I’m am extremely disappointed with this companies Customer service. They have no respect for the customers homes. This company does not practice good house keeping and will damage you property. I have been trying to contact the project manager tom for the last week and a half to resolve the issue. Each time I’ve called he is either on another call or out of the office yet never returns my calls even thought I am being told he is receiving my messages. Even though this company preaches great customer service and wonderful warranty I can only expect their warranty to hold up as well as their customer service. To clarify below is the list of items that we had to deal with
1. Picking up chain links left from demo
2. Back filling holes for posts
3. Cleaning up dirt left out from demo
4. Cleaning up vinyl material from cuttings
5. Chunks of concrete left in grass from setting posts.
6. Permanent splatter of concrete on my driveway from mixing.
7. And our personal favorite concrete boot marks left on our walkway.
It’s safe to say we will NOT be doing business with this company
Update with response: I have finally been contacted by the company. To put it simply, tom stated our driveway was not in great condition so what does a few more spots matter !
Wonderful customer service !

I had a fence put in by H& H on both sides of my yard. The colors don’t match and the fence on one side is wrong color and crooked instalation. The customer service was non existence and any one doing business with these people beware. My number is 317−605−4720 and I would be happy to discuss their practices with you or you could come by my home in Temecula to see how bad of job they did.

I’m very happy with the side fence we had put it even though there was a situation that occurred (i’ll explain later) The crew is great for the exception of one person who had a bad attitude but the owner came out and took care of that situation and I was very happy with that

To be fair to them I had to wait for the neighbor next to us to get in contact with me, to see if we were going to split the cost. When I finally did get in touch with him and get the answer I called H&H twice, this was our original person I not get an answer, then I text him 3 times, no answer I then called the office twice did not get an answer so I emailed the owner, no reply and then I called the office again and got someone on the phone and it was a week before the person could come out I said anybody come out sooner? I got a little bit of a snotty attitude well that’s the only time he’ll be out that way she said !! I said all right if that’s the only time but I’d like to get this done because I have to let the neighbor know three days at a time before you come, that’s when I was told about the prior sales person didn’t do this Area anymore. I said OK just make sure this gentleman understand everything she said OK sure no problem, something to that effect
Well all I needed was to sign the contract give the down payment money and get a date were going to start!
The new guy had no clue !! He brought a measuring tape him, I told him we already had the quote and why he was there !! He had No idea about what was going on! He kept apologizing and I said it was OK that it wasn’t his fault that he wasn’t informed correctly. I Asked him when they were going to come out to put a new fence and he said he had no idea? That’s when I got a little more upset, I have a lot of patience I have an autistic son so I have to learn patience but by that time I was ready to blow a fuse I asked him to call the office because that was One of the reasons He was coming, poor guy acted clueless kept saying sorry
He called the office and the woman said she wasn’t sure but probably Wednesday !! I still did not get an actual date so now I have to call back on Monday! Being fair I understand their probably very busy right now with all income tax money coming back and people want to do improvements but it doesn’t take that long to give someone a date or just send someone out that all knows the situation at least give them a heads up, give them a date RETURN phone calls and emails I would’ve expected more from this company especially after speaking to the owner for quite some time when he came out the first time to view the damages Mr. Tom Healey

I’m getting them five stars because the product seems to be very good and the prices are very reasonable and fair I just think that they need to do a little work on their customer service I know they have deadlines but so do their customers

I agree with the other negative reviews and the fact that they don’t even deserve one star. I have complained/​reported them to Home Depot. I don’t understand why they would even do business with a company like H & H. This company could care less about the customer. I called and left messages four times and couldn’t even get anyone to call me back. The last person I spoke to was rude when I asked if someone could just please call me back, her response was that they were just «too busy». Thank goodness I went with another company. Home Depot needs to do their homework in regards to the contractors they are referring to their customers.

