Monterey Mirror Maze

We used the Groupon which made this experience worth it. Lots of fun for adults and kiddos! I would not have paid full price, but at a discount it’s terrific! I gave it 4 stars because without the Groupon discount the price is a little steep for my pocketbook.

I had a difficult time in this maze. I was disoriented and needed my daughter’s help to get thru it. Too much strobe lighting and the lights went on and off too much to be fun. It made us both physically sick to our stomachs which lasted a few hours after we left. The staff were okay until we gave them some feedback and then they became rude to us. It was also too much to pay at $ 12.00 each. I would recommend doing anything else instead of this maze!

Horrible customer service brought the kids and got yelled by this women that looks like its Halloween everyday black hair bangs rude lady and gave me some random looks they rushed our family we came from up north so the experience was OK expect for this particular place with rude employees I would not bring my kids! And its dirty clean up the place!

Did the mirror maze and mini golf and lazer maze.
The maze was fun, the mini golf was a little weak and the lazer game was pretty weak.
Had it not been almost $ 60 for the 3 of us to do it all i would have given them another star. The maze was funny as i tried to find my kids but after 4 – 5 times, i was getting bored. The mini golf was pretty sad but the combination of the three was entertaining for an hour or two. We could have gone back later in the day but the kids didn’t really care so that told me all i needed.

$ 12 for each of us. I hadn’t been in a mirror maze in years and thought this might be sorta fun.
It was. Too bad it took us less than 5 minutes. It’s very small. Really a little disappointing. I was hoping to get a little lost in the maze but it never happened.
I would have given them a rating of 2 but the $ 12 lets you go through as many times as you want. We only went once.
If you have very young kids they’d probably enjoy it.

The Monterey Mirror Maze is a very fun and exciting place for families. The staff there are very flexible and kind. If you want to find a fun, family friendly place, then go to the Monterey Mirror Maze.

We had very low expectations and a whole lotta fun! We even went back for a second night. First night we played glow in the dark mini-​golf and skee-​ball. The mini-​golf includes black lights and 3-​D glasses. My kids are 11 and 14 years old so it was hilarious to play golf without depth perspective. On the second night, we went before and after our dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant since the wait was so long. I nearly my pants laughing so hard in the mirror maze as I ditched the kids and they’d try to find me, while I lost myself in there. We did the mini-​golf again and the Lazer challenge. The lazer challenge offers a timed attempt to cross a room while dodging Lazer beams like a cat-​buglar. Outside, viewers can watch participants on a video screen which is quite funny. It made for a great evening of fun after the aquarium so we will add it to our annual trip tradition for sure.

Fun for about 2 minutes. Then it got a little old. Definitely not worth it for the price, especially if you have a large family. I guess it’s OK to do once, but I wouldn’t ever do it again!

A little pricey for a quick walk-​through of the mirror maze. My daughter (age 10) freaked out and couldn’t find her way out. The staff was very kind and cordial and helped her come out safely. I was glad to have a parent bench to rest on while she was in the maze.

This place is pretty cool. We saw this on Groupon a few weeks ago so we thought we try it with 3 adults and 4 kids (age range 7 – 14). They give you added paper funky glasses to enhance your mirror maze experience. We also did the 3D glow in the dark miniature golf. The course is only 9 holes. The family had a great time. They also have a game room with video games that are pretty pricey to play $ 1−2bucks. Overall, the place is clean, updated and fun if you’re in the area with children.

Entertaining to a degree. Could be scary for younger kids as its very disorienting and dark. Lights shut off intermittently and the music is very loud.
Also, I didn’t quite understand the mannequins in the glass throughout the maze… some looked to be in German police uniforms, then there was the woman in black spandex holding a whip and two men in ski masks… along with the random male recording of «Uuuuuh… help me!» Hard to tell exactly what I was looking at because of the strobe lights and trying to keep an eye on my seven year old, but I wasn’t thrilled.
Do it once, maybe, if you’re OK with paying a premium for a 3 – 5 minute maze.

