Would give zero if I could… Beware of Joe Aragon, he’s a scam artist… After he gets paid you won’t be able to find him(specially since he doesn’t have an office). I had to block his number because he kept calling demanding to take this review down! At first he’s really nice but don’t be fooled like I was… He took advantage of my inexperience in the construction business… Wasted my time and money…

Joe Aragon is worse contractor I have ever delt with! At first he seems very nice and eager to earn my business but as soon as he got his money, he turned cold shoulder on me. I have to follow up with him a zillion times for each step of the process. Very, very, very frustrating. It took me 6 months and 3 revisions before we got a city permit approval plan(when he told me «oh, it should take no more than a few weeks!»). Worse of all, the plan he drew up is way over the city code requirement so I would need to spend a lot more money to build according to his plan!(I didn’t know this until I got a licensed general contractor to review). Now I am trying to get him to revised the plan(and resubmitted which will cost me more time and money) but of course he is no where to be found! He won’t return my calls, text and emails. It is worth mentioning that Joe Aragon is NOT an architect — he doesn’t not have a license.
