Genesis Stoneworks

We have an area that required watering and desired to have it paved to provide a patio. After considering bids from several contractors we were reminded of Genesis when we passed a neighbors that had a display sign for Genesis. We called for a free quote and promptly received a visit from Chad the area representative. His quote was responsive to our requirements and he suggested alternatives that were better and less expensive. The work started within a few days and was completed within a few days to our complete satisfaction. We have no reservations recommending Genesis.

Daniel came within minutes of the appointment and was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Was able to provide an estimate on the spot.

My wife and I used Home Advisor to search for someone to do our stone patio in the back yard. I called and had quotes done from four other companies and after talking with Scott, one of Genesis’ contractors, he was able to bring the price down to a reasonable enough quote that paying for their services made sense.
Scott took measurements, drew a project graph and sent it over with the quote to agree on and went so far as to have sample stones delivered for us to pick from because our work schedules weren’t flexible enough to go to the store and pick them ourselves.
Sarah and I wanted the project finished as soon as possible because we didn’t want exposed dirt in our back yard for our 1yr old and two dogs to get into. Scott had it done in 2 days from the start of his project for a 500sqft oddly shaped area. All the stones are professionally cut to fit with a sturdy and flush finish.
I sprayed the hose against the wall of the house to see if all the water ran away from the foundation. Everything flowed towards a new drain he had built and into the grassy area of the yard. We couldn’t be more grateful with the high quality and professional work of Genesis Stoneworks.

They were contracted to us through Home Depot. Chad, our dedicated contractor, was professional, personable, on point and extremely helpful. We ran into challenges with our HOA but Chad was there to help us the entire way. Once we got the approval we needed, the work started ASAP and they were done in record time. We couldn’t be happier, we absolutely LOVE our new patio!

Scott Raffety and team kicked butt doing our backyard project. They are very professional, on time, and ahead of schedule. I recommend them if you’re looking to beautify your patio, add a retaining wall, or put in artificial turf.

Had a large 3 car driveway, a single car, patio and walkways done. The best service, Crew was wonderful. They asked me if I liked it… I love it. They were excellent. Everyone comments on how the pavers change the whole look of our house. THANK YOU for making it an easy and happy process. Your an A++++ operation. Can’t wait to do the back yard.

We just finished our backyard using mostly pavers & some turf. Genesis did an amazing job from start to finish! Verva visited us multiple times to help with the design and layout and went above & beyond to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. Ben and his crew were here everyday from early morning till late afternoon working diligently and we couldn’t be happier with our new yard!

I am updating my review of Genesis Stoneworks. It was explained to me that the reason their service was so slow was because of the amount of work they have right now. Ok. However, the communication with this company could improve. They showed up with pavers with no warning. However their saving grace was Jorge and his crew. They were friendly, courteous, and efficient. They did an excellent job on my patio. I am now very happy with the results.

Very disappointed service. As soon as we called for estimate, sales person showed up right away and kept calling and contacting us every day and night to let us sign the contract and make a deposit. We made a decision to sign the contract even they were more expensive than others because of their positive and aggressive attitude. Before we signed the contract, the sales lady said they will start working in 4−5wks and someone would call me to let us know for the starting date which never happened. Also it was very hard to contact with Genesis after I signed the contract. After 4 and half week that we signed the contract we were finally able to get in touch with sales person and she said they gave us too cheap estimates for every work that we wanted so they won’t do the work and even they decide to do the work it would be after 4 months from now?! What? Very bad service and no manners! Would NOT recommend this company to anyone! NEVER!

I contracted GS through Home Depot. I got a very competitive quote and my contract was signed within a few days after walking my property. My job included demoing tiles, walls and landscaping. Due to the California drought I decided to go with all hardscape. The crew was very good and took care of every little issue I raised asap.
Entire job took about 2 weeks and this included new pavers, retaining wall l, artificial lawn and river rocks. Check out the pics!

I had pavers and artificial turf installed by Genesis and I was very pleased with the experience. The installation was very fast and they did a great job. I would recommend Genesis to others looking for quality backyard landscaping!

Last week took out 825 Sq ft of grass and replaced it with pavers and a fire pit. We also had a fountain repaired. Roger the sales person and Luis the project supervisor were professional and very informative. Roger helped us on the design to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted. Luis kept us updated on the project and made sure the yard was cleaned up each evening. The crew did an excellent job and the results are outstanding! We enjoy our new entertainment area! We purchased a new home and hired Genesis Stoneworks to install a paver patio, patio cover, seat wall, artificial turf, plants/​trees, and outdoor lighting. From beginning to end, Genesis was a delight to work with and we couldn’t be more pleased with the final result. The president Roger Goodman came out personally to give us a quote, and was very helpful and responsive when we had followup questions. We had a good feeling about his company from the beginning because he was very confident about his product, gave a very competitive quote, and didn’t try and sell us anything we didn’t ask for. He showed us samples of everything we picked, and was very patient as we changed our minds a few times on some details. When the crew came to do the work, they were very efficient, and made sure to confirm details with us when they had questions. The end result is exactly how we envisioned it, and we would highly recommend Genesis to anyone.

