As a husband and wife team, we use photography and cinematic video to tell poetic wedding day stories. Our priority is to document love and our passion is storytelling.

We have a creative and genuine approach to photographing weddings. We combine art and emotion to create images that we hope evoke feelings and inspiration every time you see your images and films. As artists first and foremost, we want our photos and films to be as dynamic and special as our clients themselves. We think our background in editorial and documentary photography and ability for making people feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera have resulted in helping us make wedding images and films that are truly treasures of art.

Love Stories are at the heart of what we do. We are there to tell your story and we put everything we have to photograph your wedding in a unique way. Depending on your package, we use a combination of still photos, audio and video to create a seamless film — your love story

History

Established in 2009.

We often get asked what is The Love Project?

As documentary photographers, some of the things we see and photograph are tough. We decided that we need to document something that was a little lighter and full of joy so we began documenting love. It was called The Love Project and we documented people of all ages who were in love. It was fulfilling and rewarding as we loved photographing people on the most important days of their lives.

We decided to continue The Love Project and photograph love on one of the most defining days of a relationship, one’s wedding. Not only do we hope our photographs spark the memory that you felt when you said your vows, we hope our documentation of love helps generations beyond us know that despite the ills of the world, love still exists and can be defined by those you surround yourselves with.

Business Owner

We are a husband and wife team based in Minneapolis. When we aren’t scheming up our next big plans on our walks around Lake Nokomis you can find us traveling the world working for editorial and commercial clients and editing Emmy-​winng films. We met in grad school where we earned our master’s degrees in photography and film but we earned so much more; each other’s love.

As a team and married couple, we feel very blessed to be able to work every day as artists and pour our heart and soul into our work. We love being photographers because it allows us to explore the world and meet new people. We are both innately curious people who think we can change the world «one starfish at a time».
