Lutheran Church of Christ the Redeemer Elca

Full disclosure: this is my church, so of course I’m biased. Things I love about it:
Size– it is a smallish congregation; so everyone gets to know you, and vice versa.
Music– I think there’s a large proportion of musically-​inclined people at this congregation. The singing and music from the congregation is AMAZING, not to mention the bell choir and choir and children’s choir and. .. . well, it is just great.
Preaching and pastoral care– Pastor Mary taught preaching classes at Luther Seminary in Saint Paul for a while before the congregation called her. She is dependably awesome, and also very personable and caring in daily life.
Care for mission & justice– this congregation recently learned of immigrants from Togo who had need, so now we have taken steps to include them in the congregation, in a variety of ways. The congregation also has a special concern for affordable housing, for justice in Israel/​Palestine, and for LGBT people.
That’s a start. But it’s a great congregation IMO and I hope you’ll visit!
