I love this place. Great for all from going out with your buddies or having a family meal. Food is delicious and priced reasonably.

I was extremely disappointed with the lunch service this afternoon :(. My waitress was not only unpleasant but charged me extra for both blue cheese dressing and soda refills that were not even requested and if I knew I was paying extra for either of these items I would have stopped her from bringing them. It such a shame that w good food like that I will not be returning

Friendly staff but a little pricey. Beers are overpriced. Wings and burgers are good.

Been going here for the last 15 years and we’re never going back. Brodie’s used to be our go-to for wings and beer, especially on game day. They have a projector in the main dining section, not the bar. The projector was terrible fuzzy for game day and the employees said they didn’t know how to fix it, and that they couldn’t touch it. They charge for EVERYTHING now. Want a little more hot sauce for your wings? That’s extra. Want some more Russian dressing for your turkey club? That’s extra. All of those tiny plastic condiment containers are extra. Fries or onion rings for your side? Well our waitress asked us if we wanted a little bit of both. But guess what? It’s extra. Of course we didn’t find out any of this until we got the bill. This meal would’ve costed us at least $ 20 less a few years ago. Sorry Brodie’s, but we’re not coming back again.

As far as local pubs go, this place definitely has the advantageous position for offering quality burgers. I have eaten here on numerous occasions and I can assure you, the burgers are well done — or medium, or whatever else you like — and definitely live up to their self proclaimed burger prowess. They also have some of the best tasting, greasy-finger licking onion rings I have enjoyed feasting on while enjoying a whiskey in the rocks. As for the ambiance, the place is rather laid back and they’re definitely a large number of locals who share one hell of an affinity for the spot, but it can be a bit mundane. It’s an Irish-American percent b, they offer buy backs and darts, a mixture of young an old, and a jukebox that features those classic tunes that if course no one is tired of hearing every time they frequent an establishment. Most local spots in this area will offer the same exact amount of potential mundaneness, so you can’t hold that against them. They do offer live music, and the place can get quite packed with folks, but keep in mind that locals are the overwhelming majority of attendants.

Classic pub with decent food. The wings are great I will say that. I’ll eat these off a horse dick. The nachos are good too, super cheesy just the way your mom likes it.

We went here on a business run, looking for some quick grub and something a little different. First impressions clearly were a bar restaurant pub — which was perfect. Casual and inviting, although it was quiet it seemed to be a place where locals would frequent to have a good time. The menu itself isn’t extensive which I like and they pretty much offered some Irish fare as well as burgers, fries and wings. We both ordered the special Cajun Burger with mixed fries and onion rings, and waited a normal time. When the food arrived the portion was HUGE and I knew I was in for a treat! The beef was fresh, not frozen and perfectly seasoned, the onion rings… OMG talk about amazing! The beer batter is SO fresh that every single bite you were gifted with a malty mouthful of goodness beyond compare! The only regret I have is 1. They are two hours away from my home and 2. I was stuffed so much that I could only eat half of my food. Oh yeah, one more thing… they have permanently ruined future onion rings for me by making theirs amazing.

Came here at 9pm on a Thursday night with my friend and ate at the bar. The bartender was kind and we got our food in a reasonable time. The Magners cider was on tap, which I love. And was inexpensive($ 5.50.) My friend got Irish Red Killian beer and enjoyed it as well. He ordered chicken fingers and potato skins and I got a bacon cheeseburger. Everything was quite yummy!!! Nom nom!

Placed an order here and they got 2⁄3 of it wrong. Was told that I would get a refund but upon returning was told that I am wrong and they can’t do anything. Good policy to have to treat a customer like garbage. Also the food was nothing special Will never go back

Love this place! Bartender Kathy pours the best Guinness I’ve ever tasted. And after working for Coors light, Budweiser and corona and delivering beer to thousand of bars all over the southern new York area, I’ve had my share of Guinness. But NOONE pours it like Kathy. It’s a small Irish pub with great food. Their wings are awesome and burgers even better. Great place to grab a beer after work. Check them out!

Meh this place is just okay. I’ve come here a few times over the years and this place has never really wowed me but hubby and I were in the mood for pub food after leaving the movies last night so we opted for this place. First of all we walked in on the Dining Room side and stood there for a good 2 minutes waiting for someone to seat us — kinda uncomfortable while people at the bar just stared at us. Probably bc of the weather but were only 2 other tables in the DR. The hostess/waitress came over and told us to sit where ever we’d like. Everything from there on out was pretty timely. We ordered the small wings(hot) for our app. The wings were pretty good and though they were hot I’d like them hotter with even more sauce(I noticed on the menu that extra sauce would be an extra charge so I didn’t bother to ask for more) For our meals I had the Cheesesteak which looked and smelled delicious but once I really dug in it was just okay. It’s served on a garlic round roll(I prefer my cheesesteaks on club rolls) and the bottom part of the roll was soggy. The actual meat was kinda thick and a bit chewy. Bc of the soggy roll I had to eat it with a fork. :-/Hubby had the Ruben which he didn’t realize was an open faced Ruben until it came out. He said it was just okay. I would come back but I’m not in any rush by all means to come back tomorrow!!!

For no good reason, I/we haven’t eaten here in years. A LOT of years. Like my 12 year old daughter has no memories of being here years. Anyway, we were looking for somewhere that didn’t involve pizza and ended up here. Strictly a locals place(and it used to be a cop bar, and might still be for all I know). This is old style Irish bar food. Lots of chicken, the ubiquitous Shepard’s Pie, Balboas, etc. I decided a custom built burger, Swiss and sauteed onions and onion rings. The burger was good, not great. Not over cooked so that’s a plus. Onion rings were OK, but I miss the old Firehouse Grill with their dipping sauce. Service was fine. Only complaint was some little girl screaming and yelling and the parents seemed unwilling to deal with it. Such is life in the burbs when you eat dinner in a family place at 6 pm. Nothing to drag me back, but nothing to keep me away.

Finally ate here and not just drank hah! Well, we ate AND drank of course. After splitting from the Winery down the road(too swanky with ridic prices and their 20 $ cheese &cracker plate wasnt fillin nobody.) so we came here for some real fun and actual food. Two more rounds of brews and an array of picky platters like fried ravioli, extra crispy/burnt fries, mozzarella sticks and nachos? They all came within 10 – 15 mins and were great and hot. Perfect grease factor to go with our beers. Atmosphere is chill and never overly crowded(unless they have a band playing.) It could be a hit or miss depending on what you are in the mood for, but its a typical home-town bar with locals.
