Sparkles Auto & Pet Wash

The only reason I came here is because I got cilajet on my car and it specifies that if you can, they prefer you to use a touch less car wash. My rating is based on the automatic wash. It was horrible! Left a layer of dirt still, all over my car. I brought a towel to dry afterwards and wasn’t able to dry anything; I had to use it to wipe down my ENTIRE car just to get the dirt layer off. Do not go there if you plan to use the automatic wash. It was pricey and literally was not able to wash the dirt off my car. The vacuums didn’t seem to be functioning up to par either, I feel that it took me a lot longer (and a lot more change) than it should have.

I’ve gone here a couple times before and while the equipment itself was working fine those two other times… today it was NOT and it cost me twice as much money as it should have. I needed the Tire Cleaner/​Degreaser. Initially it took longer than usual to start coming out of the nozzle and then of course it started spitting out of the nozzle and kept doing that until I could get the job done with lapses in dispensing any fluid at all at times — both were eating up my time which costs me more money and you have to try to keep going cuz you gotta get the job done or else you gotta come back. So… I’m guessing that someone isn’t consistent with checking the chemical drums to every day to make sure there’s enough product to dispense
Second complaint — the two previous times I went there the RECEIPT MACHINE reads your card but does NOTHING — well… third time here and it still doesn’t work

You come home… and this is because there’s NOTHING posted on site on how to contact the owner (s)…and you google it and there’s a phone number that’s voice mail only. If I could count how many times in my 46 years on this planet that I’ve left a voice mail with a business and never got a return call
Ummm…I know… how about posting SOMEWHERE on site how to contact and maybe even include an EMAIL ADDRESS

We took our 23′ trailer to the RV wash bay and couldn’t be happier wth the result. The bay included a long handled brush, a spray nozzle and an elevated ramp that enabled the roof to be cleaned with ease. I have to say that we used the pre-​wash soap to start and then the high pressure rinse and only spent $ 7.75!
We will definitely use this business again.

Im giving this car wash a review because it did the job. I called ahead to ask if it takes debit cards. But it doesnt say and nobody told me that it doesn’t stop on its own on a timer. It charged me 13.25. Then i went to the office to tell the lady and she was very disrespectful and she was really telling me I’m stupid and that I should know. I’ve never been here. She said fine and gave me a 10 dollar voucher for the auto wash. Which is amazing by the way. Go through that next time. Then I went to the vacuum and again it doesn’t post anywhere how to turn off or say how long it is. So i wasted 16.50. Never again will i go here

Love the pet wash! I have a very active terrier and a huge boxer. Love that I can take them both n close the gate:) I don’t have to worry about having change/​coins either.

I love this car wash! It’s always so neat and clean, very affordable. I always use to just wash my car myself but I tried the touch less wash and love it. Gets my car very clean. This is hands down the best car wash around. Plus the manager is always so nice. She was at the wash one day and I asked her a question and she was so helpful also so knowable. I think her name is kelly! I highly recommend this wash

I recently bought a new entry-​level SUV with a unique paint job which requires either a hand wash or a place that mimics hand washes. Being that I live in an apartment complex with no water hookup unless I could get an extra long hose to go from my upstairs unit down to the parking lot some 1000 feet, it wasn’t happening.
I remember that most of the car wash places in Modesto were brush-​inspired and that right there would be death to my paint job. I looked and looked until finally finding Sparkles and their touted brushless car wash. They use recyclable high powered water to get the nasties off and usher in the clean. You just pull up to the pay cage, wait til you’re called in, put on your breaks then the car wash works around you!
I couldn’t be happier with how clean my car gets and they even offer vacuums on the other side of the washing terminal. I’m a customer for life!

I have to say that I’m impressed by this place. I just ran my car through the automated wash (I thought about washing it myself but I’m simply not dressed for it). I saw a few people washing their dogs which was cute. The automated wash is touch less which is perfect to me because I’m scared of brushes scratching my new car. And not bad for a super wash for $ 10. No this wash didn’t remove all of the bugs from the front of my car but even places with brushes don’t accomplish that so I’m really happy with how this turned out. And because the machine runs that extra blower there are only a few spots left with water but even then the stains aren’t really dark like at some places. I will be back and maybe next time I’ll wash my own car haha.

Best system in town!!! I’ve been using the Automatic Washing system for years and will drive out of my way to use this facility! The jets are powerful and every time I roll away, I’m confident about how clean my vehicle is. I have a newer vehicle and the last thing I want is some rubber bands slapping against my paint and scratching it. The vacuums are always full strength and when I go in the mornings there is usually an attendant cleaning up the trash and working on the equipment. Highly recommended on this end.

