Went for salt and pepper shakers. They started at about $ 22 *each.* So I browsed a little, and remembered to get the gold-touch muffin tins I’d promised myself. The gold-touch coating is worth its weight in gold. Remembered that if we were going to put our house on the market, I’d need some decent-looking linens for the kitchen. Found some just-right ones. Also some to use now. Chatted with a staff member about food, and how different foods can affect your brain and your health. Nice to have an intelligent talk with someone who knew what she was talking about. Pored over the gadgets, sauces, mixes, pans, tins, liners, soaps, lotions, the Professional Kitchenaid stand mixer(!$ 899!), and the holiday treats. Was a little grossed out by the cakes and muffins just sitting out as displays, exposed to the air and the world. Checking out, gave in to the cashier’s up-selling of set of 3 mini-spatulas(already came in handy – well, one has, anyway). So: Great store, great merchandise, great quality, slightly high prices on most items, annoying up-selling, knowledgeable staff, and does anyone know where I can find some affordable salt and pepper shakers?
