Biggest Honey Boba location ever! They have lots of booths and bar style tables which makes it great for large groups! My honey boba today was a little too soft and seemed over cooked. Maybe it was an off day? But my milk tea drink was up to the Honey Boba standard! I don’t expect great service, since many of these boba shops employ teenagers. All I care about is that they get my drink orders correct with a smile on their face. Parking here might be a problem because it’s shared with a gym and sandwich shop.

This is the newest Boba spot in the hood. I’ve had Honeyboba before so I was happy to see one open up here. They face stiff competition from Half n Half, Tea Brick, Ten Ren and many others in the MPK area. It is inside the same plaza at LA Fitness so there is a good amount of parking. The location is huge as they have both indoor and outdoor seating. They offer free wifi but I don’t know why there aren’t any power outlets. I guess they don’t want customers staying that long? The drinks here are solid and I feel like its a bit cheaper than other spots. If you whisper«Best Boba Alive» you get 15% off(Not sure when the promotion ends). I wish they served food as there are so many booths and tables. Get power outlets too!

This location is really nice. I ordered the iced strawberry milk tea. I thought they used way too much strawberry sweeteners and it tasted like liquid strawberry flavored yan-yans. The drink although, oversweet was delicious. When I got home and looked at their take home brochure I actually see that I could have adjusted the sweetness level. Next time I will ask for half the sweeteners! I look forward to coming back.

Finally! After waiting months for this place to open, Honeyboba finally opened for business! To be honest, I heard of Honeyboba for years but never tried it. There just wasn’t a location that close to me whenever I had the yen for tea based drinks. Since their opening, I have been there many times. Honeyboba is different from other boba places in that they decorate a bit fancier than others. I was taken aback by the chandeliers inside of shop. I like that they accept credit card, no minimum. There are no stamp cards, by the way. Their drink sizes are the same as Half and Half & prices are comparable, though a bit pricier than H&H My favorite is the vanilla caramel milk tea, half sweet, with honey boba and egg pudding. Perfect amount of sweetness for a dessert =) For something to quench my thirst, I get the grapefruit green tea with no sugar. However, if I could make a suggestion, it would be that the boba needs to be cooked longer. For a place called Honeyboba, the boba is not sweetened and soft enough. However, I am hoping this is because this location just opened, with time, I hope they perfect their boba. Overall, so glad this place opened and I frequent it whenever I get a craving.

They’re finally opened! Their décor is so pretty and they really decked out this place. So tonight my boyfriend and I got the boba milk tea and passion fruit iced tea with aloe. The milk tea is great but the boba was a bit too hard. The passion fruit iced tea was really sweet that it gave me a headache. I let the ice melted a bit so it can helps dilute the sweetness. It wasn’t too bad but next time I guess I’ll get less sugar on my passion fruit iced tea. We usually go to the one in Rosemead and they always take so long to get the order ready. But even with so many people ordering, the staff made ours(and others) pretty quickly.

Hello Potential Customer, This place has a nice interior setting and does well in the sanitation department. Straight to the commentaries for the drinks(normal sweetness for all) we got: Green Apple Slush: After 5 mins, the contents started to split between water and powder. Pineapple Yogurt Lush: Tastes exactly like blended Vanilla Pineapple Yoplait. Not kidding. To prove a point, my mother actually blended Yoplait, honey, and ice. For those who likes Yoplait and wants the convenience, come here. Mocha Cappuccino Smoothie: Didn’t taste any Mocha flavoring. The drink tasted like ONESHOT of diluted Folger Coffee blended in water and ice. Honeydew Smoothie: By far, this drink tasted better than the other three, but still subpar compare to other Boba places. This is all IMOs and based on third experience. The milk teas from the first two experiences tasted slightly below average. It could be the people making the drinks were new or there were insufficient ingredients to make the drinks. They try to be accommodating with the different options of sweetness. Service is fast and hassle-free.

