Really expensive. This place is very overpriced. Gatorade’s 2 for $ 4.20 everywhere else 2 for $ 3.00. Dog food is also more then double than what you would pay at Walmart.

I wish 0 stars was an option… We always have gone here because it’s close to our house. Not anymore. Not one time has a prescription that’s been sent over from our doctor has it been ready. Whether it’s 30 minutes or 2 days… They are always«working on it and it will be ready in 15 minutes.» What a joke. What a waste of time! Get your stuff together!

Stopped in here a couple weeks. They didn’t have what we were looking for however I am writing the review because the employee that assisted us that day, I believe his name was Josue or something close to that, had excellent customer service. My husband and I had just been having a conversation about how customer service is almost dead. So running into this young man was a breath of fresh air and honestly lifted our sprits after coming from a bad doctor appt. 4 stars only because they didn’t have what we needed.

This is a good neighborhood Walgreens if I do say so myself. In a pinch when I can’t get to Target or I am too lazy, I can pop in and out with ease. They lose one star for the«overly enthusiastic» employees who seem to be inconvenienced with my presence(ASIF!). I do appreciate how well stocked the store is and their prices.

I like everything they sell. Problem is, you really have to watch what is being rang up at the cash register. For some reason, this only happens at every Walgreens I’ve ever been to, their sale items ring up full price. I also used to work at Walgreens and it was the worst job I ever had in my entire life… So I am a little biased, sorry.

I recently decided to visit the Walgreens on Dale after driving accross town to the McHenry store for a few years. This store is so much cleaner and the staff is much nicer. It took them five minutes to fill my prescription(which took at least 15 minutes to fill at the other store) and there were no toothless tweakers hanging around! I should have swithced my prescriptions to this location years ago!

I get my prescriptions filled here because it’s so close to my house. I like the drive through pharmacy so I don’t have to get all my kiddos out of the car to pick up or drop off. The pharmacy staff can sometimes be rude. And sometimes they don’t seem to know what they are doing. But I have yet to come across a pharmacy where I get really good customer service. They have messed up on my prescription before. They fixed the error and refunded my copay which was nice of them. As for the rest of the store. Occasionally I find a good deal while I’m browsing around but not usually! I will run in here to buy milk if I am out and it’s late at night!

Walgreens is a good store. They always have what I’m looking for and if I can’t find it there is usually an employe around to ask. There is always someone at the check out or at the camera dept., and if that don’t work there is always the Pharmacy staff. This is much better than Target or Walmart where there are usually 10 to 15 people running around to busy to help or answer a question so i tend to use Walgreens for the smaller items such as steamers etc.

I normally like Walgreen’s very much — nice, simple layouts. Staple items, good prices. So three stars for that alone. I just had a minor aggravation with this store. I went here on Saturday and saw a sign for cereal 2 for $ 4. So I grabbed two. I get to the counter and they ring up normal price. I explain to the cashier whats going on, she calls another worker. This worker proceeds to walk about THIRTYFEET away from where I’m standing, just so she can check the little sign. Then they were going to honor the price until she had to ask the manager how to change the price. Other worker disappears for a few minutes, meandering all around the store. Now, I know I don’t work here nor have I ever worked retail but don’t they have a little thing called an intercom that they can call people over? Just a thought. Finally, she comes back and said that the manager just put those out and the sale starts tomorrow. Ok, that’s all good, but it’s 1:30 in the afternoon. Why in the blue hell would a manager — or anyone — put out a sale display 12 hours in advance? Preceding my recent Rite Aid experience, an inordinate time of wasted to come to this conclusion. I think I shall avoid this location.

Ordinarily I don’t spend my time in Walgreen’s shopping for random items that I could get way cheaper at my local Target. However, their photo department is kick ass. They’re really quick with the prints, usually and priced decently. I went in last minute for some picture’s for my daughter’s school project and didn’t find out till after that the pictures weren’t due to print till Friday @ 5. I sorta through a tiny hissy fit(some huffing, sighing and omg are you kidding me???), and let the girl know they were needed for a school project. She politely told me come back in an hour, they’ll be ready. Oh thank you sweet Goddess of photo printing, you saved the day!
