Robinson’s BBQ and Stew

We would not recommend this place. Tip offs that should have had us turning around… Tip off 1: they had no one in there at all except us at 1:45 on a Saturday. Tip off 2: there was no BBQ smell wafting around the restaurant (in or outside). So we were starving & sat down to order. Server was pleasant & food was delivered quickly, but that is where the positives stopped. The chopped pork was cooked in a crockpot type manner. The stew was put in a blender & watery. The sauce was way too watery plus add the crockpot pork & my plate was just swimming in water. The Mac n cheese was bright yellow. BRIGHT YELLOW. I thought my eyes were adjusting from the sun, but I think they made theirs with more mustard & a lot of butter. Now, I make a mean homemade Mac n cheese with lots of butter so I’m totally down with butter, but this was over the top. I feel bed leaving a bad review because usually mine are very positive, but I really just can’t recommend it. My husband & kids were pretty disappointed.

This place is horrible!!! Don’t waste your time. There is better BBQ else where just keep driving.

Great food, nice personal touches like whole wheat buns and cinnamon sprinkled sweet potato fries.
