Rustic Retreat Spa & Make Up Studio

What a cute spa! I love it! I Went in tonight for a waxing with Missy and it was fantastic! She is so sweet and made me feel super comfortable. She did an amazing job! The owner is also a sweetheart! I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for relaxation and excellent service!

A jewel in the little village of Moorpark. Brook is excellent for a mani pedi and Missy is awesome for facials and brows. So fortunate to have a high quality spa in Moorpark that cares about its clients. You will not be disappointed and you can even make your appointment on line!

It is so wonderful to have an actual spa here in Moorpark! The place is so cute; I love the décor and ambiance. I was greeted warmly, and Brooke did my nails. My feet soaked in a large chic metal basin, not a dirty spa tub. The chair was large with pillows, I had a neck pillow that was warmed, and Jasmine tea. I felt so comfortable ! Brooke was so personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. My nails turned out so cute, and perfectly painted. I’m definitely going back, and would LOVE to try their other services.

Amazing place! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! Missy has been my anesthesitian for years and would highly recommend her and Rustic!

Wonderful staff and charming spa environment. Waxing by April is always a pleasure, she takes the time to get to know your needs and accommodates my super sensitive skin. There are alternatives to hot wax and strips that would damage my skin. I’ve been going to April for years and will continue to do so. The facial today was just what I needed… Relaxing, comfortable, educational, and most important I felt recharged with a beautiful glow. I can’t wait to book my next service, with the monthly specials and extensive menu I’ll be back very soon.

Missy is my all time go to girl for any waxes and facials!!! She makes you feel super comfortable and does it quick and efficiently. And her facials! Oh my gosh! I got an oxygen facial and my skin has never felt better ever! And the best part is while the masks are on she gives the best food scrub/​massage! I will never go to anyone other than missy and i haven’t in years she’s the best!

I love this Spa! Its so warm and cozy. I got a wonderful facial and hair cut. It’s nice to go to one place for all my beauty needs. Tracy and her staff really know how to pamper a girl. Two thumbs up for Rustic Retreat!

I was with my 15 year old daughter at Starbucks and we saw what looked like a new salon so we walked over to take a look. The owner gave us a tour and I was surprised to see how much they offered from hair cutting to facial treatments, waxing, mani/​pedis, massage and even make up application. My daughter had recently had a hair cut and was really upset with how it had come out. Since we were in the salon and I really like the feel and atmosphere, I set up an appointment for the next day with Brooke. Brooke was able to clean up all of the mismatched layering and reshaped my daughter’s hair into a style that she really liked. I am so happy that we took a walk over to Rustic Retreat because the staff were so friendly and Brooke took the time to look at my daughter’s hair and explain the options she had. She also blew it out and styled it and now my daughter is happy. We have both found a new hair stylist and I am going in for a facial next week. I highly recommend giving this place a try for any of your beauty needs. Such a great asset to the Moorpark area!

I had my manicure done by Brook today. I was skeptical with only one review but i am glad i trusted it. Brook is best at what she does. It was nice and relaxing 30 minutes for me, wish I had more time. I am happy with my nails. my hands do feel relaxed and I don’t want to go back to work. Just kidding. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

I have so much to say about Rustic Retreat. Starting with the owner Tracy who is so lovely and makes you feel so pampered just like her entire staff! She hosted a small Christmas spa party for myself and 4 girls. We had massages, facials, manis pedis. We felt so pampered and relaxed that day. We were all hooked. Now I have been back and had my hair done. She is the best colorist in the area! Plus facial and I am hooked on face products! My friends all have been back for facials, waxing and massage as well as products. The line they use is called «Imagine». Ok so this is the best part of my review: I had a spot on my face for over a year I was concerned may be cancer! I had gone to dermatologist and they said it was an «age spot» I could pay $ 500 to remove. I was going to go back and have it removed BUT I had just started using the face wash & mask from Rustic Retreat and suddenly the spot is completely GONE! Ladies need I say more? 5 +++++ stars from me!