I found the water to be just right for our dogs. Some of these reviews are so crazy. Like Dogmaster” seriously if you hate it so much why do you keep going back and then reposting. Not to mention I have experienced none of your troubles. I noticed you review a lot of places and are mostly quite negative. That really hurts business and I think that’s a sad way to live. I saw an employee running around there. They fixed the credit card machine. Not to mention if you call their # posted they will credit you. Gees! I guess you just can’t please everyone. Bottom line: very clean facility and had a great experience. :)

I have two large pits and bathing them is an extreme hassle. This place is an answer to my prayers. Not only is it easy, it’s economical. I spent 10.00 washing two dogs and I didn’t even have to use my own soap. They had shampoo, flea shampoo, conditioner, oatmeal bath, disenfectant, deskunker and rinse functions available along with the dryer «wich I didn’t use». There were also stay dry ponchos, terry towelles «I brought my own», and treats available for an additional charge. They had a wired shelf to place your necessities out of they way of the shaking dogs so your stuff didn’t get wet, a leash in the tub to lock down your pet and a locking gate… Just in case. I highly recommend this place. Way too cool.

Dog wash is expensive and has several kinks to bw worked out. The water was HOT HOT HOT no way to change water temperature or pressure. It cost me 5 dollars just to get my pet wet enough to wash properly! The water pressure is a joke as well! I love the idea of this place but you should not have to pay so much just to use water!!! Eeesh! If I wouldve just gone to petsmart id only have paid 5 dollars more for a better done bath and brush!

Took our Aussie for a wash to check it out. The water initially comes out COLD for the first minute or two. That would be okay, if it weren’t for the fact that the meter is running, so you pay for unusable cold water minutes. The water pressure is WAY TOO LOW, which means longer wash and rinse times, which in turn means you pay more. The «flea shampoo» was empty. I waited and waited for it to come out (meter is running mind you) …nothing. Call me modern, but I think the display needs to light up when the reservoir is out of something so you don’t waste time selecting it. The blow dryer is a small shop vac in reverse. No heat, just air. And do you know why they don’t give you the option of heated air? Yep, you guessed it, anything that takes you longer equals more money for them! Bottom line is that I left there feeling ripped off. It cost $ 15.00 to wash my dog, and I did all the work. I can get a good car wash for that price, and someone else is doing it.

Please do not use your credit card in their machines. You will not get product/​services. Use money only if you want to donate. Rv bay not good for long rv. Grease on the hoses will damage your clothing and mar your vehicle.

I brought my three dogs here yesterday to be washed! It was wonderful!!! The water was warm, the equipment worked great. I felt like my dogs were secure. The only thing that was a downfall was the blow dryer was loud and it scared them. The rest of our experience was amazing!

Does a pretty fair job on washing the car but don’t think my little Maltese would like it to much.

I like this place because they have everything you need to clean your car. I washed my lifted truck and normally it’s hard to get it clean, but with what tools and products are available, I am able to wash and wax the truck with ease. The only problem with Sparkles is that it is expensive. Normally, when you do something yourself, it’s supposed to be cheaper. That wasn’t the case here. Cost me around $ 12 to clean my truck, which won’t fit through the automated car washes. I recommend this place to the people that want to clean their car but don’t have any equipment at home.

PERFECT place to take your dog (as well as your car) for a wash. Our lab actually loved the pet wash (much better than the cold water out of the hose at home)! It’s similar to the grooming department at Petsmart, except it’s «do-​it-​yourself.»
The pet wash has a variety of shampoo /​conditioner options, and there’s even a blow dryer. Take along a couple towels and a brush for the finishing touches.
The attendant was very helpful, and there was only a short wait. Cost was about $ 5 bucks (including the optional conditioner, blow dryer, etc.)
And, even if your dog is a maniac, there are short «leads» in the bathing compartment that will keep him put. Plus, the entire grooming area is gated-​off for added protection.
Cool place, great concept, low cost, and nice people… couldn’t ask for more… HIGHLY recommend it.

This place is great. I love completely automatic carwashes b/​c there’s no one to tip. This one is neato because you don’t move through the wash– it moves around you. There are no brushes, so no danger of scratching. Got a tall car? This will get the roof clean!
The pet wash was an adventure. Our lab was not a fan, but she is still smelling good, days later. The manager was there and was very helpful in showing us all the features.
Highly recommend!
