I have yet to purchase something that blows my mind and makes me Unilocal,«Only at BB&B!»

My now husband and I created our wedding registry in early 2014 in preparation for our wedding in May 2014. We worked with T.O., who was extremely helpful and we were thrilled with everything we both registered for and received at our wedding. We chose the Noritake Colorwave dishes, and as they were our first official «adult» dishes, we couldn’t wait to use them. We bought our first home this past year and did not really get to start using our dishes until we were settled in to our new place. We washed them both by hand and on our normal setting of our dishwasher but for some reason they have been constantly warping, chipping and shattering at even the slightest touch against our sink. We have never dropped a dish, and were extremely frustrated that our new adult dishes that were supposed to be durable enough to last for decades, were breaking at an alarming rate, barely a year into our marriage. Well, fast forward to yesterday, we brought in the broken pieces that we had saved and met with Shozo at the Mission Viejo store to see if anything could be done to replace them. He was SO helpful and we are extremely appreciative for his level of customer service! He worked with us to send back our entire set of dishes (all 8 place settings and even the mini bowls, not just the broken pieces) at no trouble or cost to my husband or I. He also offered for us to switch to an entirely different company, but we really do love these dishes and want to give them another chance. He apologized many times on behalf of the store and the company and assured us that it was not our fault that they broke. He even told us that he was planning on speaking directly to Noritake to discuss the issue and see if they had any information on why this may have happened. He also assured us that if our new set of dishes began to warp and break in the same manner, that at any time we could bring them all back again and still decide to switch to a new company if we aren’t completely satisfied, even if it happens 6 months from now. I just wanted to let you know that Shozo, T.O., and the entire Mission Viejo store (on El Paseo) are all wonderful and have all been extremely friendly, nice, and nothing but helpful with a situation that we honestly didn’t even think could get resolved with anything other than us repurchasing items off of our registry. We are thrilled to have this be our home store and will definitely continue to give them our business!

Unfortunately I will no longer be coming here to buy gifts. I have purchased countless gifts for wedding registries and house warmings here because it’s convenient and they have a lot of selection in all price ranges. and they wrap the gifts for you. Well, they used to wrap the gifts at least. According to them, they don’t wrap anymore because «some people didn’t like the way they wrap» now, if you want the gift wrapped, you have to do it yourself. They have a sloppy, unorganized «self wrap» section in the front of the store now. Everything was out of order and it looked like a tornado had went through all the boxes and tissue paper and gift wrap. This is really inconvienent and unorganized! I had 3 separate small gifts and I found a box to fit them… but the right size top for the box was nowhere to be found. It was so frustrating!!! Especially because they used to wrap and take such good care of their customers. I made a comment to the Cashier on my way out and she responded with «yeah, a lot of people get frustrated with this.» If I go to another wedding that has a registry here, I will not come here. I will get another gift just to not have to deal with the self wrap. That was a bad business choice, bed bath and beyond! I really like your product selection too…

The Bed, Bath and Beyond is out of the way for me, but glad I stopped in. The employees were friendly and helpful. The customers were even better as one gave me a 20% off coupon since I forgot mine.

This location is a bit smaller and that means that the aisles are a bit tight and stuff is kinda packed in everywhere. However, it offers all of the same great options that one would be use to finding at this chain.
There are decent sales and even just walking around in here can entice you into buying things you probably didn’t come in for (think garlic peeler or cutesy tumbler).
If you have registry items you are looking to get, I would check the status of whether this store has the item in stock first since it’s a bit smaller.

I’ve had a an up and down relationship with BB&B over the years. From my overeager «ignore prices» undergrad days to my minimalist, get only what you really need for an apartment young professional days, I have shopped here at least once per life phase.
This store is off the freeway exit, near the Petco.
It’s what you would expect… a huge Costco sized place for home goods.
My main gripes would be the prices. Honestly, you can find things for much cheaper other places. I definitely recommend comparing prices online, and going elsewhere for things like bedding or towels. I would also keep in mind that although the website says a certain product is in stock here, more often than not, it’s inaccurate.
They do have good «bedroom in a bag» sets, which are a lifesaver for an eager college freshman obsessed with finding that perfect Twin XL set.
However, I have found better selections and prices at Target or Home Goods.
Also, some of the prices on items are not the correct price. I scanned my receipt and found that a product rang up $ 10 more than the sticker price. They do have a matching policy, and I was able to get the difference back in cash.
I would be sure to scan the receipt prior to leaving, just to be sure.

