Frenz Brake and Automotive is a complete vehicle service center. From brakes to door handles, check engine light diagnosis to complete overhauls; we can do it all. We have diagnostic capabilities and knowledge to repair all domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. We offer same day service, pick up and delivery, and shuttle service to your home or place of work. All technicians are ASE certified.

History

Established in 1916.

The grandfather of Joe Frenz started this business in 1916, repairing brakes on Model T’s (pictures are hanging in the customer lobby). As the business grew Joe’s father took over the business and moved it to it’s current location in 1946. Later, Joe and his brother took over and operated it until this past year. In 2014 the building was completely remodeled by it’s current owner.

Frenz was started in 1916, relining brakes on Model T Fords, by the Grandfather of Joe Frenz. It was passed on to his father and then to him. Being 3^rd generation, this auto repair shop has always focused on taking care of it’s customers. We have customers that are 3^rd generation!

In the mid 40’s we expanded to full service auto repair and continue to offer any mechanical automotive service needed today.
