I love simple but unusual cuts that fit a dog’s bone structure, and once we have discovered this formula we just stick to it with baths every 3 weeks. And a good cut /​shaping every 6 – 8 weeks. We have had a 24 pound proud Bichon Frise from Virginia Beach. Another smaller one and now our 9 pound Shiz tsu with long swishy bell bottom legs. A tight trim body neck, long tail. Longer mustache /​cheeks ears and a small top not on top of the head. Yes sounds RIDICULOUS. But the breeder sold her to us looking like this, it fit her personality so perfectly that we kept it for 8 years. My super macho. Spouse, who 16 years ago said, «I will NOT be caught dead walking a tiny froo froo dog like that!!» Now treats her more thoughtfully and lovingly that his own daughters !!! I keep yelling at him to stop giving her SO many treats !!
We used to have the BEST groomer, Chantelle at LuLu and Luigi when they first moved and before they sold their business. Since then we have had descent folk elsewhere, (new owners were very different). and a few disasters which take 2 years to grow back (trimming too much around the eyes nose which create eye disease/​problems). But no one as outstanding as Chantelle who works far away I think north of Fridley, from home with 3 little boys.
Donita is FIRST, a truly golden MAGNIFICENT huge hearted boisterous joyful human being! The finest and most rare. She works her SOCKS off. And Donita repaired horrific damage done in August by Premier Pet Salon of Plymouth when they over shaved our dog after my husband (alone for 9 weeks while my daughter was in a hospital out East) failed to brush her.
Yes HIS fault, but PREMIER PET SALON who knew the caution around the eyes, how we worked so hard to grow out the hair so it would not enter her eyes… chopped EVERYTHING. And weeks of grooming after that Premier did terrible trims– almost as if they did not want us as customers. Our dog became extremely ugly. — looked like a stupid rabbit (!) with a huge round face long skinny floppy ears puffed out torso and choppy completely irregular unbalanced body shaping 1 – 2 inches long. PREMIER PET charged us $ 120 for cuts. $ 60-​$ 80 for baths. And would not allow ANY knots or snarls. ($ wd go up up up). I became deeply depressed, desperate and thanks to Unilocal,found Donita Jackson.

We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and are pretty new to owning and caring for a dog. I found Donita through Unilocal and the positive reviews on the site (because I didn’t know where to start). He needed more care and grooming than we could provide.
Donita got Bowie looking fabulous after his first visit and I’m sure it was quite a lot of work because he had matts and needed to be combed out and trimmed, etc. Now we are seeing her for maintenance and he looks great. Plus, she is sharing her knowledge of his breed and how to care for him.
Donita is friendly, experienced, outgoing, and clearly loves dogs and what she does. Plus scheduling with her is a breeze. We plan to be regular customers.

I am writing this review in regards of Megan who went out of her way to come in and give my maddy girl a lion cut. What a fine cut it was too! she has such a award winning personality with the patience of knowing that Maddy can be a real fire plug. the wife’s cat will be going their for his lions cut in a couple of weeks. and to think that one of her competitors said that they might have to put Maddy under to do it. Megan saw it as a challenge customers for life thanks

I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi who sheds like crazy and has a double coat. She goes nuts when her nails are cut. I figured I would take my pup to K9 & Kitty Kutters when it opened a few blocks from where I live. Highly recommend this place. My pup loves going everytime I say groomer and she see’s Megan (her groomer)-my pup smiles! .They are open by appointment only.

Donita Jackson, owner of Pet Fabulous Grooming, works from her home or will come to your home to groom your pets (dogs or cats). She’s been grooming my Coton de Tulear since he was a puppy and always does an amazing job.
She’s a true animal lover with three dogs and at least one cat of her own. I hope I never have to take my Nano to another groomer because Donita rocks and Nano has so much fun going over to her house and playing with her dogs.
She will also provide pet-​sitting/​boarding in her home. She’s super awesome!
