Sam and his team were great!
We brought our Honda Accord in and Sam was friendly, funny, honest, and knew his stuff! I never felt like he was trying to up sell me on anything (like I’ve felt at other places like Honda dealerships).
After our car was serviced, I was running a little late and would arrive back at the shop about 10 – 15 minutes after they closed. They were so sweet and waited for me so I wouldn’t be without my car for the weekend.
We would definitely recommend this place if you need your car serviced. The prices were good too.

Sam and his staff repaired my jeep in a matter of hours. Dropped off my sons 89 jeep Cherokee with a crazy front end damage from off roading at 1pm, out a few hours later. Sam had to fabricate a new front end lower control arm bracket that had ripped off the frame. Thanks Sam

Bogarts is awesome! Chris, Sam and Thomas are all competent guys that really care about taking care of the customer. I was waiting the other day for my car to be finished and an older lady stopped who needed some air in her tires. Sam stopped what he was doing, went out to her car to talk to her and had her on her way in a few minutes. You could see on her face how much she appreciated being treated with such kindness. Don’t go anywhere else, once you go to Bogarts you will not be disappointed and will be a customer for life!

My husband stumbled across these guys on the Internet. The heater core went out on our wrangler and they fixed it in 1 day for about half what the dealer would have charged. 14 months later it went again. We called them and THEY OFFERED without being solicited (or yelled at) to replace it for FREE! Turns out it was a defective part… beyond their control, but they took responsibility for it. No questions asked. No arguments. We expected they would charge us again. NOPE! Pretty sure that wouldn’t happen at the dealer. Good work. Friendly staff. We will be back.

Great job on my tranny service thanks guys. Sammy and tomcat rock. From rebuilds to tranny service and even a flat tire these guys can help. The best part is no one there is under pressure from stock holders to make a sale.

I LOVE Bogarts! Found them on Unilocal and went based on all the other good reviews. My dad’s F350 Diesel had an oil leak and we needed to figure out what the problem was. I called last night and spoke with Chris, the owner, he said I could bring it in the next day. No appointment was needed for them to take a look. Sam, the mechanic, was super helpful, I mentioned I was on my lunch break and he got the truck up right away to take a look at it. I never once felt like I was being upsold or lied to. The truck needed a new oil cap ring thingy (I don’t know the technical name for it). He ordered the part and said it would get there in about 15 – 20 min. I needed to run a quick errand so I thought I’d just leave and come right back. When I got back I figured I would then just walk over to work considering my lunch was over and it was just a little ways across the street, BUT Sam offered to have one of the mechanics give me a ride! Yayy! So nice! Saved me a trip of walking uphill in my heels! When it was all done the same nice mechanic (I never got his name) picked me up and took me back. This time Chris was there, he’s funny, nice and he’s got an Australian accent! Who doesn’t love an Australian accent! Anywho, the WHOLE experience was painless, pleasant, and stress-​free!!! My dad’s happy and so am I! I’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend to everyone! =)

Bogarts are awesome. I moved to SoCal from the East Coast and looked many times for a dependable mechanic that wasn’t trying to up sell me into something I didn’t really need (prrrrfect auto… what was I thinking? Lol/​Sigh). The owner Chris is often there, so his knowledge and sense of humor are part of the genuine feel. They’ve always taken care of me which is why even though I moved further south, I still drive up for their help. If you’re looking for a reliable mechanic (especially Jeeps) go to Bogarts!

I happened to find this shop a couple of years ago, and now I absolutely would not go anyplace else for servicing or repairs on my cars. Very good, quick, and honest work at fair prices.

How refreshing to find a first-​rate automotive shop. Everything from the quality of work, attitude, value, knowledge and customer service can’t be beat. I’ve tried many automotive shops and they are hands-​down the best.

Came here out of desperation at the end of March. A shop a couple of streets away I’d pretty much used all my life that used to have a sterling reputation informed me my head gasket needed to be repaired to the tune of $ 2K. (This after spending $ 809 and some change two days earlier when I went in expecting to spend about $ 270 on routine maintenance). A first time ever coolant leak showed up the day after. When the shop looked at the vehicle again they were sure it couldn’t be related to the work and now there was a bigger problem that was not evident during the first visit. Hmmmm.
Not ready to spend so much money on a beloved older car, and stressed thinking I needed to either buy a new one under pressure when there was no time to shop for one or put more cash into it than it was worth… I went down the street at the suggestion of my dad to Bogart’s for a second opinion.
Chris fit me in so they could have a look and I could still get to work on time. After checking a few things, he informed us they just weren’t seeing what the other shop was. Then, one of them took the coolant cap off. When it was off, one could see there was a significant crack in it. My dad stayed with the vehicle while I took the rental to work as they wanted to look over something else.
When I spoke to my dad later, he said they put a new coolant cap on it and told him we should drive it as much as possible and watch the temperature and coolant the next few days. And, they wouldn’t take any money from him until we knew what was up! What?!? So different from my formerly faithful standby.

Drive we did. When I did go in to settle, they only charged $ 13 for the cap. WOW! I am a fan and when I need work done, you know where I will be headed. Thank you, Chris and guys at Bogart’s. Nice to know there are still some good guys in the business.

It’s been about a month since my repair and owner Chris checked up to make sure everything was okay. Once again going the extra mile and great service. Excellent.

These guys know what they are doing with automobiles. If you want it done right, take your vehicle here. You will be treated well and your car will get fixed for a reasonable amount.

Avoid the dealer’s BS and long wait. This shop is pretty straightforward and honest in their service. Reasonable rates and the people there know what they are doing. Friendly and professional staff. I would do business with them again.
