Bohan’s Quick Lube & Auto Repair

My first trip to Bohan’s was great. I came in to do a repair and they looked at the problem and told me honestly that the repair didn’t need to be done, even though it meant they wouldn’t have my business that day.

Love that it fast it’s always ready in 15 to 20 minutes. It’s my 3^rd time coming and I will continue to bring all my cars here

These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and do excellent work. I took my Buick there today for an oil change. The young lady, Darlene, and a very nice gentleman named Pat both greeted me with enthusiasm and a smile. It seems to be a family-​operated business, which I fully support.
Oil change was fairly typical, but it did turn out I needed a new air filter, which I agreed to have installed. The young lady took the time to show the old one (which was extremely dirty) and stated that while they didn’t have the replacement in the shop, it would only take about fifteen minutes to have a new one delivered. It was not a problem for me, as Bohan’s maintains a clean and comfortable waiting lounge with cable TV and drinking water. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality work at fair prices.

Unfortunately had a bad experience at this establishment. Mechanics misdiagnosed the probem and the engine still went out despite having already paid $ 2,000 in repairs. No bueno!

I really like this place… I use to go to Weaver Brothers but they closed. The ppl there r nice & very friendly. This service was good & fast. I got an oil change, they cleaned my car too…

Very friendly spot and appears to be family owed. Great prices and I surprised how fast the service was. I only went for an oil change, but I know I’ll be going back for anything else my car may need in the future.

In the search for honest and good mechanics, I’ve got to say that Bohan’s really fits the bill. I had to find a good, reliable mechanic out in the valley, since I commute there from Culver City 5 days a week. I’ve gone there at least 3 – 4 times for everything from oil changes to major service like a timing belt replacement for both my cars, and each time has been met with fast, informative and friendly service, with a price that can’t be beat.
Out here in L.A. where we rely so heavily on our cars, a good and reasonably-​priced mechanic is a godsend. So I’m sticking to this place like glue. Check ‘em out, and ask for Joe!

So professional and courteous. Trustworthy and fast service. I used to take my Corolla to the Toyota dealership for service, but I get a much better deal and friendly service at Bohan’s.

I came here to get an oil change, mostly because I drove by another place that had a ton of cars. I had passed by a couple days prior and noticed the price $ 24.95, perfect!
I came in and it maybe took 15 minutes, which was great. However, the best part is that they didn’t try to tell me anything was wrong with my car. No talk of needing new filters, no telling me that my oil was leaking, etc. which almost always happens to me because I’m a female. I will definitely be returning!

I took my 99 Nissan Altima in to Bohan’s concerned that my car was going to overheat due to a broken radiator cap. I left my car early on a Mon morning for a thorough check and by lunch time I was notified there was no serious issue. They replaced my broken cap that was from an auto parts store with a dealer brand. They tested the car for 45 minutes and reassured me there shouldn’t be a leak. This was almost 2 months ago and I haven’t had any problems with the cap becoming lose. I’m very satisfied with their honesty and reasonable price. Not at all like Jiffy Lube where I went for a simple oil change and left paying a balance of $ 150 for an oil change and replaced air filter! I was embarrassed when I found out the air filter was available for $ 5 at an auto parts store and wouldn’t require much manual labor to replace. I definitely feel I can trust Bohan’s with quick, reliable and honest service. I will definitely return for my next need! Thank you Bohan’s!

I too was a refugee in search of an honest mechanic after Weaver Bros. shut down. I dealt with both Darlene and Joe and found them to be open, honest, and accommodating (I dropped my car off after their normal closing hours). I went for my 100,000 mile service and they were honest about what needed to be done and what could wait a while longer. The prices were fair and much cheaper than going to the dealer. I will be returning!

I was so impressed with the service the first time around when we came for an oil change… Today I came in to have a tune up on my car… When picking it up I asked if everything else was good on the car and I was told yes… I get in the car and see the oil change was not done… The place I usually get tune ups includes the oil change… My bad for not asking to confirm if it was included or not but what really got to me is when I came back in to ask… The same guy I spoke to to check the car in who just told me everything else was fine asks me if it the car needs an oil change ?? I’m like the last oil change was done here, the due date & miles due is clearly on the sticker you guys put on there & they didn’t even bother to check the oil? So when he said everything else was fine it wasn’t and apparently they didn’t even check so how would he know? I know we didn’t discuss the oil change and I own up to it being my bad for not asking, but if they worked on my car it would have been nice for them to notice and place a courtesy call to say hey by the way you’re also due for an oil change would you like for us to do it since the car is here? That would have been exceptional customer service, not telling everything else was fine when you obviously didn’t even check after you already had my car for like 5 hours and now I have to wait again for an oil change totally not cool! I don’t see us coming back here again :0(

I used to go to Weaver Brothers Auto nearby, right up until they had to close when their landlords finally decided not to renew their lease. (Still very sad about that, went to Weaver Bros. for 9 years.)
However, Tom and Bob and Weaver Brothers forwarded their phones to Bohan to take care of their customers, and Bohan’s did a great job picking up where the Weavers left off in my life.
The phone service was precise and very friendly, the service at the shop took under an hour for an oil change, tire rotation, and replacement door handle, (driver’s side, interior) that had been driving me crazy. (I had ordered the part on the phone 2 days earlier and came in on Saturday for the service.)
If you’re looking for a great, family owned shop for your car, come to Bohan’s! They gave me a fair shake, but more importantly, I feel like the relationship I had with the guys at Weaver Brothers has now extended to here at Bohan’s… and that’s really the most important thing!

Try Bohan’s once and I guarentee you will make this your mechanic! They are honest and they have the greatest customer service i have seen in a long time! Darlene is always so nice and helpful. 5 stars all the way! they have two locations! Awesome service. I am so glad I have found my family mechanic!!!

I’ve taken my car here a couple of times and I’m so happy I found a shop I can trust. I’ve taken my car in for it’s usual upkeep and its very comforting to find a place where they know me on a first name basis.
People at the front desk are friendly and always greet me with a big smile and coffee! =)
The connection I made with this auto shop brings a feeling of acclamation to me. And only hope it continues to transform as a staple in the community it serves. Great job guys! =)

Thank you Bohan’s! I was having car problems and my friend recommended Bohan’s I took in my car and they did a great job! Everyone was very nice and also was affordable! Also took in my mom’s car after for an oil change and I was in and out quick! I will definitely be going back!
