Teaching people of all ages how to drive and be safe. I teach 15 & up men & woman. Its very rewarding seeing my success when my students get a drivers license.

I have been teaching 22 years come September 2015. I’m the only driving school in Walton County. All my Instructors are Female and have been trained by me. So rest assured you will be getting the best training in driving skills. I’ve seen it all and taught it all.

Each day is new as every student is a different skill level. My job is never boring. I look forward to teaching every day. I love it. I do have whiplash that is painful more days than others depending on the driver.

I strive to make sure when you have completed lessons with me you are safe, confident and well aware how to handle all kinds of situations everyday driving puts you in.

History

Established in 1993.

I started this business in San Francisco Bay area in 1993 teaching my daughters, there friends and few senior citizens in the neighborhood.

One day I was at the Department of Motor Vehicles and one of the examiners asked me to teach her son and wanted to know how much I charged. Laughing I told her I barely get gas money from the parents or others. She told me it was a profession and I should take the State of California test and start charging money. I took the test, passed. I bought a car. The next step was to get the brake and gas pedal installed.

While I waited on my State License to be mailed to me. I started putting out the word I would now be charging for lessons.

Once I received my State License I started working and have been blessed with teaching people of all ages ever since. I feel truly honored to have people trust me with there teens and in many case there very own lives.

I believe this is my calling in life. I love my job. I have met some incredible people.

Ms. June’s Driving Lessons in Monroe builds confidence while teaching the necessary skills of driving. No matter the driver’s age or background, I offer students independence. I feel it is rewarding to have started a life of independence for someone.

I’m a native Georgian, who returned home from California with over fourteen years of teaching experience and i’ve been teaching in Monroe for five years. As a licensed instructor in California, I earned many awards from the Department of Safety for having the most students pass their driver’s license test with no errors. I continues to have a high passing rate today, stating that safety is a huge concern. I always say, Anyone can drive, but it doesn’t make them safe.

My cars have dual controls for safety — two brakes and two gas pedals, so I am in reach of the steering wheel at all times. Lessons include how to use and adjust mirrors, parking, lane changing, merging, judging distances, passing, uncontrolled lefts and much more.
