First time we’ve ordered food here. Ordered three Carne Asada super burritos. They had plenty of guacamole and sour cream, which is how I personally rate my super burritos ;-). Was pretty empty in the restaurant customer wise, surprised because of how tasty. ONLY complaint. … Carne was a tad bit salty. Can’t eat to try again to see if it is ALWAYS salty, or a one time error. If it’s even better next time, I’ll rate it a 5.

I bought gift certificates here for my father thinking he would enjoy it. He went to use them and they accused him of making the certificates himself and wouldn’t honor them. I will never go to this place again.

MMMMMMMM this place is yummy. Kicking myself in the pants for waiting so long to try it out. I had the vegetarian burrito. It was so yummy. I tried their green avacado sauce. It was just like the one at El Polo Loco that I hoard! LOL But it tasted better. It had more kick to it. Oh LAWD! I couldn’t finish it, it was so filling. Their pico de gallo was fabulous as well. My husband had the carne asada burrito and he said he liked it much better than San Jose Taqueria across the street. He said it was less greasier. Which is healthier for him anyways, I think we made the switch. So long, fare well San Jose! I also like that they have a rewards program based off your phone number, hey if we are gonna eat here from now on, gotta make sure you get 9 entrees to get your 10th free. I also like that their grill is right there and you get to watch the lady make your food. Too cool! They also have two TV’s, so it was nice to have the soccer game on one and the boxing on the other. Can’t wait to be back and try everything else they have to offer.

Good/okay food. Depending who is cooking it. If it’s one of the ladies it will be good but if it’s the guy who works in the evenings it’s just okay. Everyone is very friendly. If you are craving mexican food and are in the area I’d say go to this place. If not I’d just go to a taco truck.

I stopped here for a quick lunch. It’s a small restaurant in a quiet strip mall. The menu is posted complete with pictures above the register. You place your order at the counter and find yourself a booth. The interior was clean and much more spacious than it looked from the outside. My husband and I both ordered the two enchilada combo plate. He opted for chicken while I got the carne asada. The meals come with rice and beans. The cashier was friendly and patient with us. He asked if we wanted chips and salsa and gave us a complimentary basket along with some condiment cups for the salsa bar. Sadly, many of the sauces on the salsa bar were empty. It didn’t take long for our food to be ready. It’s cooked to order and you can watch them make it. The cashier delivered the food to our table. The food was good, but a little bland. They did have Tapatio on the table, so it was easy to spice it up a bit. Portions were pretty hearty. I only could finish one enchilada but my husband happily helped me out.

Ok service, ok food. It took 30 minutes to get my food. And even then each person got their plate 3 minutes later then the last. Dont waste your time plenty of taquerias in the area better then this one.

Cant go wrong with anything you order here. My usual is shrimp fajitas or shrimp enchiladas. Oh and the flan is delicious, homemade. The rice and beans are delicious which is very important to me. My bf has been coming here for a while. Recommend.

Had the Super Burrito, size wasn’t even fit for the price they charge for it. Anyways, main thing that stood out was that it was cold. Semi-Warm tortilla, but once you bite into it, it was just cold. Ugh… Didn’t feel right. My mother came with me and ordered the same thing, and had the same reaction. … And to top it off, they got stingy with the Carne Asada. — a mess We both didn’t feel satisfied after we were done eating. Never coming here again. Plenty other choices out there.

Chicken taco plate with rice and beans best in town. I have been frequenting here for about 4 years now. My wife is from Guadalajara so is very picky about her food. And always loved it. There is a new owner from what I understand and also a new not annoying girl at the desk. Always friendly. And the cook is always ready to change up your order. Add more chicken or take something out. For the price it’s a five star.

Went for lunch on Thursday around 1:30. Only one other table eating in but several people came for take out while we were there. I ordered the chile relleno and cheese enchilada plate. Both were good. The cheese inside the enchilada wasn’t completely melted but the verde sauce was awesome. The best refried beans that I’ve had from anywhere lately but the rice was flavorless. My bf had carnita tacos, he was not impressed because the meat was dried out and flavorless. We also had a shrimp tostada. It was good but had so much lime on it, it made me pucker with every bite. And I love lime but this was overwhelming. The salsa bar was good, too much cilantro and not enough vinegar in the cabbage but the salsas were good and fresh

I used to absolutely love this place. Still go here sometimes. They have excellent flan and I LOVE the chips and salsa bar. The food has gone downhill of late and I find the girl working at the front to be kind of annoying. That being said, I still give this restaurant 3.5 stars as it is reasonably priced and has a nice seating area.

Both my culinary companion du jour and I were ill for over a week after eating there Christmas Eve. My housekeeper and her family were all ill for five or six days after eating there New Years Day. They are never going back there. I don’t think that I’m going to, either. If you’re smart, you won’t, either.

Modesto has cornered the market on refried beans. I’ve yet to have a bad bean in this town. As to the other menu items, meh it’s hit or miss. Here I ordered the #54, two grilled Chicken crispy tacos combo plate with bottled water. You walk up to the counter and order. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I ate in this time. There’s booths and tables. Plenty of seating and actually very large inside compared to what you see outside. There was a salsa bar and I think a salad bar but I didn’t partake. My food was beautifully presented. But presentation alone didn’t make the dish. The crispy shells were store bought. The grilled chicken was nicely grilled but had no seasoning. They did melt the cheese on the chicken, which helped immensely. As I finished up the place got busier. The food was ok but pretty plain. The beans get the gold star this time.

This is my first visit here. As a burrito fan, that is what I set my sights on. I ordered a burrito al pastor, minus the rice and ad jalapeños inside the burrito. In side the restaurant, was nice clean and good basic casual place. I also noticed there was a well stocked salsa bar. I tried each of the salsas and all from mild to hot were fresh and tasty. The only draw back is they will only allow one, 3 cups from the salsa bar — then the sing says they charge $.50 for each cup more. Not good — but I also not they did not enforce that with me. The staff was friendly and pleasant. So not to the burrito; I took one bite and it was just plane awesome. The pork was quite tender and nicely seasoned. I loved every bite. I’d have to say it was the best burrito, I have eaten in a long while. Burritos(and tacos) are one of my fav foods in the world and I’ve had burritos where ever I go — so I am quite experienced in burrito eating and enjoying. This is defiantly a top 10 place — just the best here — don’t be shy — go get a burrito here today.

The family used to frequent the place quite often when we lived in Modesto. Everyone is very friendly and the food is always great! Fresh salsa bar is always stocked with various types. Recently made a trip back and HAD to stop here, as we don’t have good Mexican where we live now.