This is the WORST company and contractor EVER!!! The are worst than the worst unlicensed contractor you could imagine. We went through Home Depot and they sent us H & H Building & Supply. The fence they put up is of such poor quality it’s hard to believe they are a licensed contractor. They left two HUGE gaps from the bottom of the fence to the ground. Our dog gets through there heck a full grown man could crawl underneath it. Its that bad. When I called Tom at the office he was of NO help. He said he had Fred out there and if Fred thinks it’s fine it’s fine!!! Tom never wanted to come and actually see what it looked like nor did he want to see any of pictures I took. Besides the gaps the fence is clearly uneven with high and low spots. The front of the shared fence where our gates were replaced are uneven and don’t even match, it’s ridiculous. How can a contractors crew be so stupid to knowingly do such crappy work or maybe it was intentional because we were complaining for the poor quality of work. I called Home Depot they didn’t care. They left a mess in our yards. Just the WORST company and contractor EVER! Also they demanded payment in FULL PRIOR to putting us on the schedule. We never had a fence replaced and paid them. I’ve called several Fence companies out of them and NOT one of them asked to be paid in advance. All of them said after the job is complete. NEVER USE HOME DEPOT OR H & H BUILDING & SUPPLY. They are RIP OFFS!

Let me start off by saying that I did A LOT of research before I chose which company to go with for our fence. My Wife and I are very particular when it comes to Home Improvement as we have had some bad experiences in the past. These guys showed up for an estimate on time and walked my wife and I through the whole process and seemed to know much more about vinyl fencing than other reps we spoke with. We had to have some of our fence mounted on concrete and a lot of companies weren’t able to do that for us. It wasn’t our cheapest bid but we were looking at more than just price for a fence that will be in our yard forever. The rep that came out (Chris) walked us through the different styles and helped us find what we were looking for and how it would be installed. Needless to say day of install the guys showed up early, worked hard, and got the entire 200+ feet of fence and a cargate done for our entire back yard in 3 days! Fred was very organized and communicated non stop with my wife who was there while it was being installed to make sure everything was how we wanted. I was amazed with how great it looked, I’ll put some pictures up here shortly as well. I’d recommend them, 5 stars!

So we wanted a new fence to help with all the dogs barking everytime we went outside. We went with H & H building supply, inc. and could not hae been happier. On the side of the house where there is a dirt patchabout 4 feet wide if you notice the before pictures the dirt is uneven and there is disrt on the sidewalk. In the after pictures you can see they leveled the dirt and swept up the dirt that was there before! Christina was happy enough that she baked them brownies that we gave to them at the end of the project. We now have the privacy we were in need of.

We called H&H and they promptly came out and gave us a quote. We had one side of our crummy old fence done with a gate and they did a wonderful job, plus the color is perfect for our house. They are prompt and very hard workers. We ended up getting the other two sides done as well and are super pleased.
If anything critical — and it’s not that big of a deal, but there is a surcharge if you want to use a credit card, so we paid with checks. And they require half up front which is more than our other contractors asked for. However, I highly recommend them!

I decided to go with these guys because their product seemed better than the rest with metal actually in the base panel of the fence. I priced out a few companies and they all were around the same price give or take a few hundred bucks. Also let me point out that when I spend over $ 5,000 on something I’m gonna expect perfection. The guys showed up bright and early and started cutting the fence down within minutes. I looked outside about 30 minutes after they started and my whole fence was almost down already. I was impressed. They were gone by 3pm as it was a 2 day job. Same thing next day started early and were done by 2pm. Through the entire instalation Able, the crew boss had made sure to communacated throughout the project just to make sure I was happy and didn’t have any questions. I also complained after they left the first day because one of the panels were slightly scratched. They replaced it next day with no problems. That’s not the best part though. After the project was almost done I walked out and noticed that my neighbors front portion of the fence wasn’t done. I asked Able if they were doing that as well and he said it wasn’t on his paperwork. I then started to go through the quote and couldn’t believe I over looked that part in the paperwork as I assumed it was on there, Because It Was INCLUDED With the other side and I just over looked it. I called emmediatly basically panicking because I promised my neighbors it was all good with the amount I told them. Right away the Owner Tom looked over the paperwork and I was like I know I know I screwed up and didn’t notice or I wouldn’t of went forward with the project. As I didn’t make any excuses he told me to relax and that they would take care of it for me. That’s STAND up far and beyond anything you had to. On behalf of my family, neighbors and my pocket book THANK YOU.

My husband and I needed to replace our falling over wood fence. We wanted to make sure we got a professionally installed fence so we went into The Home Depot to see what they could do for us. They took our information and sent it to this company H&H where they set us up with an appointment for a free estimate. The sales representative, Charlie, arrived on time and was very helpful and professional with helping us with our decision. We chose a vinyl privacy fence for our backyard in a really nice sand color. We were contacted the day after signing the contract by their project manager, Tom, to set an installation date in less than two weeks. The install team was also very professional and I couldn’t believe how efficiently they worked. The entire job (just under 100 feet) was completed in one day and they cleaned up after themselves. My husband and I could not be more happy with our new fence and I will be recommending this company to anyone i know who needs one!

