I am reviewing the sushi section — I want to thank the sushi chef for making fresh sushi and most importantly being so careful with my son’s allergy. I asked if he can make vegetarian sushi because my son is allergic to seafood. He said yes and after making my order, he went and change cutting board and gloves and knife. He said: I want to make sure your son is safe! He is super friendly and caring. If I ever visit Minneapolis again I will definitely buy from him again!!!

Never will i return. To this location. The custo serv is horrible. Managers are lost with any knowledge.

I work nearby so I run in often due to the convenience and I can’t get past how rude the employees are — both in the pharmacy and the check out I have personally seen employees mock and argue with customers due to the poor layouts in each area. It wouldn’t hurt to remind these team members that they are in a customer service industry.

This is a great location for a Walgreens and their product mix is really conducive to the downtown clientele. They have a fairly broad food selection, nice health and beauty selection. Checkout is quick. Staff is helpful. One of the better Walgreens I’ve been to! Clean and fresh.

Yes. It is a Walgreen’s. Let’s just get that out of the way up front. It is hard to be excited over a convenience store. That said, Walgreen’s has done a couple of things that have really made this location something special.
First the store is well laid out. The products do not feel jammed in or junky (I’m looking at you Macy’s Minneapolis). The store is well let and so clean you could eat off the floor.
Product selection is pretty extensive. Anything you would need for an emergency purchase or to stock your desk with your favorite snacks.
But the sushi puts it over the top. Wait, sushi? At a Walgreen’s? Yes. And pretty good sushi at that. Unlike sushi you get at the supermarket which often has dried out rice, here the sushi rice was fresh and just about perfect. A little too much use of sauces like on the spicy tuna roll for my taste but others will love it. There is a very good selection and the Chef Sampler’s are well thought out. I had Chef Sampler B which was tuna and salmon sushi. The prices were fair and the fish tasted very fresh. The sushi is definitely worth a stop for lunch.

This is the best Walgreen’s I’ve ever been to. The store is so clean the staff is super friendly and my favorite Cashier I’ve ever encountered works at this store (Seaton). Seaton is hands down the best anywhere which says a lot seeing as I’ve lived in three different cities including Chicago. He is always happy to see me (and everyone for that matter). He’s always joking with customers, singing along with whatever tune is playing in the store. To be completely honest he is the only reason I come here on a daily basis.
I love love this Walgreen’s!

Even though I am a CVS girl at heart, I have come here on a few occasions because it is super convenient. From what I have seen, I like it. They have a large variety of products and always seem to have deals if you have a Walgreen’s card. It is two stories as well which makes it seem really big. It is also right in the Skyway so if you are already traveling indoors, there is no need to go outside.

I love the sushi inside the downtown Walgreens. It is fresh, complex and balanced. They even give free samples. It was a little shocking to me that the sushi was so good. I mean, it’s Walgreens. But give it a try it, I think you’ll like it.
