I was hoping to be blown away by the assortment and taste, but I wasn’t. There is a $ 10 cc minimum so I was walking in circles trying to find stuff to buy. Luckily, I found a few dollars so I just picked up a slice of white cake and a cheese pastry. I’m a sweets gal and it just didn’t do it for me. I originally thought this place was a bakery and crab spot, but they have since changed the name from«Momo Crab House and Bakery» to «Momo Bistro and Bakery». Baked goods and crab is a weird combination anyway :) Although, I wasn’t blown away I will be back to try something from the«Bistro». Hopefully it’ll make me edit my review!

I had the egg tarts here and it was pretty good. I think it was 99 cents each. They had some sort of seafood restaurant attached to the bakery when they first opened but now it’s a Chinese place or something. I haven’t tried it but the bakery’s pretty good if you don’t wan to drive to Arcadia.

The restaurant portion of the bakery is open again! It had a separate(new) menu and different hours. Have not tried yet but I’ve attached the menu.

Great green tea roll and lemon roll. A small operation but they have a good selection. Taro bun was also great.

(The review below was originally written for Our House, a restaurant located inside of Momo Bistro & Bakery. A new business was created for them because they have different business hours, but Unilocal decided to merge everything together, pictures and all. A search for Our House turns up nothing. I also notified Unilocal several times the name is no longer Crab House, but the repeated response is we’ll do what we can confirm. Apparently, no one drove by or even called them to verify) The review: This recently opened Taiwanese eatery is actually located inside of Momo Bistro & Bakery(although Unilocal still listed as Momo Crab House & Bakery) The extensive menu consists of about 40 items under the lunch specials, rice plates, soup noodles, beef, lamb, chicken & duck dishes, the ever popular Taiwanese stinky tofu and numerous other offerings. They kept the same furniture and décor as when it first opened under the«crab house» name, but something definitely feels different about this place. Everyone is much nicer, more attentive and courteous. You can see who the owners are as they walk the restaurant section greeting guests, taking orders and asking if everything tastes alright. I ordered a cake from them a few days before their opening date of 10÷21÷15 and was encouraged to come back and try their lunch items. So we went for a quick bite. We ordered some lunch special items: 1) Soft bean curd w/snow cabbage # 13 @ $ 6.99: not the best we ever had, but still good. 2) Three delights #34 @ $ 7.99: chicken, shrimp & fish cooked into a sauce w/slices of mushroom, pretty tasty 3) Shredded pork w/bean curd #5 @ $ 6.99: I seem to order this a lot at various Chinese restaurants. The flavor is very good but seem to taste the same no matter where I go. Soup & rice are served w/the lunch specials. Unlike other places where the soup taste like salty water, Our House’s soup is good, and actually taste like it’s been simmering for hours. At the end of the meal, the owner brought us complimentary cubes of cake w/fruit on top. It’s because they’re new and wanted to welcome us, even though we’ve been going to the bakery section since opening day. Regardless, it was a nice touch. The portions aren’t exactly huge, but it was enough to fill us up and still have leftovers. We really enjoyed this place and see a lot of other items on the menu we’d like to try. Their friendly service, reasonable prices, tasty food and close proximity to my house will get me to go back again very soon. Notes: Lunch Special hours are from 11:30 to 3:00PM daily They close at 3:00 and reopen at 5:00 to 9:00PM for dinner Open 7 days a week Grab some carbs from the bakery on your way out. They also sell macarons too @ 12 for $ 10.99

I love coming here for breakfast. Not the healthiest, but I like to tell myself it’s not too bad if I don’t get a ton of food. My favorite is the croissant dogs, wish there was a higher ratio of hot dog to croissant though. My boyfriend likes the blueberry bagel things & their sandwich. I tried the grass jelly milk tea today. I like how sweet it is so it may not be for everyone, but they were a little skimpy on the grass jelly. Prices are very decent! Worth giving a try for anyone in the area.

This bakery is located inside the yi mei plaza. They are currently reorganizing their restaurant so for now only the bakery is open. Their bread selection is pretty small and I felt like you could get those breads at any other bakery as well. Nothing really stood out to me. What’s cool is that they sell strawberry and green tea kit kats in a huge bag for $ 5 each. They also have cakes and this thing called a cheese pop which I thought was cool. They have flavors in mango, original or chocolate. The lady said it was like eating cheese on a stick. I would have totally gotten it if I wasn’t so full. I ended up getting their mochi taro bread and it was bomb! The bread was fresh, the inside was chewy and very tasty. I would def get this again if I do come back. I love the sliced almonds on top; there was only very little but I wish there was more. They had a special on breads: buy 2 get 1 free!

The pastas are all really good here and their uni rice is amazing. Came here for lunch and it wasn’t too bad or expensive cause it was near my work. I also bought their fresh bread for breakfast. Their customer service isn’t bad at all, they were quick and attentive don’t understand why some people had complaints about it.

Cute little place to get your Taiwanese style bread with dried shredded pork and mayo smother on the bread. Or Combination of scallion and dried shredded pork in bread. If you are looking to fix your 85 degree fix and got one no where near you. This is the place that can fix your crave. Bread is good. I was hopping to try their lunch but apparently they are«reorganizing» and there’s no date as to when they will be reopen the dine in part.

