History

Established in 1993.

After Gregory worked in wholesale jewelry for a dozen years in Los Angeles he moved back to his roots in Minneapolis and set up a custom designed jewelry studio in the Linden Hills neighborhood, where he grew up as a kid.

After 17 years of operating a little bit behind the scenes (behind a quilt store for many years and then above The Bibelot gift shop for the last 5 years) he finally opened a storefront recently (March 2011) just a few doors away from The Bibelot in between Clancey’s Meats and The Heart Of Tibet store.

Now he and his cohorts are busy taking custom orders in the new location as well as making up all kinds of cool and unique jewelry for immediate sale.

He has posted hundreds of pictures of previous and current projects on the his website. You’ll also find a couple youtube videos posted there to give you a feeling for his work and personality. Go take a look!

Meet the Business Owner

Gregory B.

Business Owner

Gregory creates custom designed jewelry for clients worldwide. His jewelry career spans over 3 decades creating and selling the unique and uncommon.

His philosophy: «I make jewelry for the same reason you wear jewelry — beauty touches the soul.»

Gregory’s career started in his early twenties sparked by a casual conversation with a jewelry maker in Texas who he met at a meditation retreat. He briefly apprenticed himself to a jeweler in Iowa, then moved to California for 12 years to refine and hone his skills working in various aspects of the jewelry trade, eventually running a jewelry trade shop specializing in custom orders and repairs.

Then in 1992 Gregory moved back to his hometown, Minneapolis, to live closer to his aging father. Six months later he opened his first retail design studio in the Linden Hills neighborhood in Minneapolis. Now, 18 years later and still in Linden Hills, in 2011 he opened a new storefront a few doors down, with easier access and greater visibility.