DRINKS: I remember my first(and last) time at the Arcadia location was not good. Drink didn’t taste good unless you love the syrup-y stuff. This time was the same. Maybe Honeyboba has their standard recipe but they need to give the sweetness option. At least it wasn’t watery.(–1 for the syrup) FORSTUDYING: Like the previous reviews said, it’s very spacious and décor is nice so I figured I’d go there to study. No outlets but good if your electronics are fully charged or if you don’t need any of that to study. Wifi does not work and the music is SOLOUD(–1!!!). If they can fix this, I would come back…

This is a really nice location with spacious indoor seating and outdoor seating. The décor specifically the chandeliers are gorgeous attraction. Another plus is the ordering system following an assembly type of deal where u walk down to another spacious area to pick up ur drink. The bathrooms are also really nice. Despite the vacant locks theres two stalls. Be warned of the stall locks tho theyre hard to lock and unlock. Drink-wise they have a lot of selections. Their base teas for the iced tea selections is black tea. I didnt look too closely if they have a flavor green tea selection. But regarding their paper menu its super tiny. I’m all for saving paper but man that’s super tiny. It can get overwhelming. I recommend if u want something less sweet then go for the iced tea selections and if ur looking for something on the sweeter and more creative side try their exotic combinations of milk teas. Theyre pretty fun mixes. I hope this place continues to stay this level of quality. Oh but their biggest downfall is no outlets :(

This honey boba hands down dominants the rest of the other locations ! I didn’t expect much from this place but when you walk in it’s amazing how you can call this beautiful place a tea house. I’m in love. Indoor and outdoor sitting. Very clean and nice interior. They have big prefect studying big tables !!

This location is like 3 times bigger than the one in Arcadia. I was hoping that I would love this location and make it my new study spot, but half way through it was just WAAY too loud. Normally the noise level doesn’t bother me, but their music was blasting even through my bose noise cancelation headphones. Even after asking the employees to turn down the volume multiple times, I still find myself shouting to my friend to communicate. We just left afterwards because the atmosphere was not tolerable. Drinks are pretty standard. I love how fresh milk can be an option because I hate drinking my tea with creamer. The price is pretty fair too. Maybe I would come back to grab a drink togo, but this place definitely isn’t somewhere where I would want to stay and chill or study at.

Boba was good but bad attitude! I said my order twice but when they brought it out, one thing was missing. So I asked them about it and they responded with ATTITUDE«that’s not what u ordered». WTF! Your music is too damn loud that your staff can’t hear me. If you made a mistake, change it; even if the customer made a mistake(which I didn’t), change it! You just opened your doors for business; it’s too early to be a boba nazi! I can just go to half and half down the street. It’s all about Customer service, in the restaurant business. Management needs to step up and talk to your employees. Otherwise I would have gladly given u guys 5 stars.

Cashiers are nice, yummy tea, and fast! Their boba is just okay but the pudding is good I recommend their earl grey tea but half sugar :) It’s the perfect amount of sweetness and you can really taste the tea flavor! Plenty of parking in the plaza, the cups are pretty big, and it’s reasonably priced!

This location is huge, confusingly huge. I’ve honestly never seen any boba shop with enough traffic to justify a location this large and fancy… maybe Half and Half? But even then why cut into your profits? Maybe if they eventually offer a food menu it would make more sense. Any ways, the drinks at Honeyboba are consistently good. The boba is nice and soft and the menu is extensive. You can find a lot of different flavors of tea and milk teas here. They charge 3.29 for the regular size which is probably a better value than most places since they use the bigger half and half style cups. The décor is hip and upscale and seems more like a bar/lounge than a boba place. It’s definitely keeping up with the current trend of having fancier boba places where people stay and hang out rather than just order to go like the OG lollicups and quicklys.

They’re finally open! I have been eyeing this place for a while and when I saw reviews on their Unilocal page, I had to go! This Honeyboba is located on Atlantic Blvd in the same plaza as Mr. Baguette and LA Fitness. The place has modern décor with fancy chandeliers and a lot of seating available. The menu is very extensive, they have a lot of different flavored teas, milk teas, smoothies, and more! The ice crystal drinks sound interesting too, will try them next time. So far, I’ve tried the Earl Grey, Jasmine Green, Rose, and Strawberry Milk Tea and they were all good! Base cost for the drinks are $ 3.29 and the regular drink size is already a good amount. So far, so good! I’m glad another boba joint opened up close by for us to switch between. I’ll be back soon!

The long awaited opening of this location is finally upon us… I have been here 3 times so far. I love the huge selection of tea’s, smoothies, and slushes. I of course love ordering from the Frosted Signature Milky section too! Their boba is so soft and tasty. The staff have been really nice and helpful each time. I highly recommended this place. The place is beautifully decorated and spacious. A huge plus due to the fact that they are NOT cash only… thank goodness!