I had a fence install 2 weeks ago and decided to write a review. I went into Home Depot and they took my information down and sent it to this company, H&H. I was a little skeptical at first but the receptionist was very nice over the phone and set an appointment for me. They told me Tycie would be the representative who would give me the quote and he came on a saturday. He was very professional and was very knowledgeable about the product. They have various products from vinyl, iron, and wood. My boyfriend and I decided to go with the white vinyl and we are so happy with how it turned out. The install crew was very professional and it was not over crowded. They only sent 3 people and they completed the entire project in a day. What I liked most about going through home Depot was the offer of lifetime warranty and 2 year interest free. Can’t beat H&H!!! THANKS FOR DOING A GREAT JOB. I will be sure to refer you to family and friends.

Please, please don’t make the same mistake as me. Do not use H&H Building & Supply as a contractor for your fence! I was put in contact with them through Home Depot’s installation services as well as finding them advertising in «The Home Improvement Guide» booklet that is sent through the mail. They pushed me away from using Home Depot by telling me that they would give me a 10% discount of my job of $ 3,000 or more, so, I proceeded and had them come to my house for a bid. Joseph Healy, the son of the owner of the company, came to my house for the bid. He told me that in the bid the installers would be cutting out a piece of my walkway so that the fence can lie more onto my property line then my neighbor’s. At the day of the install, the crew did not bring the appropriate tools to cut concrete and even went on to say that they didn’t have appropriate license to haul concrete away?!? They did a very good job of trying to avoid having to cut the concrete because it meant more work for them. When I called the owner, Tom Healy, about the issue he told me that even though the sales guy, which is his son, says they would do something, that is not always the case and they can’t always be prepared for every job, even though the sales guy sells it that way to the customer. He went on to say that even though the fence lies more on my neighbor’s side, because they agreed to it, it’s grandfathered in and the neighbor could never take down the fence. After talking with a real estate attorney and title company, the «grandfather clause» does not exist. After explaining my concern of the install of the fence to the owner Tom Healy, he told me that I would have to be the one to go tell the crew to take down the fence and that he wasn’t going to do it. Needless to say the fence wasn’t properly installed as it was sold to me by the sales rep, the owners son Joseph Healy. The story gets even better, they will not honor the 10% coupon, instead they are telling me they gave me more then 10% off the bid from the start, which is funny because they never provided an itemized bid showing the cost of the materials and labor and any discounts taken off the price. So basically, they are now backing into the coupon and not applying it to the actual job, which the coupon clearly states «10% off any job» not the bid! After talking with the sales rep, Joseph Healy, over the phone he told me that I will never see any money from them and that I should take my matters to the police! Really?!? Very unprofessional individual. Please do not use them at all. I would tell anyone in the Orangecrest area of Riverside to call All Counties Fence because they are a much better company and completely honest with their bid process. Do not use H&H Building and Supply, Inc. out of Moreno Valley!

I was unfortunately paired up with this company by Home Depot when I was looking for some fencing done on my home. As you may or may not know, Home Depot contracts out all their installation services.
Anyhow…
I set an appointment with receptionist for this company. She was friendly and pleasant — that’s the only pro about this company.
Needless to say, I cleared my day off for this appointment and NO ONE showed up. After waiting about 45 minutes I decided to give them a call to see if maybe the estimator was running late or what not. What I got was an answering machine — no live person on my appointment day! Say what?!!
Ok, I went ahead and left a message thinking perhaps my appointment slipped through their cracks. I do like to give companies benefit of doubt, but foolish me because NO ONE called me back (and it’s been about a month so far right now).
No sorry for not showing up, No sorry for wasting your time. Nadda, zip, zilch!

I seen a rep from Angie’s List at a home show and got a subscription which was the smartest decision I made.
I’ve been dealing with professional fence installers on AL who come on time and take their business seriously.
I also learned to be wary of the contractors referred to you by places like Home Depot and Sears (that’s another review to come later!). When they assign someone to you do your research first and if you don’t like what you see or you don’t see any reviews at all, ask for another contractor.
