We perform comprehensive eye examinations on children and adults. We specialize in fitting contact lenses and have the latest in hybrid contact lenses — SynergEyes Duette lenses for people with astigmatism and Duette Multifocals for people with astigmatism who need bifocals. Our doctors are willing to fit the «hard to fit» person that had been told that they could never wear contact lenses and we have patient contact lens technicians that train the new contact lens wearer on proper insertion and removal techniques.

History

Established in 1983.

Dr. Nancy Shoji bought the practice from Layne and Oakley Optometry in 1983. It was originally located in the Vintage Faire Mall, then moved the practice to the Wood Colony Center on Pelandale Ave, now located in a larger office with plentiful parking in Pelandale Professional Park at 4213 Dale Road. We were the first office in town to have Optomap retinal imaging. We now have the Carl Zeiss i. Profiler System and can fit the most technological advanced Zeiss Individual I. scription lenses.
