If you want your knives sharpened by someone who cares, this is the place. They put edges on my brothers and sisters knives that are excellent — and reshaped a couple beautifully. They know the different shape for French, German, and Japanese knives and really care about them. If you treasure your kitchen knives — go see them. They also have a great selection of mostly German cutlery, but the Kikuichi knives are gorgeous —

Good sharp knives are essential to cooking. With a sharp, ergonomic knife and some basic knife skills a person can become an efficient home cook who can provide healthy, delicious and inexpensive meals quickly and without a lot of fuss. If you take care of a good knife will last you a lifetime. You can easily get by with three: a chefs knife, a paring knife, and a serrated bread knife (a bread knife is good for a lot more than bread — tomatoes for example). You also need to keep them sharp.
Eversharp is a great place to buy knives and have them sharpened. They will put a razor edge on your knives and you will be amazed at the difference it makes. They have a tremendous selection of knives particularly Wusthoff which makes a large selection of reasonably priced knives (not cheap but they are going to last you a long, long time). They also have reconditioned knives which can be a real bargain.
I love good knives so I am sorely tempted every time I go to Eversharp. I own a lot more than the basic three I mentioned above but I still use only three with any regularity. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and love to show you the latest offerings so if you go don’t be surprised if you come home with a new beauty for your knife holder.

Nobody knows knives like the staff at Eversharp. Joe is a master at sharpening anything. Scissors, blades, knives. You name it. My Japanese knives came back razor sharp. Even my low end knives come back like new.
I can almost never walk out of the store without something new. The sales staff really know their products.

I cannot say enough awesome things about this place. I bring my knives in once or twice a year for sharpening and they never disappoint. When your kitchen knife is struggling to get through those onions or celery, don’t go buy a new knife bring your knives to Northeast and get them sharpened. I am always amazed at the difference when I get home. This time my first victim was a perfect, green bell pepper; my like-​new-​knife went through it like it wasn’t even there and for only $ 3 this is the best kitchen investment you can make.
Others have mentioned their knife selection which is huge… I believe they are the largest Wusthof dealer in the US, they have everything, even down to Wustof finger nail clippers. I had a couple questions comparing several knives and the gentleman who sharpened my knife also talked to me about the various differences in knife quality and even pulled out some celery for me to practice on. As others have mentioned the prices are hard to beat, there is always something on sale and the staff will tell you what they really think about all their knives.
All in all, I love this store. Prices have gone up, I paid a whole $ 3 to have my chef’s knife sharpened and they will see me again in July just as salsa season heats up

A factory outlet for some high quality knives, cutting boards, and kitchen supplies. We came for some cutting boards but added a fantastic Japanese knife and more to our pile. They also carry the top brand of kitchen thermometers — get one, accuracy matters. The staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. They also sharpen knives. Love this place.

Incredible service and value. I walked in with 9 knives and a pair of shears and walked out with sharp knives 15 minutes later! The staff was insanely friendly. I am moving to Denver later this month — but I am going to use their mail-​in sharpening service. In addition to their great service, they also have a huge selection of knives. This place is great!

We drove all the way from Eagan for Eversharp and they didn’t disappoint.
Knife Sharpening– a chef knife is 3 dollars, when we walked in there was no waiting and the whole thing took about 2 minutes. While your knife won’t have the mirror gloss of doing it by hand on a high grit stone it came back more than sufficiently sharp for general kitchen use. The knife we brought in was a Shun Classic that hadn’t been sharpened in over a year and had gotten noticeably dull. When we returned home it was once again flying through onions with no noticeable resistance.
Store– they have a huge selection of knives in the store and most of them seemed to be priced pretty reasonably so if you are looking to get an expensive Japanese knife and want to test the feel /​handle etc this would be a good place to shop. They also have a large selection of Wustoff knives if you want a more classic French knife.

I went in to Eversharp to have my knife sharpened and I left know way more about knives than I ever did. Customer service is excellent very knowledgeable. These people know what they are talking about! They have great sales going on. Prices are pretty typical for what you would spend at other places. My knifes are sharper than they have ever been. NICE WORK! I will definitely be giving them my business all the time.

