Manicures and pedicures are decent, but over priced. Had a facial done and it was such a waste of money. I had a few breakouts before hand and I went for the acne facial. It was not relaxing whatsoever and it made my face breakout even more. I understand that when they pop pimples it’s going to be red and irritated the first few days or so, but I literally broke out so much even after a week. It did not help my skin or my acne and it was $ 90.

For the love of God, I need to read my previous reviews before going places.
$ 25 dollars for a mediocre pedicure. Not worth it.

Service is quick, materials are relatively clean. Definitely does not have a quiet spa-​like feel. If you are looking for a quick, efficient service, this place is fine.

It would be in the best interest of the nail salons to hire One fluent English speaking receptionists. The lack of understanding of the English language is the cause of bad customer relations and service.
I’ve been going to Blooming for 4yrs every three weeks. The people at the front desk Still don’t know me by name. I called for an appt Two Weeks in advance and no one w a recognizable name is available for my sister and I for UV gel fills. That’s it Bloomies, we’re done. $ 110 plus tip every 3weeks is gone for you. It’s a shame.
Anyone else have this problem in Mohegan Lake, Yorktown, Peekskill, Somers!!! Ugh.
Where do we get our nails done in Westchester!!!

I have been coming here for years. My favorite is Kim ! She is sweet, accommodating and gives a great relaxing pedicure. All the workers are really friendly and do great work. The place is nice and clean. I always see them
Cleaning well after each pedicure. The only negative that I have experienced is that sometimes they overbook. I have had appointments and have waited up to 20 minutes. I think they take anyone that walks in even if they have appointment. Yes, they are a little more than other nail salons but they are clean and the environment is nice with the flat screen playing music.

Ever since the new owners have taken over this place hasn’t been the same! When you arrive for your appointment, you either get the wrong person because they misunderstood who you wanted or the girl left. Or, the person is doing someone else’s medi/​pedi and you have to wait. .
Also, not a place to bring young girls. their music videos not suitable for young kids!

After four of us came here, three of us were seated for manicures and the fourth seated for a pedicure, the three of us waited over fifteen minutes until one nail technician finally came over. It took another ten minutes for the other two to even begin service. Two of us also received the wrong nail color. The fourth one of us getting the pedicure, sat waiting soaking feet for over fifteen minutes and saw others who came in after her getting helped. Whether they had appointments or not, nothing was communicated to any of us. That’s all that is needed some times, just tell me what is happening. After so long, she left the pedicure area and came over to us by the manicures and the nail guy doing my nails chimed in to my friend without being asked and said that it is standard for someone to soak for over fifteen minutes. They were all so rude and. No one ever apologized. Everything was so rushed once we actually received our service. Then we still tipped everyone and I felt like my technician was giving me the evil eye. Finally when we checked out the owner confronted us and they said «oh were you mad?» And we said yes I was waiting for so long and she said well those people had appointments but that was twenty minutes after the fact. Again no apology and no communication. I wasn’t even complaining to anyone and they confronted me. It was a very aggressive and off putting experience. Never going back. To top it off it was my friend’s birthday and her nail experience was ruined!!!

i go hear regularly to get my gel manicure. although the prices are little on the high side, the quality of the work is there. i have gone to other salons in the past for gel manicures and they never really seem to last as long as they are suppose to but here i really do get my moneys worth. the staff is super attentive and they take their time with their work. i have never had an issue with service and the salon appears relatively clean. its just a positive environment which makes the experience more worthwhile.

Has totally tanked since they switched owners. The last manicure I got was from a girl whose hands shook as though she was on drugs. This week, every one of my nails broke… and I have strong nails, I’m pregnant, which makes them basically indestructible. The polish lasted all of 10 minutes.

I have been going to this salon for about three years. I love how clean it is (they wipe down and sterilize all foot tubs and tools when each person is finished) and the staff is very friendly.
My favorite part is the free massage they give while your nails are drying, and it’s a huge reason why I went out of my way to go here, however the past few times I have gone the ladies that massage you have been a bit off putting. They speak to each other in Spanish while I’m trying to relax, and a lot of the time I end up waiting for a while for them to come massage me. It’s frustrating and I end up spending more time there than I wanted to because I go there specifically for the massage. It used to be the best feature this place had, and was why I went religiously every month, and now I find myself thinking its not worth the hassle of driving down to this location.

I took my daughter there for an eyebrow wax and she left with burned skin on both eyes. They are completely CLUELESS as to how hot the wax should be and you should not go there for a waxing. HORRIBLE!!!

