so it would not happen to anyone else. I brought in my 2001 Dodge Dakota last November which was running fine but the check engine light was on. I took it to Prieto and they performed the smog check as I asked but told me it failed because the check engine light was on. They said they cannot pass any vehicle that has the check engine light on. I told them why did you go ahead and perform the test if you knew if would not pass. They said because I asked them to smog test it. So all they wanted was their money knowing my vehicle would not pass. I fixed the check engine light, a small in-​expensive fix, and I took my truck to a different smog check and it passed with flying colors. I will never go to Prieto again.

My boyfriend went in to get his 88 toyota pick up smoged. This place was friendly and quick and very helpful. We would recommend and we will sure be returning. Thank you so much for being honest and helpful guys.

Called and they said no problem, come in! It will take 10 – 15 minutes. Got here and was told it would be $ 73 total. I mentioned the coupon but I knew it would be a bit more because I needed a Star smog. He said he would check. He comes back 10 minutes later to tell me it’s $ 60, and they were working on it already. I’ll take $ 13 off any day.

Great service, honest and dependable. They are up front about all the fees required to get you properly smog’d. I brought in the coupon and Juan took care of me in 15minutes. The best 40 bucks (3 dollar CC fee which is to be expected)
They are conveniently opened on Sundays so their work hours fit anyone’s schedule.

They’re open on Sundays which is a day most other places are closed. With a busy weekday schedule and not much time on Saturday either, this is a life saver. The technician was quick and professional which was much appreciated. Will definitely be back as well as refer this place to friends.

I guess if your car passes you’re happy and if not then you give them a bad review. My car passed, I’m happy. They were open on Sunday when most other places were closed, I’m happy. It cost $ 40, I’m happy. The waiting area isn’t great but I was out of there pretty quick. Call ahead and make sure it isn’t crowded.

They are open on Sunday when most others are closed. Technician was excellent fast and courteous. Told tech that I had concerns that my dashboards warning was on and didn’t want to proceed if the car would fail test he put a meter on the car and said it was clear but couldn’t guarantee it would pass. That was good enough for me car passed, in and out in twenty minutes. Paid $ 60.00 out the door. not the cheapest but worth it with service rendered.

First time I EVER smogged my own car. My experience here was adequate. Service was fast (30 minutes aprox), service was friendly, waiting room was a bit uncomfortable and hot, and the bathroom was okay (be ready to make-​shift your own toilet seat cover ladies!) I only paid $ 40 for the whole thing. My husband said that was pretty good. I recommend this place, but come early to beat the waiting time.

Do not go here! My car didn’t pass and I had to pay $ 60. Then if I go back for the retest, they will charge me $ 40. I asked why they were not a pass or don’t pay. They said nobody does that anymore. Then when I took it to my mechanic, he said not to go there and he had another place he would have recommended that is pass or don’t pay.