LOVE MY PAVERS! I have been getting quotes from various contractors to do the pavers for my backyard. I finally chose to go with Genesis Stoneworks because they had lots of experience and have done a lot of paver work. I am so happy I chose to go with them. My backyard looks incredible and I love the pavers. My yard looks much bigger and just so clean. Perfect to have bbq and entertain. They showed up everyday on time and ready to work. Very hard workers and finished the project on time and as promised. I can’t say enough about them and I highly recommend using this company.

Our backyard was an eyesore and a long overdue project. We had an event coming up fast. We needed help. My wife and I poured concrete and created a small patio DIY and it turned out ok but my back was nearly broken and I was exhausted. It was time to call in the pro’s.
We hired Genesis Stoneworks and THEY WERE AWESOME! From start to finish they were a machine. They were in and out and on their way well before the timeline we agreed to and under budget.
We made some modifications to the original plan and thanks to the foreman’s insight he added some steps that we had completely left out of the design and those steps have become one of my favorite elements to the layout. We had absolutely no idea what to do with the back yard but our designer/​rep talked us through some possible options and provided excellent guidance on selecting stone, pavers, flowers, trees you name it.
The design came together quickly and as did the actual project which we had completed well before before the engagement party we were throwing for my Sister-​in-​Law. The crew worked hard & efficiently and identified issues and corrections quickly under the foreman and designer’s supervision. When there was a challenge (there are always challenges in any home improvement/​construction project) the foreman would come find me or my wife and explain what it was and what our options were and he would take care of it.
The outcome was fabulous and left me thinking man we should have tackled the project years earlier. Genesis made the experience better than we ever could have possibly imagined and we love our backyard now!

Had a wonderful experience with Genesis Stoneworks! They quoted me in November and when I called them in January, Roger (the President!!!) remembered me and my street name! Then he came back out and we confirmed all of the details.
They were here within 1 week (I wanted to finish before my hubby came home as a surprise) and finished my (admittedly) small job, of a portion of my drive way and a small wall around my front yard, in 3 days.
Originally, I had asked them to throw the dirt they shoveled up from the driveway onto the lawn as I intended to use it to level out the yard. When I went out to see the final product they had leveled the dirt to the wall for me! It was awesome! If I could post pictures, I would!
The only small hiccup I had was on the second day they were about 1.5 hours late. But, when I asked why, they’d had to go pick up the base and sand. Not a big deal except I was up waiting for them.
Avil and his assistant were wonderful workers and moved and worked quickly! The end result is BEAUTIFUL!!!

I had a vision of how I wanted my back yard to look and Genesis Stoneworks made that vision a reality. I met with other paving contractors, but there was simply no comparison to the feeling of confidence and caring that I felt from Roger Goodman, President of Genesis Stoneworks.
The crew, led by Mark Panepinto was wonderful and did an amazing job. They were always here on time and once the job was started they worked with no interruptions until it was completed. The result is beautiful.
Genesis Stoneworks installed pavers creating wonderful patio areas while leveling the entire space and making all adjustments necessary to any existing drains, lighting, etc.
Once the pavers were installed they did an equally attentive job installing new sod.
Genesis Stoneworks quotes the entire job… no surprises during or after completion.
I can only sing praises to the quality of the work and the integrity of the company.

We basically remodeled our entire backyard. We had pavers installed, artificial grass and our pool resurfaced by Genesis Stoneworks. The process was pretty quick and painless considering all that was done. There were very specific crews for each part of the job. The paver and grass crew were very efficient and neat (cleaned up each night). They were also super friendly and courteous. The tile and stone crew was also impressive and very meticulous with the install process. The foreman took care to listen to what we wanted and had no problem altering the design (at our request) when we realized something could be done better than we originally planned. Pricing was very competitive as well. We would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future (hopefully for our driveway someday :)

Very Happy with our interlocking pavers and the fast and excellent job they did. After having problems finding a reliable contractor to do our driveway we were really pleased to have these guys come out and do the job quickly with no problem. They provided a great warranty and were priced way better than Systems Pavers and didnt do the hard sell because they knew what they were talking about. Highly recommend.

I wasted 3 weeks with this company and I might have to sue them for my down payment. A guy named «Brad» came to my home and negotiated a deal and told me it would take 3 weeks to get inventory. 3 weeks later, a guy named «Fernando «shows up UNANNOUNCED from Genesis looking to see the scope of the work. After a month from giving a deposit of $ 450 for a $ 4500 job, the original salesman «Brad» calls and claims they now want an extra $ 1k to start the job. I called Brads boss «Roger Goodman» and explained that it was not good business practice to renegotiate prices a month later and it was also very unprofessional to send a guy to my home without a scheduled appointment. Roger said he simply couldn’t afford to do the job in the way his salesman «Brad» wrote the order. I WOULD NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY UNETHICAL, and they wasted 3 weeks of my time playing games.