This used to be my favorite nail salon in the area. It was always clean, my nails & eyebrows were always gorgeous and the service was spectacular. I used to recommend this place to everyone and anyone who would listen! Since it was sold though, i can only recommend that people avoid it.
The wait times have doubled, even during normally slow times. I’ve popped in here on more than a couple week days between 12 and 2 just for an eyebrow wax, and been told I had to wait in a nearly empty salon. I’ve walked out of here on more than one occasion after being told it would be «five minutes» when my watch says it’s been 20 minutes.
Then, the mani/​pedi just isn’t what it used to be either! The quality of the work is decreased, multiple people work on you– even switching mid-​service! I’ve walked out with bubbles in my polish, still bleeding from cuts and lifting of my nails.
But that’s not even the worst part. I had one nail technician tell me I didn’t tip enough the last time when I had obviously sub-​par work done. I wasn’t about to tell her it wasn’t done well, I’m not all that confrontational and really, they’re just nails, I was just going to fix it myself. But I didn’t think having to fix what I just paid for was worth an additional 25% tip… But she wasn’t happy with 15%! Told me she always receives more! I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life.
I won’t come here again. I won’t recommend it either.

In the Cortlandt/​Peekskill area, this is the best nail salon around. The best feature of this salon is that they have several employees whose only job is to give massages to clients who are getting manicures — and not just a two minute massage at the end, but a full-​on ten to fifteen minute massage up and down your neck. Second best feature is the environment — really clean, home-​like feel with comfy couches, fluffy pillows, and nice décor. They do have a giant tv-​screen, but they usually play tapings of live concerts like Michael Buble or Mariah Carey so if that’s your thing, then this is your place. Everything is super clean and the technicians are very nice — I didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me anything.
The techs here also get major points for accommodating me so that I could get a pedicure after suffering a bad knee injury. I came in with a knee brace, and the techs adjusted the massage chair so that I didn’t have to bend my leg. They were really nice and gentle about it — I appreciated the special attention.
The only reason this place didn’t get five stars is that they are closed on Sundays (which is usually the only time I can go to get my nails done) and they can seem a little pricey. I think that the services they offer are well worth the price, but the total can add up to more than I’d ideally like to spend, especially after adding a second tip for the tech who gave me the massage. I still think it’s worth the extra money to come here — they do a great job and I always come out feeling really relaxed and pampered.

This used to be my favorite nail salon. Super clean, friendly and mani/​pedi lasted. Unfortunately they have gotten really popular, so the wait times are unreal, the quality has gone down. They have recently expanded and have new managers (Diane and Michael not there anymore). I know the summers are a busy time for these places but the last three visits were horrible. The last visit pushed me over the edge.
Besides having to wait 30minutes for a mani, the woman who did my nails was also the one answering the phones. So her attention was definitely not on me, having to get up multiple times, which is why she wound up cutting me. The last time she got up, she had just put the first coat of clear on. I figured I was almost done so just decided to be patient. Then I realized that she sat down with another customer in the front row where they do the gels and tips (the more expensive services). I called her over and told her my time is valuable also, sitting there for 1 hour for regular manicure! I have never been treated so poorly!
In the end I think it’s time to find a new place. Will head to Posh nails…

I find myself coming here more and more just so I can enjoy a free massage that can sometimes last 15 minutes if they are not too busy. The nail technicians can be hit or miss but I have been lucky enough to get the good ones. The gel manicure seems to be quite popular here. Overall, the salon is clean and the staff is friendly. Prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area but no one can beat the free massages.

I love this place! I have been going here for awhile now. They do a great job mani/​pedi. Some may think it’s a little overpriced, however, I think it is worth it b/​c you get an awesome long massage. Staff is so nice and it’s very clean! It does get a bit busy, so you may have to wait a little.

This nail salon is fabulous! I have never been so pampered when going for a mani or pedi. The owners, Diane and Michael are sweet as can be and all the employees are super nice. While in the chair getting your nails done, you are offered a complimentary back massage. It is just heavenly.
I have been a loyal customer since they opened and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel like royalty. They always go the extra mile!

I’ve been a customer for about 5 years. They are clean, sterilize instruments and disinfect the foot baths etc. They are so very nice, the customers are a pleasure to sit and chat with as well. You get what you pay for. I feel safe here, no disease spread, just smiles! Let’s face it, a manicure pedicure and waxing can really do damage if you go to a sloppy place, these people are profess

Blooming is not the fanciest of nail salons, but they were offering a special where you could get a paraffin wax hand treatment for your hands when you get a manicure. I was sold.
The salon has a lot of OPI and Essie colors to choose from. The wait is pretty long, so if you want to get in and out of the salon, book an appointment. I was waiting for both my pedicure and manicure for quite a few minutes.
They will throw in a free massage — I found the massage to be a little bit painful (kind of defeats the purpose, right?). Although «free» probably isn’t the best way to describe it because a manicure and pedicure, no matter which day of the week it is, costs $ 35. This is more expensive than some of the other salons in the area.
I had to deduct a whole bunch of stars, not only for the wait, but because the technician cut me while she was clipping my cuticles. It was painful and she didn’t even disinfect the area with alcohol or anything — I had to do it when I got home. A week later, and the cut still stings.
I really wish I could give this salon a better rating because my manicure has hardly chipped and it’s been over a week. But the fact that I might have to have my foot amputated or contract gangrene has me pretty set on my opinion.