Hello my Unilocalies, Who likes boba? Me me me me… Who likes boba me me me me! Haha finally this place is opened. I work right across the street and have seen their sign for months and finally they are now opened! Parking here isn’t too much of a hassle because it is located inside a small plaza which is shared with other small stores. So don’t worry about finding parking. They have the most majestic decoration, the place is beautiful with crystals lights. If any of you have a chance to stop by definitely go down and enjoy a cup of boba drink while admiring their beautiful decoration. Thanks to my co-worker for buying it for everyone at the office. I order the Signature Milky with Honey Boba and Taro Pudding($ 3.79 +Tax), My co-workers got Vanilla smoothie with boba($ 3.79 + boba 0.49 cents+ Tax), you can easily upgrade to a large for only 0.49 cents for those who are wondering. Their Signature Milky was actually better than I thought(Very very similar to half&half’s ice milk drink but better), their milk wasn’t too sweet and I even got it as regular sweet. I was actually a little scared because I thought it might be too sweet because I forgot to ask for less sugar but good thing it came out perfect. The boba wasn’t too hard unlike some places where it seems like their boba was from the day before, and it also had the perfect sweetness, as for the taro pudding, OHYES!!! if you like taro like me then you will definitely like theirs. I have to say this place is definitely better than half&half, they have better service, better drinks, the size are pretty much identical, if they got your order wrong you can exchange it, there’s no line and the best part they take CARD!!! I am just extremely grateful to have such a delicious boba place near my work, now I don’t have to stress about waiting in line, or bringing cash at half&half anymore. Overall, 5 stars for service, 4 stars for drinks/food, 5 stars for environment and decoration and 5 stars for cleanliness. Will be coming back here very very soon.

YES I’m so glad they have one now in Monterey Park! The extra 10 minutes saved from not driving to Arcadia matters to me because I live in Burbank(yes I drive 20 minutes just to get boba) so I’m glad I can grab Honeyboba somewhat regularly now lol. This location looks awesome! Fancy chandeliers and lots of space inside. Their drinks are great too, comparable to Half&Half in my opinion. Their milk tea seems to lean a little more on the sweet & frothy side(not much of the bitter tea taste) but you can adjust the sweetness. But the boba texture is amazing! I actually think their boba retains the chewiness longer than H&H’s boba and is a lot fresher! I expect that there will definitely be good competition between the two boba spots now that they are so close to each other. They take credit cards too so that’s another plus! And there actually is more parking than it appears. I think we are allowed to park in the underground garage if the top level becomes crowded. Give it a try!

I’ve been waiting for months for this HoneyBoba to open since seeing their sign go up. It seemed like they would never open, but the day finally came and I was able to come on opening day! I was glad that the line was not long. The décor was pretty nice and schnazzy with fancy chandeliers included. They have comfy looking booths with nice high backs for privacy and a huge faux marble finish looking table in the center. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The wait time was a little longer than I expected for such a short line so I took a star off for that, but hopefully it’ll speed up in the future once the boba gets rollin’. I ordered a earl grey black milk tea with honey boba large(always large) and it was verty good and on point. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Oh HoneyBoba, I’ve waited for you for months. Finally, you’re open, I thought it would be a great way to end a long MLK weekend. I wasn’t too wrong. The drinks were yummy. There was no line to speak of, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I can’t say the same for some other places around town. Drinks…drinks are still yummy. Got the almond milk coffee tea w/boba, ½ sweet and almond milk tea with egg pudding, regular sweet(for the significant other). My drink was just right, the honey boba was soft and a bit warm still. Kudos for freshness. The SO’s drink was a bit too sweet for my tastes, but he liked it. I think the egg pudding was the sweetest component. Parking…it wasn’t too good. If you take into account that the parking lot is shared with LA Fitness &NBC there’s plenty of parking. But the small parking area right outside the HoneyBoba was full even though there were hardly any customers and only 2 other stores(vitamin store & Mr. Baguette) were open. I would not want to see what happens when the place is full. Décor…its like The Cosmopolitan Hotel meets a boba joint. Lots of chandeliers hanging down. Maybe the owners thought that they had to fill up the vertical space. Also the place had the signature yellow seating. Seating was good, large booths and various sized tables for a variety of party sizes. There was an outdoor seating/smoking area. I saw a few people there but it seems really dark. Besides, who wants to sit next to Atlantic Blvd. & watch cars speed by? Temperature…why do you have the heat on blast? It was so uncomfortable that I had to move to another area to wait for my drinks. I had to move twice! How are people supposed to study or hang out there if its that hot? Music…pretty loud but standard for such places. Guess I’m old now. Overall, an ok start to a new business. We’ll see if it improves in the near future. I was told that they would take phone orders in the future, as soon as they get a phone line. Hopefully that’s soon. My visit was a bit anti-climatic after the wait for HoneyBoba to open. I’ll be back, but only during non-peak hours.
