Bellissimo Salon and Day Spa

Due to the fact that my beloved hair stylist is in Sherman oaks and I’ve progressively moved further and further away, I’ve been looking for a new hair stylist for a long time. I have two small kids and finding time to get my hair done plus a 45 min commute was not realistic anymore. So I went on Unilocal and found Bellissimo salon and saw pictures of hair by Alix Torchon and took the plunge! I’m so happy I did! She did exactly what I asked for and did a fantastic job and even gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time! I will definitely be returning to her regularly.
Also, the retail area in the spa is great! Ended up doing a mini shopping spree while I was there and am in love with the merchandise they have there from local vendors. I got some super cute stuff for myself and my kiddos!

It is hard growing old. I was born with auburn hair which I love but now I have to color it. Kattie does a great job and makes me feel young again. My husband always loves how great my hair looks. And the price is great! My boys and girls go to Kattie too. Thanks for making the whole family look good!

I have come into the boutique to purchase clothes, I love the unique local items available at Bellisimo. Today I brought my son in to get a haircut, he usually drives all the way to OC to see his barber. Rigo did a great job! My son is very picky about his hair and left very satisfied. The décor and friendly atmosphere is a plus! It’s great to have place like Bellisimo that allows me to shop local!

I went to the boutique portion yesterday after work to check out some of the items from local artists. I came home with three things. Oopsies. Haha. Cute boutique and when my massage envy membership is up I will be trying out the salon for facials!

As a business person and in sales all my life customer service is number one in my book. While on travels I called Susan who is the owner of Bellissimo to help me in a pinch for my Anniversary. I gave her a budget. She asked me questions about my wife and absolutely nailed a perfect set of clothes from the shop along with gift certificates for facials and nails… as well as utilized her connections for flowers to bring it all together. And even had it delivered while i was out of town in Moorpark.
Made me look like a rock star. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had

Went to Jennifer and she needed to fix my hair from a previous cut at another shop. She did a great job and was very friendly. I will be back for sure to see her again.
The clothes they have are very stylish if your young or older. I like that they have so may services they provide.

This review is not to reflect the salon but only one of the stylists, Kattie D. She was hired to do the brides hair for a two day wedding. She was paid for both days in advance. She came to the first day and did a nice job on the brides hair, although it only held the first few hours (pins were falling out everywhere during photos). The next day (reception) the bride was having scheduling conflicts between the photographer and the hair stylist. The bride had asked Kattie to come to the house once she (Kattie) was done with her last client that afternoon. Kattie refused to come at all. After arguing back and forth and Kattie being quite rude to a stressed bride on her wedding, the bride asked for a refund for the second day since Kattie refused to come. Again, Kattie refused to refund. She kept the payment for a service she did not give and left a bride hanging on her wedding day! Will not be going to her or referring anyone to her!

I am new to Simi, and our awesome realtor recommended that I go see Karina for cut and color. I went last week and I am SO HAPPY. My previous stylist had decided to use a new brand of color on my hair and without my permission had taken my hair super, super light. Karina fixed it by adding in low lights and the correct color highlights. Perfect! And she gave me a nice, healthy looking haircut. The salon is really cute and everyone was very nice and I had a great time chatting with Karina while she did my hair. I’ll be coming back to see Barbi the esthetician soon, and I’ll be seeing Debbie for my Blowout in December. Yay!

Rebecca did my hair for my birthday, just a trim and style basically. She was awesome and I love my hair. Also helped teach me how to style it every day!

Deborah is so nice. She listens to input, asks if you had a picture in mind, and makes suggestions. The salon is clean and friendly and accommodates walk-​ins. My man and I have both gotten great cuts from Bellisimo. –1 star because the front on one side of my hair was chopped awkwardly and too short riiiight at the end of our session. I should have said, «No thanks, I like the cut. Don’t ‘frame my face’.»

I’ve been going to J’Nell at this salon for over a year and absolutely love it. One of things I like best is how she is able to understand what I want without me having to give her detailed direction. I’ve had haircuts, highlights, color and the keratin straightening treatment all by her and loved the results every time. Not only she is a great stylist, she is also very friendly. The salon is cute and clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and plenty of parking.

I absolutely LOVE J’Nell!!! I really wanted to get the keratin treatment done on my hair thick and frizzy hair. J’Nell came highly recommended by my girlfriend Vanessa who goes to J’Nell. Making my appointment with J’Nell was super easy. The day of my appointment I was a little nervous because I really wanted this keratin treatment to work on my hair. My appointment took about 3hrs but it sure didn’t feel like it because J’Nell made my first visit so easy and fun. We were like two girlfriends catching up! she just makes you feel so at home and comfortable. I was a little sad that my hair was done because we were having so much fun talking. I must say after my keratin treatment my hair has never look so healthy and soft. It’s been a few weeks now and I still get people telling me how great my hair looks:) I can now actually let my hair air dry and it doesn’t turn into a big frizzy mess. I so can’t wait to see J’Nell in December to do it all again:)

Bellissimo is a wonderful and relaxing salon! I have gotten great service there for my hair and will be returning for sure! I have Teresa as my stylist and she always delivers superb service, and I have had cuts, brazillian blowouts, and deep conditioning treatments and have loved the results. I highly recommend her!

I am absolutely in love with this salon! I found this salon a little over a year ago. I was meeting my boyfriends family for the first time at his sisters wedding. I had gotten my makeup done and I looked like I had 5 pounds of makeup on my face. My friend was working at this salon covering for someone. It wasn’t her normal salon. I was in tears when I pulled up to get my hair done. I was so nervous about meeting my boyfriends family and I looked like a cheap hooker. I was thinking about possibly not even going to the wedding.
I walked in and my friend was running late so I wandered around the boutique and found THE PERFECT dress for the wedding. I was talking to the receptionist about my disaster when the owner walked up and told me not to worry, they had a makeup person in the back and she could squeeze me in. They fixed my makeup, airbrushed a tan on me, helped me pick out a better dress and my friend styled my hair perfectly! I felt like Cinderella! I couldn’t believe what they accomplished in an hour and a half! I am not married to my boyfriend and his family loves me! Thanks to Bellissimo I didn’t look like a cheap hooker going to the wedding and giving off the wrong impression to my now husbands family.
I have been back several times and this is the only place I will ever get spray tanned. The color is PERFECT and it doesn’t run or turn my skin orange.
YOU WILL LOVE THIS SALON AS MUCH AS I DO!!!
