These guys are 100% professional. I didn’t get to use their photography services, but I had a very difficult situation they handled with utmost grace and professionalism. Chris is as good and trustworthy as they come.
Also, I’m not sure why they have so few reviews on Unilocal.They have tons of reviews on wedding sites.

My husband and I loved using Chris and Andrea for our wedding. We also used them for engagement photos (for awkward phototakers, I recommend this). We really liked how they can direct you and make someone whose uncomfortable taking photos more photogenic. I really liked how they worked as a team at the wedding. They cover more ground as a team and they both have different perspectives, which make for more well rounded photos. They also have more of an outside of the box editing and lighting then other photographers, which is why we chose them for our special day. On top of all of that, they are such nice, good people. We really enjoyed our time with them.

Now that the stress of planning a wedding is a thing of the past I have some time to reflect on how our wedding went and our different vendors. Chris was an awesome choice for a photographer and I have no regrets in hiring him for our event!
Wedding photography is one of the most expensive vendors you have to hire for a wedding but everyone says do not skimp on this and I think this is true! Pictures are one if not the only lasting product you have after your wedding!
I spoke to a few different photographers in Southern California and in Northern California (We got married in Livermore) and what Chris has to offer is definitely in line if not a better deal than what I got from other photographers. Not only that, just from speaking to him on the phone I got a good vibe from him and didn’t feel awkward. Who wants to have an awkward conversation with someone and expect to feel comfortable taking natural «posed» pictures after?
We shot our engagement photos around Redondo Beach and at my local gym at the time in Torrance. CrossFit/​weightlifting is a HUGE part of our lives so Chris was sure to capture that even though he said it was the first shoot he had done of it’s kind!
Our wedding day went smoothly and he took a ton of fun and great pictures. Our wedding fell on the weekend of the shooting at LAX, which some of our guests and Chris were supposed to fly out of and he still managed to make it prompt and on time to our rehearsal even though he had to drive instead of flying on Friday morning!
I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Not just if you’re getting married in California but anywhere really since his specialty is destination weddings. You will not be disappointed!

I know it’s hard to look for the right photographer for your wedding (trust me, I know I just went through it) so let me do you a solid… hire Chris Schmitt and cross that off your wedding list.
Yes, he’s on the pricey side but he’s WORTH IT! It’s definitely something you don’t want to skimp on! It’s like buying condoms at the 99cent store. Is that really the area you want to be cheap at? I didn’t think so! It’s the same with photography when it comes to your wedding. Your wedding is an epic event of your life and it should be documented properly. After all, these are the pictures you will cherish forever.
We knew we picked the right photographer when Chris did our engagement pictures a few months before the wedding. He was very professional and personable. He gave good instructions/​directions on how to pose (when we needed it) so we didn’t look awkward (

). The engagement pictures came out AWESOME so we’re even more excited for the wedding pics.
The day of our wedding we had two photographers. Chris works with his wife so she was the 2^nd shooter and spent most of the day with me. She was just as talented and friendly as Chris but prettier. The epitome of the dynamic duo!
