I have loved coming to bagels and brew for the last 20 years that I can remember. These past few months though, my bagel has been made wrong every time. I try not to be too picky and have allowed them ample opportunity to make it right but somehow they just can’t. Not sure if it’s a new staff in the kitchen or what but only the outside of my bagels have been toasted. The inside has been completely un toasted every time. Is it that difficult to double toast the inside of the bagel? I even made a point to ask for it that way specifically the last 2 times and it still comes out with the outside of the bagel burned and the inside uncooked. I’m really sad about this too but unless you like your cheese burnt, just get a bagel to go and toast it yourself. At this point, I would love to speak with management about this. Changes need to be made or I’ll have to take my loyal business to bagel shack or I love bagels.

Always good and hearty food, for breakfast or lunch. Imaginative recipes and super fresh salads, ample portions and friendly staff offering great service. I have used their catering service and there is no question I will use them over and over again. You won’t be sorry!

Great place. Come here all the time. They get busy so expect 15 min for cooked food. Breakfast burrito is legit and wife loves the sunrise olé bfast sando. Can’t go wrong with this place.

The best sandwich I’ve ever had. Price was reasonable. For about $ 9 I got a sandwich, chips and a drink. I’ll be back for sure

Had the infamous unicorn bagel with birthday cake cream cheese. Not bad, tastes about the same as a plain bagel obviously. But it’s picture worthy for sure. Cream cheese was super sweet and yummy. Overall seems like a nice place for breakfast and lunch. I’d return. 5.15 for one bagel with cream cheese was a little pricey though.

If you are in the vicinity of a Bagels & Brew, go. Just go there. I have been there multiple times during breakfast and during lunch, have tried multiple items — they were *all* delicious! Our company uses them to cater breakfast and lunch and, again, the food is amazing! Definitely worth adding this place to your regular rounds.

This bagels and brew has indoor and outdoor seating. I had a very pleasant experience with the customer service here. The girl who took my order is quick, friendly, and knows what she’s doing. I didn’t even have to show her my Unilocal coupon for the free small drink. I ordered 2 unicorn bagels, toasted, one with birthday cake spread and the other with caramel. The total was $ 10.24. Another worker brought my bagels to me in a pretty short time after I ordered. Lemme just say the bagels are even prettier in person. The outside is glossy and colorful while the inside is soft and even more vibrant. The bagel has a nice crunch on the outside and is doughy and soft on the inside. The bagel itself has a faint but yummy taste. There’s a hint of sweetness unlike most other bagels but it’s nowhere near overwhelming. The birthday cake spread is sweet, not artificial tasting, and just a cream cheese/birthday cake masterpiece. The caramel spread was equally as wonderful. The taste of caramel is very apparent yet it does not overwhelm the bagel. Everything about these bagels and spreads were in perfect balance.

This is your go to location for unicorn/rainbow bagels in Orange County! It was soooo good! I got the birthday cake spread and my friend got the caramel– both are to die for. They have lots of other options for breakfast if you don’t want the rainbow bagels but if you do, GETTHEREEARLY! They sell out fast. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of customer service. The girl at the checkout was very rude. There were only two bagels left of the rainbow, and my other friend who was eating something else, asked as to how they tasted. The worker replied with«they taste like normal bagels but with a hint of vanilla. BUTTHEYGOTTHELASTONESSOOOOO…» Girl. She was just asking as to how they taste. No need to be rude about it, we all have eyes and can see that it’s the last two. Thanks.

Oddly, or I suppose I should say unexpectedly, had the best almond milk latte I’ve ever tasted, ever, here. Well done, Bagels and Brew crew! The space is clean and the staff was friendly. Great morning meeting spot for a quieter crowd. We left with a dozen fresh bagels to bring to the barn and enjoyed a hearty breakfast sandwich stuffed with tomatoe, sausage, cream cheese and a few other ingredients I’m totally forgetting about, and a cinnamon bagel with their new birthday cake cream cheese which I could eat by the spoonful.

Go-to spot for bagels whenever I’m in RSM. The sandwiches are tasty, but it definitely gets crowded on the weekend. Even just the regular bagels and cream cheese are good.

I seriously love this place. I have been coming here for 20 years and the food has remained amazing! I seem to only get the Sunrise Supreme sandwich because it is THEBEST! Its hard to go there and get something else b/c nothing beats a sunrise supreme. I also love that they made their outside patio bigger. Plus, its great to find a place I can bring my dogs to. The staff is always so awesome. I have never had a bad experience. Yeah, sometimes there is a wait to get a table, but never too long that i’ve gotten up and left out of frustration. Sometimes its crowded when trying to get a refill of coffee or trying to order, but I don’t care. It’s worth it!

