Lou is an excellent teacher and is one of the few BJJ instructors in the area who has also competed in MMA so you know his technique has been really tested.
He is very good at showing you how to adapt techniques to your physical build and skill set, and is able to help each student work towards their own personal goals (whether they be basic fitness, BJJ competition or even MMA fights). He has a great grasp of both old school foundational techniques as well as the newer techniques and theories in this ever-​evolving art.
This place has great comradery, very good pricing and a great atmosphere. You can’t ask for much more than that!
