RV Storage Depot

Be careful. The sign on the hate says that they have video surveillance. They don’t. I stored my boat there and had it stripped of my electronics and radar dome. This is how I found out that «video surveillance» only applies to the in and out gates.
Last memorial day weekend I called to have my boat brought out via their valet service. When I showed up to pick up my boat, somebody had damaged the side and the cover. I informed the office of the damage and asked who they had parked next to me. They said that they were so busy that weekend that they didn’t know who they had parked next to me Corporate was notified and said that they weren’t responsible for the damage. I asked to speak to corporate directly, and was informed that that information (phone number) was private. The resolution was to let corporate know that I was unhappy. B.S.

We have had our Class A motorhome stored here for two years. The facility and service is wonderful. Unfortunately, they have raised their rates 40% over the two year period, because they are the only enclosed storage place in the area. Can they do it? Yes. Should they do it? No. This is what happens when there is no competition. But trust me, as soon as someone else sees a business opportunity and opens another facility, we will be gone.

Attempted to rent a unit and a UHaul. The receptionist was very rude. Maybe it was an off day for her, but she even told us to go somewhere else since she’s busy, so we did exactly as told. Would not recommend this location for quality customer service.

I’ve had a wonderful storage experience at Mission Viejo RV Storage Depot. The office managers Matilda and Fernanda are very knowledgeable and helped me choose the best size unit for my storage needs. The facility is safe and very clean. My unit has motion censored lighting, and carpet. The carpet and indoor units are great for the antique furniture I’m storing, I don’t have to worry about dust accumulating, or other elements causing damage. The onsite maintenance staff is always extremely helpful when I’m bringing in large items, they always seem to be available to help. I’m very happy as a tenant at RV Storage Depot and I expect to be storing there for as long as I can.

We were very unhappy with our experience at RV Storage Depot.
1) our access code has NEVER worked!
2) you can not access your stuff! They changed their policies (after we had already become a customer) and they now require that you make an appointment 24 hours in advance; in order to view or access you personal property… However they don’t answer their phones or return phone messages… so you can’t make the appointment.
3) when you do show up (after you have left several messages and no-​one has called you back) they charge you $ 25.00 to access your property, because you didn’t make an appointment!
4) when we had finally had enough and decided to move our toy hauler to a more «user friendly» location… We called and left messages from the 27^th through the 3^rd… No one ever returned our calls! … We finally had to drive over to their location to make an appointment; where we found the office girl polishing her nails… she then made an appointment for us to collect our toy hauler from their property the next day between 12 & 2… BUT
5) when we arrived and tried to collect our toy hauler, the office was locked AND again no-​one was answering the phones! We then had to find an alternative way in; because our access code STILL didn’t work… Our toy hauler had been moved and we had to try to find it… after locating our property ALL we wanted to do was conclud our business with RV Storage Depot, so we drove back over to their front office and waited with two other people (one was a Uhaul driver) but after 30 minutes of sitting outside in the sun and staring at the locked office door we gave up and left!!!
Nothing is worse than actually paying someone/​someplace to treat you like crap!!!

The facilities are great. Access is ridiculous!!! 24 hour security is cameras. They have 1 security guard who may or may not be there, and if he needs to take a day off or go on vacation you don’t get to access your storage unit other than office hours.(which classes at 5 sharp!!) Then there’s the issue of the hidden fees!!! When I rented my storage unit is was $ 80 a month paid by the 16^th. @6 months later thay changed, without notice. Now if my rent isn’t paid by the 10rh it doubles in fees.

RV Storage has always taken excellent care of my 40′ RV with inside storage.
They have always been helpful and very pleasant to work with.

We have had a number of communication issues on our 4 spaces… being hit with really unreasonable increases. Called Mgt after an incident parking our trailer next to us over the line in a super tight space– no call back. I no longer can recommend them in good faith much as I like the location.

