Automotive Velocity is a new alternative to the dreaded car shopping experience. No big store with lots of people (just waiting to jump you) or a huge lot with scores of cars and a fancy showroom. Just lower overhead and carefully chosen cars, so we can offer lower prices. No one running back and forth to the sales manager with your offer or a finance manager trying to sell you extra things that you don’t need. Just one person who works directly with you to make sure that you get the car that best suits your needs — paid for in a manner that best suits your budget. We make it simple to buy a car.

History

Established in 2011.

Automotive Velocity was started to give customers a way to get vehicles with tested reliability for a better price. The cars are carefully selected and then driven 500 miles to reveal any faults. Then all faults are repaired and the car is driven to ensure that it is 100%. We heard stories from customers about past used car purchases from large dealers. They invariably would tell us that the cars required repairs and maintenance within the first week or to of purchase. We designed our business to eliminate those unexpected repairs. Most of our cars come with a warranty and all of them have been driven, inspected and repaired prior to being advertised. We give better value for the dollar, hands down.

Business Owner

My entire professional life has been spent servicing and selling all brands of cars and trucks. Restoring my first car, a 1970 Dodge Challenger purchased in Wisconsin back in 1978, led to working in a tune-​up clinic and then managing it. From there I spent time as a service writer, service manager, sales manager and general manager of several dealerships. In other words, I’m a guy who is fanatical about cars and knows them inside and out. When you come to my store you will see not only my two vintage cars I am in the process of restoring, but a complete machine shop as well.

Based on my 34 years of automotive experience, I believe that there is a better, more customer-​friendly way to sell cars. I have designed Automotive Velocity with the idea in mind of streamlining the whole process. From choosing only the most desirable and sound cars, to marketing without fancy ads, I aim to give you good value for your money and take a lot of the stress out of buying your next car.