This is a cute little place with an interesting name. Combining a bakery with seafood is a very interesting concept. However the food doesn’t seem to be very much seafood. The name suggests that there is seafood in it. I ordered the uni pasta and only 3 pieces of uni was on it. Even the sauce wasn’t made of uni like at other places I’ve had it. It did not taste bad though. My friend also had another seafood dish but the same thing it had a few pieces of shrimp. Service was really good as it seems like they are new. Also there were a lot of people being trained so they seem like they were extra nice. Would I come back? Maybe, if someone wanted to eat here but I myself would not choose to come back. And if someone suggested to eat here(for the seafood), I would suggest somewhere else that had seafood.

Came here to try their crab and they ran out! They should call this NoMo crab house. We tried 2 of the pastas, one of which was the squid ink pasta. They were ok. I’d probably stick to getting bread from here.

New Bakery located in the same plaza as Hong Kong Supermarket, specifically located right next to Yi Mei in one coner of this plaza with plenty of parking. I came by this bakery 2 times within the last week, once on a Sunday and once on a Tuesday(both in the afternoon). Both visits were not busy. On my first visit, my husband and I picked a handful of baked bread items to take home. Breads are pretty affordable and comparable to other Chinese bakeries around San Gabriel Valley(priced $ 1-$ 2.50 ish). My favorite baked item here is the delicious soft fluffy sponge cake that has a thin layer of raisins, all enclosed in a baked bread(so a cake within a bread). On my 2nd visit, I decided to make a to go order on the phone to take advantage of the 20% grand opening discount(unfortunately the discount ended on April 15). I ordered: #13 Squid Ink Spaghetti with Clams in White Wine Sauce, $ 15.99 prior to tax– Love the black squid ink pasta and was actually surprised to see that this dish came with a lot of clams. This dish is a little pricey, but also seem to be priced the same as other restaurants that serve this dish. The white wine sauce was point on. #16 Uni Pasta, $ 15.99 prior to tax– This dish was really creamy and really had that delicious uni flavor throughout each wonderful bite. But it is quite oily(leftovers especially), so definitely not heart healthy. I believe there was only 2 small little pieces of uni in this pasta dish, but I still enjoyed every bite. This dish may be a little bit pricey as well, but again, seems to be priced the same as other restaurants that serve this as well. When I made this order over the phone, I initially had one employee try to take my order. But she passed the phone over to someone else with better English, who was very friendly. She even gave me a call when my to go order was ready(which I was already only a few minutes away since I was already in the car driving to pick up my meals). As a previous review had mentioned that if you do not speak Chinese, you may have difficulty ordering. I did not face that problem at all. As I had interacted with 3 female employees, they all spoke English(not with a very heavy accent either). And I had no trouble on my previous visit here as well. And of course on this 2nd visit, I also picked up a few more baked goodies to take home as well. Baked goods from both visits were wonderful and will definitely plan on coming back here, even now with the 20% discount gone(at least for the breads, but maybe not for the restaurant). Especially with no other Chinese bakery in this area, I am happy this place opened up here. Lastly, just want to mention that there is a $ 10 minimum for credit card transactions.

The lamb is just right. Not too salty and not too light. You get to try this! However, they don’t have cocktail. Hopefully, I will see it next time.

$ 13 for sweet sour pork chop rice set, which comes with a house soup, 3 appetizers and a drink. Clam soup a bit salty. 3 Appetizer includes one mussel, one fried potato ball, and a few pieces of stir fried eggplants. Taste is nothing to write abt. Pork chop rice comes with 2 plain boiled shrimps. Rice is a bit hard n dry, most likely microwaved. Pork chop is dry as well, either overcooked or didn’t marinade/pound it enough. I was able to eat it had not been for the sweet sour onion garlic topping/sauce. And then I realized, where’s the minced pork on the rice and vegetables?! Drink is your choice of green or black tea. I had the black tea, similar to the ones serve at boiling point. Overall the food is below average esp with the hiked prices. The Taiwanese food here is no competition to sinbala or why thirsty. 2 stars

Double check your orders before leaving!!! I asked for two loafs of raisin toasts. When I got home, I found them to be two loafs of red bean toasts. Not really happy about it but I don’t want to bother going back and exchange it. At least the bread tastes ok, better then the toasts sold at the HK Market next door. Will give them a few more chances ’cause it’s the closest bakery to home.

It saddens me to have to write the SAME review for yet another Taiwanese bakery. Please read my review of JJ in Arcadia. I’m embarrassed by my Taiwanese heritage now thanks to these two dishonest bakeries. Like JJ, this place will«accidentally» charge you an extra bread or two when you buy many. Check your receipt at the cashier before you leave. Don’t let them cheat you!!! Taiwanese people are not cheaters, but these bakeries… tsk tsk tsk… Confront them!!! Get your money back!!! You have been warned.

It finally opens! We all tried $ 45 set for lunch. We got to choose two main dishes for each set. So much food. What a good deal! The staffs are super nice. Because it just opens, the slow service is expected. Hope it can improve soon. I will go back to try other dishes.