Unilocal 100 Challenge 18⁄100 This location is smaller than the one I used to frequent in Aliso Viejo, and has more of a homey feel, which I do like better. There aren’t many tables inside, but they have a large patio section with lots of seating. Most people prefer it outside so there’s usually room inside. I mostly just get coffee or hot tea, but do like their bagels and breakfast items. They are nice and friendly there, but it can be a little slow. I’m usually meeting someone there and am not in a rush, but notice that it can take some time even for simple orders. It’s a minor complaint for otherwise great service and food.

I ordered some food here today and I was satisfied. It was good but wasn’t the best breakfast ever. I ordered the veggie omelet which was pretty standard. The only thing I really appreciated was the freshness of the ingredients. The taste overall was good. Like I said I was satisfied but nothing special. The other time I went there though I had a sunrise sandwhich with bacon. That was wayyyy better and I loved the bagel used as the buns of the breakfast sandwich. I say this is a good place for a quick breakfast. The wait was a little long though. Its a nice place to sit and chat I guess. Not the best and not the worst. Still worth 4 stars though.

I have been going there for years, but I think TODAYWASTHELASTTIME I ORDERFROMTHEM. I ordered a sunrise sandwich to go with NOVALOX on a TOASTED bagel with the eggs on the side. The only thing they got right was putting the eggs on the side, and even those turned out to be overcooked. I placed my order and went to the market. When I returned, they gave me my bag and I was leaving, but figured I would put some tobasco on the eggs so I opened the bag and SURPRISE… there was NOLOX on my bagel! Now I was upset, especially since the MAININGREDIENT in Lox and Bagels is… LOX! Imagine how mad I would have been if I had not checked the order and went to the office before I found out the lox wasnt there! OK, so I told the server and she went to get some lox. I noticed someone who looked like a manager talking to her(more on him in a minute) and she brought me an order of lox. When I got to the office, I saw that the bagel was NOTTOASTED — that prompted me to call and ask for the manager. Don got on the phone(it turns out HE was the person the server was speaking to — I guess to authorize handing out some lox) and when I explained the situation to him his only reply/excuse was the cook was confused because the eggs were on the side, rather then on the bagel. AREYOUKIDDINGME??? That was the reason why he forgot to put the LOX on a LOXBAGEL??? Good thing I didnt order anything really complicated. I went on to explain that my bagel wasnt even toasted and he had a kind of «Oh Well» attitude, again saying the cook must have been confused. ****I know they have a lock on bagels and breakfast in general in the area, but come on, you really want to be cocky with someone who took the time to let you know what you did wrong and offer you an opportunity to make it right rather than just lose a customer. After a few minutes conversation, and me calling him out on his lack of concern attitude, he reluctantly offered an apology. Now I am going to say that his real opportunity at customer service — if he cared — would have been to come over when he originally found out that the order was wrong and offer an apology. Instead he just sent the server over with the MISSINGLOX(which again is part of a LOX and BAGEL). I will stand 100% behind my review and if they offered me free bagels for life, I would not go back there again, not because they screwed up my order, simply because of Don’s lack of concern for the problem.

Damnit Bagels & Brew, I gave you another shot and again, you gave me a shitty bagel. I ordered the pretzel bagel and was given one of the more stale tasting/texture bagels I’ve ever had. Your other breakfast options and coffee must be fantastic because I cannot comprehend how this place is consistently crowded, at least for bagels, because they are not good.

This place offers a wide array of bagels, breakfast with plates etc… They have it all hear. This location is usually packed, so seating usually tough. But it’s worth the wait. I recommend the breakfast sammiches and plates. I have yet to try lunch — but that’s next!

Here I am again. Ordered egg whites and a bagel. I have the egg, after 20 minutes still no bagel. I have been here at least 50 times and they have never gotten it right. I think it was a simple order, but it seems impossible to ever get it. The staff seems undirected and while most are very polite and it isn’t their fault, there seems to be no direction. The kitchen seems to care less. Will I try again? Not at all motivated to.

As in Orange County native bagels and brew is something that every person in Orange County could tell you about. What started as one location has emerged into 3 and I can only imagine will continue to grow as the years go by. You may ask yourself what makes this local hotspot truly a special. Location — nestled in the heart of Mission Viejo there’s a small indoor restaurant and a sizable patio. But seating can sometimes be scarce during the busy breakfast hours because this spot is so popular. The eats — true to its name bagels and brew has a fantastic selection of bagels and coughing but it doesn’t stop there. There’s a wide selection of breakfast sandwiches an omelets and sandwiches and other sandwich is it you can choose from. My personal favorite is the bagels with locks and the Greek omelette. But I’ve never seen anybody get anything from bagels and brew that they didn’t love so whatever you get your shirt I love it. Overall — this is one of my favorite places to visit whenever I’m in my home town. The food is delicious the atmosphere is relaxed and the prices have always been good. you’ll be able to get some good food enjoy the company of your friends without any pressure to leave and you won’t break the bank while you’re doing it. Bagels and brew is a must stop shop.
