Bar None Lounge

cheap and crummy food. TERRIBLE service. waiting 15 minutes till a server came over. we were the only table seated and trying to eat. bar was packed by 6pm with tons of loud, smoking drunks (though we knew going in but we had heard good things about the food – i’d like to have a chat with those people). when we were finally approached by a server who took a drink order, we didn’t see her for another 10 minutes. she wrote every dinner order down but forget almost everything. at one point she came back and said we’re out of onions (re philly steaks, how do you serve a philly steak with no grilled or sauteed onions). ended up coming back and said we have onions but not cooked. DUHHH. it irritated me that i had to say tell the cook to throw some on the grill or in a pan. i asked for well done veggies (pepper mushrooom onion). i got crunchy green peppers and onions that might as well have been raw and i despite raw onions, all with no mushrooms at all. the bread was hoagie or sausage rolls, neither crusty or grilled. BIG TIME LOSER SANDWICH for me. my mom was disappointed in hers too.
2 people got friday fish and said it was good, one breaded, one batter dipped, but realize these guys will eat anything. 1 person got a blt that came on barely toasted bread. she waited 15 minutes for her mayo. i had to ask 4 times for a side of ranch and twice for lettuce and tomato. the mac and cheese looked like soup – mushy as all h3!!. whole wings where severely undercooked, they were so white they looked blanched. the server actually stood there, held the $ ⁴⁵⁄₅ people check i my mom’s face (practically) while she was getting money out of her bag, and waited for her to pay, like 1 middle aged and 4 older people were going to grease and breeze.
i saw the owner standing around drinking beer, never checked on us once.
I WOULD NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. i mean, how can you f up bar food? and the service? we were her ONLY table!!!
