Love this place. Can get a little busy but worth the wait. Great bagels and bagel sandwiches. They’re very generous with the cream cheese which I appreciate.

Alex, Bill, Hannah and more. Always make me feel welcome. Warm bagel selection is good when I get there. Coffee good. Price is right. I spend many a morning using their wi-fi and getting ready for the day.

Great staff and quality bagels and so many choices. The sandwiches are very good as well… highly recommend the veggie! Like the smears, jalapeño is quite spicy, so be warned.

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast. They actually ran out of plain bagels. Then the person serving us was preoccupied listening to the manager telling him to substitute a different bagel because no one ever knows. Hmm. Must happen often. Won’t go back.

Okay service. Waited a while to get a smoothie but got my food before it. We had to remind them to make it after about 15 minutes.

This is my favorite bagel place. They have the best coffee too ! I highly recommend the Asiago bagel, and the strawberry topper bagel with honey and granola on a cinnamon sugar bagel and strawberry cream cheese ! Would recommend to anyone

My favorite bagel place! Garlic bagel is the best, tons of dried garlic on it :) There is one female cashier that has the personality of a wet blanket but everyone else is great.

I went here and had a thintastic tuna bagel sandwich, which was really yummy. No complaints about customer service. I enjoy their breakfast items; they’re a bit pricy though.

OK – time for an update to my previous review. We have to drive past three other bagel stores to get to this Einstein Bros Bagels. Doesn’t that say something? That’s right — we actually drive out of our way to get to get our breakfast fix. Alex and his crew consistently provide outstanding service, tasty food, and smiling faces. We always feel welcome and that is why we keep coming back. Thanks again, Alex and crew !!!

We ordered two lox: one on everything bagel with avocado and the other one garlic bagel with no avocado. I got two everything bagels with avocados on both and charged accordingly. When we called, we asked if they had freshly squeezed orange juice and was told they did. The two large orange juice we ordered says«water, 100% orange juice from concentrate.» Not only is this not a fresh made OJ but the juice is so watered down I can hardly taste the orange in it. And the bowl of fruits I ordered has been stored for so long that the fruits are beginning to lose their colors and looking transparent. There was a long line when I got there and I see no reason why there would be. We’re never going back. They did NOTHING right with our order.

First time in an Einstein’s in a while. I don’t know why, since there is one less than a mile from me in a plaza I go to all the time. I was asked multiple times if I was ready to order when I was looking at the menu. Whatever issues they had with counter help were certainly not evident today. Everything went well. The counter girl(name starts with a T but I forget already … So I will call her T) was very helpful. She even went in the back to make sure there were pumpkin muffins for me. Thanks T!(Taline) I ordered an egg sandwich with applewood bacon in a jalapeño bagel, and the nova lox on a jalapeño bagel. They were both great but the lox… Wow, one of the tastiest breakfast sandwiches EVER. Will I go again? Heck yeah. I am going to get a dozen(13) bagels this Monday. They have so many I want to try. Now to set my alarm earlier. Cheers guys

Wow. Is there a crème cheese shortage or what? I ordered a bagel with crème cheese and there was so little crème cheese that I thought they’d forgotten it at first. Very, very disappointed.

I have been seriously disappointed with the service. On more than three occasions, I was the next person and line, and it took as long as twelve minutes from my standing at the front of the line to even have somebody acknowledge me and even begin to take my order. Twice, my order was not processed properly. If you are in any kind of a hurry, this is not the place to go for quick and accurate service. I will not return.

I have been coming to Einstein ever since it opened because it’s walking distance from my house. The bagels always taste great but the staff really needs improvement. Almost every time I go the cashier is rude or unhappy. Today was the worst experience I’ve had with a cashier. The cashier was not friendly and rolled her eyes and sighed at us when we changed our order. I believe her name was Viktoria. That might have been the last time I go to Einstein. I would rather drive someone else to get a bagel where the staff is friendly than walk 2 minutes to be treated like trash at Einstein. GETITTOGETHER.

Foods fine but so far the service has a lot to be desired. It’s a morning place. A place like this where you grab your first cup of coffee can set the tone for a lot of folks day. An order taker like«Josh» can sour your day. Zero sense of humor and about as warm and friendly as a newt. In short they need some more friendly folks at the register.

Rude cashier. Ive been coming here for the past 2 years and today was the last straw. Every time I come in on Saturday morning the young staff always have a sour face and personality. If you don’t like waking up early and can’t handle the loads of people, then quit. Today was no different than most weeks. It was my turn in line and the cashier was talking to another employee about her stomach pain. I patiently wait for her to finish her conversation, and doesn’t greet me or say a simple good morning. She just stares at me and says«what do you want». I thought okay maybe she’s in a bad mood, so I was polite and continued with my order. When she took my order she never gave me my receipt and didn’t say«thank you»… Again just stared at me with a confused look as to why I was still standing in her line. This happens more than it should and thats why i wont be coming back to this location. When i got my bagel it wasn’t then thintastic bagel that i ordered and there was cream cheese all over the wrap of my applewood bacon bagel. Ridiculous. Tip! Don’t hire immature brats that don’t have the singlest clue on how to treat customers.

I have been coming here for years and for the most part I have been happy The Owner has taken care of any issues I have had Friday’s seem to be the problem day as the lines are large Well today was no exception I have no problem waiting my turn but two people came in after me and they were allowed to cut in front as they placed a phone order They said it is corporate policy to allow this I won’t be returning as My toasted bagels just sat there will they got the 2 Phone orders ready If that is their policy then my policy is to not go to Einsteins again I have some free dozen bagel certificates which I will redeem but they won’t get another dime out of me

Make no mistake, this place is a zoo in the morning! I LOVE Einstein Bagels but I wish there were more in South OC. I have been here a couple of times because they are sooo yummy!!! Anyways, I came here with my BFF because there arent any EB where she lives in Culver City either… daaang! I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese on apple dutch bagel… it was fantastic!!! Ok, ok, I do have to agree with a lot of my fellow Unilocalers that the service is not very good and the workers seem lost. I came here after the morning rush and came face to face with a 10th grader… a high school kid cashiering… he ignored my friend and I for what seemed like 15 min!!! I said«I am sure any day now he will realize we are standing here…» He then looked up and said«I am sorry but I am organizing receipts. Ill be with you in a second…» Um… yea ok… I use to cashier in high school too and I organized receipts at the end of my shift or when I had down time… not while I had customers in line!!!
