The Classical Ballet School serving in Arcadia and Monrovia area. Access is very easy from Pasadena, San Gabriel, Covina or other cities in San Gabriel Valley. Based on Royal Academy of Dance from England. All class ratio is small to pay attention to all the students. The ballet teachers are all certified from the Royal Academy of Dance, and update their knowledge every year by attending workshops and courses which presented by RAD or other organizations for Dance Teachers. The owner has more than 20 years of teaching experience.

Ballet training is a fundamental training which helps all dance genres. Not only physical development, ballet training will enhance the brain development, and help to develop musicality, spatial awareness, expression, social skills and more. Ballet Kukan will offer Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and more.

History

Established in 2007.

Ballet Kukan Academy started in the center of Arcadia, and has been serving to the community of all around Arcadia. We moved to a new location in Monrovia in 2012, and keep serving to the community in more broad range.

Ballet Kukan Academy is based on Royal Academy of Dance from London, England. We serve the most reliable and certain method to all the children with less risk of injury.

Our mission is to help all the children to strengthen their physical attributes, musicality, and the emotional development through performing art.

Noriko M.

Business Owner

Ms. Noriko is a Certified teacher from Royal Academy of Dance, The National Ballet School, and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She studied in The National Ballet School in Toronto, Canada, which is said as one of the best 5 ballet training schools in the world. In this training, she studied all 3 major ballet syllabus, Cecchetti, Vaganova, and Royal Academy of Dance. On top of the syllabus work, she studied almost everything which would be necessary for the teacher to know; anatomy, music, history, child psychology, pedagogy, and so on. She also studied Europian Folk dance and became a certified teacher as well.

In Ballet Kukan Academy, we offer an internationally recognized ballet examination through RAD every year. The students will learn step by step with the least risk of injury and understanding of the steps which appropriate with the level.
