I came to Hawkins Auto on a friend’s recommendation and they’ve serviced my cars for the last 5+ years. They are amazing guys to work with on vehicle repair. Not only will they explain things in layman’s terms, but they will walk you through legitimate options that will work for just about any budget.
I had a vehicle that kept throwing on the check engine light. While we suspected that it was a known error that didn’t need repair, they still offered to run the diagnostic as a courtesy and to ease my mind. Where are you ever going to find that kind of customer service?
I too have never used their courtesy cars, Caribou and Bruegger’s is just down the block and are more than happy to let you hang out while Hawkins does their finest.

I have used this place many times from tires to brakes, as well as just for my regular oil changes. I love my mechanic Jason and have always been treated well. I never feel as though I am being taken for granted and they are extremely honest on what needs to to be done ASAP and what I can wait a bit longer to budget for. I know I pass at least 20+ shops on my way here from my house, but I am willing to do so for this service.
They do have loaner cars, I haven’t needed it as Caribou is within walking distance and I usually just hang there until the work is done.