In the neighborhood and decided to get my knives sharpened (yes, this happens to me all the time), as some of you know, I cook a lot (actually I eat more than I cook) and demand my knives to be sharp @ all times.
In come this place! Wow, they have a huge collection. They pretty much have everything!
They only charge only $ 2 sharpening per knife — what a great price. EVERYBODY was rediculiously nice and helpful in the store. I could have spent @ least 2 – 3 hours in there to look @ all the different knives they have there and probably cut myself in the process. Again, wow! If you are a serious cook — this is the place to be. Must go there again. I will bring my drool and first aid kit next time…

Just couldn’t wait to come home and try out our newly sharpened knives. So after eating dinner out and not being remotely hungry, decided that I had to slice up an apple.
Seriously it was like we were living in the dark ages and somebody gave us light. Sharp knives make all the difference in the world. The actual weight of the knife was all I needed to slice straight through. No effort at all.
The one question I didn’t get to ask is if it really is safer to have a sharp knife in the kitchen — I’m guessing yes since you aren’t as likely to slip while forcing the knife into your food to chop? Dunno.
What I do know is that I will be back. They do this while you wait. If you go over lunch, be prepared to wait. If you go at 2 or 3, you’ll be the only person in the shop and will be out in under 10 minutes or so.

I dropped my favorite santuko wusthoff knive down my garbage disposal. shreek! called these guys up and they fixed it up in no time.

My husband very generously gave me a lovely set of knives for Christmas this year. Did you realize that cooking and minute chopping goes by much more quickly when you’re using real knives?
Now, I’ll grant you that they weren’t the top-of-the-line-this-year’s-models but they are gorgeous knives that, if properly maintained, should last me for many years to come.

You walk in and are in great company — business cards from all the well-​known area restaurants are displayed under the glass covered counter-​top.
Jo immediately recognized my Cutco knives and was kind when he spoke of them. Since I’d taken all my knives to be sharpened and because they had just ended their discount service promo, he discounted the usual price. They offer $ 1/​knife sharpening promos 1 – 3 times a year and you can sign up by email for notifications. Joe Gamache is the knife sharpener and he was super friendly.
Admired and tried some of the Wusthof knives they have. Ended up buying Wusthof kitchen shears that was discounted.

Got dull knives? This is the place to go, no questions asked. Heard about this place from a professional chef-​friend a few years ago and hit it regularly. Once your knives are sharp, working with dull knives makes you crazy.
Great deals, great knife selection if you need to replace them. Quick, easy and to messing around. (And while I was waiting I started talking to one of the guys in the office about the collection of Allis Chalmers Tractor models he has in his office. Turns out he knew my grand-​father from Pierz MN from over 50 years ago. Small world.)

I took our Shun knives there to be sharpened. The guys at the shop were pleased to see my knives and asked me a lot of questions about them. The sharpened them and polished the handles…5 knives for $ 10 total! Amazing! They will sharpen anything and have amazing deals on Wusthof products and Epicurean cutting boards. I real gem!

I love this place! I brought 6 wusthof knives in to be sharpened today and they were done quick as a wink and holy sharp batman! The two gentleman in the shop were personable and extremely helpful. I also left with a new (refurbished) straight paring knife at a significant discount and even got a mini tutorial on the best way to hold my new acquisition. I’ll be back in a few months!

Eversharp does a terrific job sharpening knives while you wait. They have a full selection of Wusthof knives at prices below other kitchen stores. The refurbished knives are an excellent value — I got a refurbished, less gorgeous-​looking, but still excellent meat cleaver — new would be $ 100 or more — for $ 50, and it takes chickens apart just as effectively.

This place is GREAT! I went in to orginally get my knives sharpened and ended up getting a new knife, knife block and knife folder… But they did an amazing job sharpening the knives I brought in and it is really inexpensive.
But they also have a great selection of new and refurb knifes and the prices are amazing so if you are looking to get a new knife or get yours sharpened this is the place.
