Please beware if you are staying at Sandestin and purchase the breakfast tickets with your stay you will be limited to ordering items that do not included seafood and just coffee, tea or juice at this restaurant. Will never make that mistake again. Long waits to eat during busy season so be prepared. Shrimp and grits amazing as it crab cake ‘s Benedict. unfortunately neither can be ordered with coupon.

Delightful! We’d been when under a different concept and it was average.
Today, however was spectacular! Hubs had a breakfast version of shrimp and grits with a chorizo based sauce and poached egg, so asked for a serving of it for my Espagnola omelet (with chorizo). Great views, fabulous food, quick and attentive service and plenty of menu options.
Having to access through the gate
To the neighborhood makes you wonder if you’re in the right place-​no worries. You are!

Their food is so delicious! I got the croissant, eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. The croissant tastes homemade and was huge. The turkey sausage was on point and the breakfast potatoes had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. We also had the orange cinnamon roll which was only ok. The orange glaze did taste as though they used fresh squeezed orange juice!

We recently had breakfast on a Sunday morning here and it was delicious! There was no wait and I agree that the Gouda grits were the BEST! Also, everything was prepared as we requested (extra crisp bacon, etc.). From the restaurant description, the restaurant overlooks the bay so I assumed that there were open windows and all the tables were open to the bay or had a view of the water. Unfortunately there were no open windows and there were only five or six tables outside which were occupied so we were unable to sit outside or get a table with a good view. But we had children who were hungry so we were happy to get a table with no wait
on a busy morning!

Wow! Amazing place for the entire family. Had a great brunch today at Sunset Café — based on reviews we decided to give it a go. So glad we did. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The Gouda cheese grits were everyone’s fav!!! You must order this! The kids loved their French toast and the bacon was made to perfection! My crab and shrimp Omelet was good but the cheese grits were too hard to top. My husband ordered the shrimp PO boy which was huge. Bring your appetite and you won’t be sorry. For around $ 55 we had an amazing meal and will definitely be returning!!!
PS — the staff and owner were very courteous too! Love this place!

My husband and I went for breakfast over Labor Day weekend and got seated right away. Delicious omelettes with chorizo and queso, get the grits with cheese, Yum! We will be back for dinner soon.

The food was meh and the service was horrible. We sat for 10 minutes before a host saw we were just sitting and came and got our drink order and then another 5 –10 minutes before the server came. The food came out timely but like I said, meh. Then the server took another 10 mins to cash us out taking care of other customers orders refills etc with our bill on her hand.

Wonderful! Very flavorful fish tacos with fried plantains… Some of the best I’ve had. Hubby had the club he was very happy. Sitting with the beautiful bay view was so relaxing. So so glad I found this place on Unilocal!Was so tired of FRIED food. Owner came to our table and introduced himself, we wish him all the best!

Service started out good and positive but didn’t end quite that well. Waitress became overwhelmed with 1-​large group table and forgot about ours. So oh well… we don’t frequent Destin this was just a mini vacay. Food was decent but view is great!

Not sure why this place is rated well. We came at 9am sunday and nobody was here yet so we asked to sit at end closest to bay. They then proceeded to seat 12 party right next to us. I got the pancakes and they were really thick and tasted like baking soda. The food also took awhile to come although not many people eating at that time. My mom ordered a coffee and we had to ask twice to get it then they didnt bring cream I had to walk back into restaurant to get it for her. My husband ordered an ice coffee and it never came. For 4 of us for just breakfast it was $ 80!!! They extra charged for everything like whip cream with french toast, onions on an omelet and choc chips in pancake. Definitely will not be back!

We visited for breakfast one morning while on vacation. There were only a few other people there, so we were able to get seated and served immediately. The outside patio has a nice view of the bay, sit out there if the weather isn’t too humid.
We started with the cinnamon roll which is apparently a specialty there. It was just ok. It came absolutely drowning in orange cream cheese. The roll itself was a bit gummy. I had the bananas foster french toast, hubby had eggs, ham, home fries, toast and gravy. His toast was burnt to hell, he wasn’t able to eat any of the four pieces. It was a decent meal. Nothing out of this world, just your basic breakfast. Service was good, location is easy to find with lots of parking.

I had breakfast here with my family before driving back to Ga. This place had he best view of the ocean! Very relaxing and nice view as well. You have a option of sitting outside or inside, even sitting inside you’ll still see the view from outside.
Food was pretty good and big as well. Half of my family order the egg Benedict with other stuff in it as well.
–The roast beff Benedict was pretty good and if you are into beff for breakfast then this is your dish.
–The surf and turf Benedict was ok. Crab cake with eggs on top and it wasn’t the best crab cake.
–The hillbilly Benedict was really good. Fries chicken and fries grits was amazing! Very crispy and tasty!
We even ordered the Surf omelet and this dish was so good! So much crabs meats in the middle and shrimps! I was in heaven! We had another omelet with bacon and sausage and and veggie as well, which was really good.
Out of all this place is really good and a very relaxing breakfast place to eat!

I’ll start off with the view. The view was very nice to look out to while eating. I really enjoyed it! The food, oh my god. Yum!!! The open windows allowed natural lighting in to the restaurant and it was beautiful. The food was amazing honestly. I also really enjoyed being able to write on the table! Perfect brunch food if you ask me. It’s also in the area of sandestin which is really convenient!

This place rocks! Had chef salad with amazing homemade dressing already tossed in. Grilled shrimp and cheese was great! Plantains with coconut dip where out of this world! Reasonable prices and friendly staff! Christopher treated us like kings and queens!

BEST breakfast spot in Sandestin area! Food is fantastic, service was friendly and efficient — best part is the view of the bay!!! They also have lunch until 2. I love when the Manager comes to each table to check on the guests. Manager and Jessica genuinely cared about guests experience –I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
