I had the honor to be treated by Dr. Tang at the Seattle King County Free clinic. He treated me with rare kindness. I usually have a very bad gag reflex but he angled me in such away this was not a problem. He approached filling my tooth as an artist painting a masterpiece. My tooth was very broken and some how Dr. Tang restored it into something beautiful. I usually avoid dentists out of fear they will make pain where it did not exist. Dr. Tang has restored my faith in the profession. If you are looking for a master dentist look no further then Dr. Tang.

Great dentist. Very clean and professional. The stag is really friendly and Dr. Tang creates a great treatment plan to help with your needs.

First off, I want to say that I cannot not recommend Dr. Tang enough. I have known Dr. Tang for many years as he is a family friend from Minnesota. My dad is an Orthodontist, so I have always been VERY particular about dental care, and have had a hard time finding a dentist in Seattle that measures up to my high standards. I know Dr. Tang because in Minnesota my dad referred many patient’s to him because of his great reputation for patient care and quality results. Several years ago I moved to Seattle, and I am so glad that Dr. Tang has made the move so now I have a dentist that I trust. I also suffer from TMJ pain, and Dr. Tang has provided such thorough care that I will recommend him to any of my friends who are in need of TMJ treatment, or simply a trustworthy dentist. I would not trust my jaw in anyone else’s hands!
My drive is about 45 minutes to his office, but to me it is WELL worth it! Thank you Dr. Tang for making the move out west.
As a bonus, his office is brand new-​no more bright overhead lights and cheesy ceiling art! For once, walking into the dentist’s office feels more like a treat and not a nightmare.

I am incredibly fortunate to have found The Smile Institute. The fear factor is gone. I would consider myself to be part of the 10% of people whose phobia is severe enough that I would put off visits until small problems became major issues. Dr. Tang and Shawna listened closely to my concerns and took time to talk about how we would approach the next visits and how I could be comfortable.