Just had a WONDERFUL experience with this location and the College Pack and Hold program. A great service for college students — especially going far away. The Pack and Hold service allows for selecting the items locally and picking up at a BBB near the college. Shozo assisted us with the entire process — registration, item assistance and encouraging both myself and my college bound daughter with this process. HIGHLY recommend to ALL.

Great store! We were approached by two different sales people asking if we need help. One of them took us to the item we were looking for. A third sales representative offered to help as well.
The cashier was very nice and helpful.
I’m very impressed, the staff really seem like they wanted to be there and were happy to help, and interested in the customers. Keep up the good work!

Yesterday was my first visit to this Bed Bath & Beyond location, it was wonderful! Not only do they have everything that normal BB&B store has but they also have a section where you can purchase items that would find at a drug store/​cvs. Above all my experience was fabulous when I checked out, Deborah, was so kind! You don’t often find a person that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and make sure you leave a satisfied customer, but she sure did! This store will definitely be my store for any house items I need, because of the amazing customer service I received from Deborah.

This is a horrible Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It smells like animal urine and the employees are rude, slow, and insulting. They refuse returns at this location due to their own ignorance and inability to do their simple jobs properly. The store is small and just as unorganized and sloppy as a typical Walmart. This location and its very poor customer service made me hate the Bed, Bath, and Beyond chain. I now shop elsewhere.

Worst experience ever. My mom forgot her 20 percent off coupon that you received in the mail and simply asked if they had another one that she could use. Not only did the cashier do everything but laugh in her face she was being too pushy. My mom mentioned that she had just moved from Lake Forest to Laguna Niguel and it’s just simply misplaced. This woman starts probing questions wanting to know the name of her realtor and her email address so she can put her in their database. Wtf?
While all this is going on I’m on RetailMeNot and FAT wallet trying to find an online coupon code when the snooty cashier says we can’t scan an online code from Ir smartphone we have to have the actual physical paper coupon in hand.
So let me get this straight they want my personal information; my home address my email address that also of my friends and family and even my realtors info so they can send me all kinds of bullshit I don’t want anyways but they won’t let me use a coupon code that I found on my smartphone.
Needless to say we walked out. Good job bed bath and beyond way to treat your customers.

This store is smaller than the Tustin one but we found items here that were not sold in Tustin. And vice versa. Some sections are larger than in Tustin and some are much smaller. It seems rather cramped here as they pack in a lot of merchandise — not much aisle space. Everything from dishes and kitchen items to towels and bedding to bathroom stuff, cosmetics and drug store items. I noticed a lot of «As Seen On TV» items as well.
This store is definitely a lot less busy than the Tustin location, probably because it isn’t located in a mall and is more of a stand-​alone store.

Admittedly, I seem to have a love/​hate relationship with BBB. Most are jam-​packed with merchandise that it can often feel claustrophobic. Sales people can be helpful. If you find the right ones. This place is no different. It does seem to be less busy than other locations I’ve visited.
On the plus side, I found exactly what I needed and used a 20% off coupon that made it very affordable. So it’s a great deal if research what you want and you use coupons.

Not really a fan of this location. In general, this location/​property is much smaller than the Tustin one (in my opinion). The space inside just seemed very very compacted and squished. The aisle literally allowed the size of one freaking cart throughout the whole building. The traffic was horrific! It was almost as bad as that 405 Freeway construction period!
Anywho, besides the size of the property, the customer service by all the staff members was very on point. I would definitely say that the customer service here is MUCH better than the Tustin location. In fact, I was so surprised that the check out at the register went so smooth and quick. Im usually used the long and slow register service at the Tustin location.
Another bonus to this location. Its very near the exit of the 405 freeway. I hate driving far after exiting a freeway.

Friendly service. I found a lot of my needed household items with reasonable prices and great deals with using coupons. I gave an extra star for location because it’s great to stop by Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (right next door) after shopping. … Oh ya, did I say that Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is next door? Did I repeat myself?