I’ve had 2 RV’s over the past three years stored at this location and have been pleased. I use their valet service and they have always had my RV ready for pick-​up when requested. Also when calling in to schedule a pick-​up or return they promptly return my calls.

Really? Did I just call and have you tell me there was one space available? And did you say to get down there right away to reserve it? And did you say you’d call and tell them I was coming?
I drove 30 minutes and arrived at 11:20 AM. No one there but a note that said, «I’m out in the lot please call me».
When I called did you really say, «I decided to eat lunch now– you’ll have to wait 20 minutes?
Did you know I waited for 40 minutes in the heat and you never showed?
Is this the way you run your business? Really?
This was my hello to me from your business!

I went into their location pumped up to get my new space… I had called in the night before, they located a space, they charged a $ 25 reservation fee. They suggested to get there early the next morning to lock it all in. I went at 9AM… I was very unlucky to run into Fernanda Rubiano «Manager» — She immediately had a major attitude — first, she tried to dismiss me by saying we have no more spaces. I explained my reservation, which then she confirmed that yes there was 1 space, she was not happy that she was wrong… At this time, another client came in… who asked her a question… Her reply… I have to finish with «this guy» — Later that client expressed how rude she was — when I bumped into her outside when I left.
Honestly it was so rude, I had to let her (Fernanda) know. Her immediately reply to me was — «I Have no Space for you, I am not giving you this space!». Basically — I shared my concern for her attitude, at-​which-​point she decided to deny me my «reserved» space.
I thought I was just going to get my space… and this Woman was a total Jerk. I have called in and complained about her… I will report back on the company’s response to this horrible behavior by one their people. The other’s seem friendly, but Fernanda Rubiano’s attitude was so bad it really did spoil the entire experience.

Jessica assisted my wife and I getting a 5×5 self storage unit today. Even thou the location was extremely busy, Jessica kept a cool head and remained professional the entire time. I do recommend that if you come, do not plan to come on the first weekend of the month! They are quite busy (as I am sure all moving places are!) The self storage areas are converted offices from an old computer business and were clean and easily accessible. From the website, we were going to get a 4×4 unit although the height is only about 4 feet in these «lockers.» We opted for a 5×5 for the additional height. We also did not need to provide our own lock as it was provided for us.

This place is just great. The people who works there are very professional and they take great prude of their work. I feel like that they threat my RV and other toys as if it were their own.
I feel very safe parking our RV, boat, and jetski with them.
Their selfstorage is grwat too and they always try to work with you to make everything so easy.
Highly recommended!

Ive been with Depot since opened, no problems good access hours and the grounds are paved.

Great storage facility and the price was right, least expensive than any other storage place. Friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this business for any storage needs, RV or Misc.

I’ve been at RV Depot for a few years now since it opened. Jessica is very helpful and honest. You can’t find a better place in south OC for your Rig. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.

Our storage unit is inside an air conditioned building that is well lit and safe. They have a 24 hour security guard and he is able to let you in after hours if you need to get to your unit. The facility was an office building so you really have an air conditioned building, other places say they have it but it never feels like it. Their prices are very reasonable, the best I’ve found in all of Mission Viejo.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. It is so much safer than regular storage units. I LOVE THE FACT that the units have LIGHTS INSIDE. What I REALLY love and feel SECURE with is there ON SITE SECURITY GUARD KIFRU (sp?). He is so friendly, and always smiling and willing to help with whatever you need at the facility. So many other storage facilities gave me the creeps but this place is safe and accommodating. I can’t recommend this place more plus the price is right.

My wife and I store our 2 boats indoors in the location in Mission Viejo. The service has always been great, access hours work just fine with our trips and the staff is always friendly. We like the location it’s very convenient too. We really recommend this place!

This place has secure & convenient storage options great for RVs and boats. You have access 365 days a year from 5AM-​10PM.
Their office staff has always been friendly and very accommodating. If you call and no one is available to take your call, leave a message and they ALWAYS call back. (From my experience they call back the same day.)
