The Bun Mi sandwich consists of the French baguette with the addition of BBQ pork, grilled beef, and lemongrass chicken. The meats are also complimented with crispy cucumbers, sweet-tangy shreds of pickled carrot and daikon, cilantro, green onions, mayo, and that classic French pâté. Add a line or two of Sriracha chili paste, and this is the best sandwich you’ll ever have!
History
Established in 2008.
Background — Ted Sayaraj, Christina Idea, and Sherman Ho have been long time friends since Meadowbrook Elementary, Hopkins Middle School, Hopkins High School, and lastly the University of Minnesota Twins Cities. Ted Sayaraj was a former SAP Data Analyst, Christina Idea was an Account Manager, and Sherman Ho comes from a strong background in restaurant management (Village Wok, Hong Kong Star)
Dream to Reality — Sherman, Christina, and Ted met at the local Sub Sandwich shop during lunch in the summer of 2008. From that point on, they decided that they were going to take on the corporate sandwich giants. Sherman was unemployed at the time and looking to jump start a new career in the restaurant business. Ted and Christina quit their day jobs to start Bun Mi Sandwiches