My Daughter LOVES this place! It offers 3 distinct experiences:
1) A Glow in the Dark miniature golf course that uses different California landmarks and highways as its theme. You also have the added psychedelic bonus option to use 3D glasses, which is great for the kids, but not so much for the visually challenged.
2) A Mirror Maze with neon décor, music that ranges from Austin Powers psychedelia to modern. Again, my kid ditches me as soon as possible and whizzes through like a pro, while I am left bumbling around in confusion. It’s a great maze though and you can go through as many times as you want. 3D glasses are also offered. They seem to really like this.
3) the last experience is my favorite: the Laser Challenge! You and a partner enter a dark room (choosing beginner to expert level) and instantly you are in a Mission Impossible laser dodging race to disable the lasers by hitting buttons on the wall. It’s rare you can bob, weave, crawl on your belly and roll, and still call yourself a respectable adult, but this really brings out the kid spy in you and we all love it!
Bravo for this place! The staff is always friendly and fun. Thumbs way up!

For a good time.. . Stop by this mirror maze. Not just for kids.
Childish? I think not! I stopped by a few years ago and it took myself & 2 friends about an hour to get out of this ridiculous (in a good way) maze.
I recently returned & Not what you expect at all, tons of FUN. I say go in a group of 3 – 6 people, if youre 21+ &drink have one before entering & good luck finding your way out! This time it only took about 5 minutes but you can go back in as many times as you like & then go in the opposite direction (took us 2 minutes). Plus I ran into a mirror thinking I made it to the exit a little too soon!

It’s a must every time I’m in the area, I always force a handful of my friends/​family to come with and they end up having an incredible time! No complaints ever.
They also have a lazer vault? I have yet to try & the glow/​black light mini golf next door looks SWEET. I’ll be sure to stop by next time I return.

Watch out for mannequins but most importantly, take an Advil for the headache you will endure from this adventure inside this maze; the lighting, the blasting music, and almost running into yourself will definitely make you wonder why haven’t you discovered this place even sooner?
It was a day date w/​both of my kids.
The maze is not difficult but I must admit, I had a hard time a few times.
The laser run *Mission Impossible* obstacle course was fun.
Staff were friendly as hell.
I’d go again but make sure you take Advil first!

This was fun for our entire family. Boys ages 13, 14 & 16 loved the mirror maze, laser challenge and mini-​golf. They played in the arcade & got Monterey souvenirs with the game tickets. Great way to let them blow off some steam and get out of the cold for a while.

I’ve done mirror mazes before but not with the glasses, and this was an absolutely amazing experience! My family and I were in Monterey celebrating my mother’s 70^th birthday and we decided to come to Cannery Row to see the Aquarium, get lunch and shop. The gentleman that works there was trying to solicit customers and we decided to go ahead and give it a try! It was $ 12 per person and that gives you all day admission into the mirror maze. We also purchased some tokens for the lazer challenge ($ 3 for 3 if you also do the maze. Not sure of the normal price. You have to buy in sets of 3). Now, the mirror maze was kind of short but you can make it longer with more people because it’s so fun. We took my two year old daughter and she walked into the mirror a few times, falling onto her butt. We were all having such a fun time, laughing and walking into each other and the mirrors! You can see where you’re going if you don’t have the glasses on, but the glasses make it really trippy and fun!
We had so much fun doing the maze that we decided to do the laser challenge, and we are so glad we did! There are different levels of difficulty to choose from. I think they are all pretty difficult hahaha! You go into a dark room and you have to hit buttons on the wall by walking through lazers and not touching them.
The guy who worked there was also very outgoing and enthusiastic with a friendly attitude! We left our shopping bag in there by accident, and didn’t realize until about 30 minutes later. We went back to get it and the guy had the bag behind the counter for us, keeping it safe :)
Overall, it might be a tad bit pricey but it is such a fun experience!

I visited canner row and I came across the Monterey Mirror Maze. Kiki, the employee was extremely friendly/​welcoming. I had a blast playing the lazer tag challenge, mirror maze and miniature golf. I would recommend anyone to go. It’s a great place to bring out the inner child in you.

My group of 8 middle schoolers had a ball here! The staff was super helpful and nice! Between the mirror maze, golf and laser there is something for everyone! Really cute set up and design!

Super fun place! Although the venue is small it seems pretty large. Fun for both kids & adults regardless of age. MUST SEE/​GO.

What an idea, throw some mirrors up– flash the lights, blast some music, and you’ll get 12 $ a head.
