As much as I’ve tried multiple times to give this nail salon a chance, I always leave extremely frustrated and unhappy. The employees aren’t very friendly, they always act as if you’re an inconvenience and the work they do is horrible. I’m very simple when it comes to my nails and for me to say that means they’re clearly not doing anything right. The last time I went in I asked for a fill with the glitter pink powder and it came out uneven and sloppy and when I asked them to fix it they simply put a glittery polish over it and to top of off my acrylic broke the same day. My advice is stay away from this salon, you will leave very unsatisfied!

My friend and I walked in to this nail salon for the first time wanting to try it out, we walked in and didn’t receive any friendly greeting. They didn’t even walk up to us just stayed in the back sitting. We felt so uncomfortable and all they asked was what do you want? We just got this rude vibe and ended up just leaving without getting our nails done. Don’t recommend

My grandmother had treated my great grandmother and I to a Manicure. She had gotten a Pedicure and Manicure. The gentleman was alright, but he shaped my nails awkwardly, it seemed like he was rushing. My great grandmother had no problem, but she was waiting slightly longer since only 3 people were working and the last lady was already helping another customer. My grandmother on the other hand, the lady did a nice job on her toes, but the manicure she received was quick and rushed because 3 people had walked in. The very next day, her nail polish had already chipped halfway down her nails, and we had a wedding to go to. She was very upset. I don’t think we’ll be ever coming back to here.

Very relaxing atmosphere and the best massage chairs. Steve is very meticulous when doing my nails. I only wish they had more gel polish colors to choose from.

I have been going to Ocean 11 salon since they opened. So clean and friendly! I hardly ever have to wait too long and I’m always happy when I leave. Gels stay for two weeks like other places, pedis last for more or less than a month.

I really wish this place was good because I live around the corner. It’s also one of the cleanest salons around, and all the equipment looks clean and relatively new. Unfortunately it takes more than a nice looking salon. I have been going for nail fills for a solid 5 months. Every time I go I swear I won’t go back. I don’t know why but they refuse to fill my nails up to the cuticle, so when I leave the salon It looks like I already have 1 week of growth. I point it out and ask for more acrylic and he reluctantly adds a TINY amount more… Which makes no difference. I swear the only reason I can think they would do this is to guarantee return customers way before 2 weeks(which was working). My nails have popped off multiple times within a few days of getting them, and I find fungus because of the air pockets and water getting under my nails from bad fill jobs. The people there are pretty nice. They do accommodate walk-ins… Because I see it happen a lot. The pedicures are good but a ton of hidden extras … So they are pricey by the time you leave. All in all I would say pedicures are worth it if you don’t mind spending $ 30 – 35. Nails are OK but look about a week old day 1 and may or may not last on your fingers until the next fill.

If I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. I have tried to give this salon multiple tries because it is close to my home when I come back from school. Every time I am more and more disappointed. This last time, and yes the LAST time I will ever go there, it was just horrible. It was this past Sunday and while I would have usually gone to my normal salon, I knew it would be crowded because it’s ALWAYS crowded. Now, this Ocean 11 salon is never crowded. I made an appointment to get my nails done with my mom, and they said to come in at 11:30AM. No problem. So we did… We walk in and two people are working on one person and there is no one else in the salon. So, what do they make us do? Wait 30 minutes, because that’s what you do when you make an appointment, right? I could understand waiting at a doctor’s office, but really? An empty nail salon? I don’t think so. Finally, after 30 minutes(a minute more and I was about to walk out), we were seated. From that moment though, it took an hour and a half to have the services done! I got a normal pedicure with a gel manicure — an hour tops if you ask me. Now, it is Friday evening and one of my gel nails CAMEOFF. Fabulous! I knew I didn’t like how it looked when I left the salon on Sunday, but there was no way I was staying there longer than I had to. Overall, this salon is a waste of time, money, and happiness. By the time you wait and sit down, you will be angry and want nothing to do with these workers. There is no welcoming or professional atmosphere at all. STAYAWAY!

Terrible place! Terrible rude service. They claim to have so many specials but every time I come there they are either booked(so they say… THEPLACE is empty!) or closing early. They are extremely unprofessional. Don’t bother you will be sad.

Walked in for a pedicure to give it a shot despite the reviews. Right off the bat I was cut from the guy rubbing the pumice stone really hard. It bled a good amount and his solution was dunking my foot in the water! Needless to say now I have a lovely scab from it. The pedicure was rushed, not attentive at all. Just as fast as I sat down, I was quickly being rushed off the chair to dry my toes. I will never be going back or recommending anyone there.

Went into this salon without an appointment for a quick polish change and pedicure. There was one customer in the salon. I asked for a pedicure with polish change and the girl working on the customer asked if I had an appointment and I said no I was just a walk in. Even though there was one customer and two other workers were sitting at their booths reading a newspaper, she said I had to wait 30 minutes. I said no thanks and left. I would think that because there were so few people in the nail salon they would be more welcoming and accommodating even though I didn’t have an appointment but they must not need my business. Nonetheless, there are several other nail salons in moorpark so I went elsewhere…

I went here to get a mani-pedi the day before my wedding with my husband’s sister. The staff got us seated right away, even though it was busy. The woman who worked on me was mostly silent throughout the process, which was fine because I figured she was really focusing on doing her job. However, when she was trimming the cuticles on my fingers, she went really fast and, of course, went too fast and ripped out a huge piece of skin along with part of my cuticle. It hurt so. badly. Honestly I was trying not to cry from the pain, and I have a fairly high pain threshold. She said«sorry» and put a drop of what I presume was something antibacterial on the open wound and then went on to the next finger with only a little more care. The worst part of her mistake was that it was the middle finger of my left hand, so it is obviously visible in wedding pictures. It went mostly downhill from there. The pedicure was good, but nothing I couldn’t match in quality myself. The French tip fingernail polish was good but uneven or bleeding into the clear part of a few fingers. All in all, it was nice to have someone else do my nails(I haven’t gotten my nails done by someone else in over 4 years) but I will definitely not return to this place.

So I just tried this place for the first time and the lady Celine is actually pretty rude and she argues with customers, she did a decent job and was nice to me but she was arguing/yelling at a different customer. The girl April is amazing, she’s sweet and does a very good job! But I wouldn’t recommend Celine, she makes the experience a little awkward lol

This place has awful customer service! My husband & I went there for pedis and they told us they didn’t have time for us an hour before they were due to close. No worries, my money is good elsewhere.

Totally rude and unfriendly. You better have an appointment or they will treat you like you’re not welcome and stare at you like you have three heads. We walked out before getting anything done.

I’ve finally found MY nail salon! Ah! This nail salon is close to my house, reasonably priced, and they do a great job! I’ve gone there several times now and the workers there have always been pleasant with me. My pedicures always last a long time. The best part, it’s across from Target! Woooop!!! :)