BB&B survived the financial crash… and continues to offer some incredible prices if you use their 20% discount coupons, mailed relentlessly and continually to most households. I know, because I get them and keep them in the car… just in case I need something for the kitchen, and am «on the road.»
Best deal lately was my Omega VRT400 HDS masticating juicer. Long story short, I did an incredible amount of research on the subject of juicing, decided on my machine, and found best price online of $ 429 from Amazon, with free 2-​day shipping via my Prime Account. BB&B sold me the juicer for $ 429, taxable, free shipping, and let me use one of my 20% discount coupons. I saved $ 60… which for an already discounted appliance, was nice.
Both the MV and RSM location are one of my «toy shops» (the other one is Harbor Freight… I’m also a «tool guy»). Customer service has always been good to excellent, with only a couple «OK» experiences, usually when the sales person isn’t too talkative. But honestly, I have very little if anything negative to share about either location.
I’m still confused over how BB&B can offer their «no-​time-​limit return policy.» How the heck do they do that? From a business standpoint, I have to believe they’re looking at the statistics, and seeing it brings more people back, and adds more gross income than it costs. Also, I’ll bet their vendors agree to take back those returns, or at least, provide some level of credit. (?)

Let me start by saying that the staff here are extra friendly and helpful. They greet with a hello every time I come. The checkout girl was extra helpful and came around to hand me my bags!
They have a very good stock of all the hard to find goodies!
Parking is ample and close proximity to the entrance.
The store layout is shopper friendly and thought out.
They also have some cool snack option at the checkout aisles!
I prefer this location only wish it was closer to home.

I was in the Mission Viejo BB&B looking to buy a new comforter with a retail price of $ 299.00 When I walked into the store there was a sign that said if I signed up for their email or text them that I would receive 20% off a single item. So I signed up right there. When I went to purchase the $ 299.00 comforter expecting 20% off I was told that it would take a week or two to get BB&B to send me the 20% off coupon. I said that I was here right now looking to make the purchase. They told me that I could purchase the item now and they couldn’t give me the 20% off when I came back with the coupon and get the 20% off back as a refund.
Really, I’m here ready, willing and able to spend money in your store and you are willing to let me walk out of your store with the hope’s that I might come back another day? How stupid to let a customer walk out of your store upset who was willing to make a large purchase from you and you wonder why stores like this go out of business. If you did it to me I can assure you that that have done it to 100 more customers.
When I went home I found that a 20% off coupon was sitting right there in my email box. Obviously the girl at customer service lied to me because the 20% off coupon didn’t take a week to receive like she said it would and it was sent immediately all I had to do was check it while I was still in the store. The manager was no help either because she said that they didn’t just hand out 20% off coupons.
Now I’m going to shop around because I know that Sears, Target & JC Penny have the same comforters. If I do go back to BB&B it won’t be this one. When this location goes out of business you will see a big smile on my face and here me say «I told you so!»

I went shopping here yesterday… I dont remember this store being SO expensive. I remember it being on the higher end price wise, but wow.
They have a Yankee «Festival of Lights» candle in their Hannukah area, and it was $ 27.99 OUCH.
I also wanted a small tumbler that had «Fight Like A Girl» with pink boxing gloves. $ 14.99 — when some of the larger ones not breast cancer related were also $ 14.99
I couldnt justify purchasing either of them.
The carts were a mess out front… One was broken and the carts in the other two rows were stuck together — so much to the point where you couldnt get them apart. I saw other people trying as well, so it wasnt just me.
They did have a pack of 100 Cookie Cutters for only $ 9.99 which I thought was fairly priced, so I guess it really just depends on the item. It just seemed like almost everything was a little too high for me. :-/

Bed, Bath & Beyond is where it’s at.
The chain itself is probably one of my favourite places to purchase items for the home. Personally, I’m most fond of the kitchen accessories, bedding, etc. For ‘bath things’, I find Target to be most helpful.
That aside, this location is great. You never have to queue too long. What you want is generally in stock. So it’s great!
The only downsides are:
1) This shopping center is a bit awkward to get to. There’s one way in and one way out. Literally. I don’t mind, as I think it’s kind of cool, in that quirky way, and it’s super close to where I live.
2) The bridal department isn’t huge here. If you want fine china, you’re better off at the store on Jamboree.
