History

Established in 1970.

Ace Midwest Moving and Storage has locations in the Twin Cities and Rochester, MN. Originally opened as Ace World Wide in Rochester in 1970, Ace has continuously provided quality moving to our customers for over 40 years. Scott Coyle, a proud veteran, is the owner of Ace Midwest and opened a second branch in the Twin Cities in 2010. Ace continues to grow and provide local, intra-​state, interstate and international moves for COD, national account and military customers.

This company has an A+ rating on the BBB site. I hired them to move me from one 2BR apartment across town, up three flights of stairs to another. They emailed me a quote, and when I said I was nervous about a «non-​binding» quote, they said that through years of experience, they had gotten pretty good at estimating and they WERE RIGHT! Three guys showed up on time and in uniform, disassembled bedroom furniture and carefully moved my big furniture, boxed items and wrapped wall art. They carried everything up three flights at the new building, re-​assembled furniture and were out within 30 minutes of the original estimate!
The sales process was simple (all by email), the moving crew was respectful with my things, clean (no dirty boot tracks to clean up!), and worked efficiently.
If you’re moving in the Twin Cities — call ACE Midwest — I understand that they can even move you cross– country!

Poor customer service and not a good way to make a 1st impression on your neighbors. Blocked a neighbors driveway and were rude when asked to move their truck.

First time moving in many years and these folks made it easy! The crew was prompt and efficient. They were very careful with some challenging glass pieces and some valuable art, all of which were wrapped and transported safely. They gracefully resolved a delivery problem to a rural address with difficult access which required them to come back the following morning. We were extremely satisfied with the move and would definitely use them again as well as recommending them to our friends.

Poor customer service; unprofessional movers; horrible follow up. We spent over $ 3K and had to move a lot of boxes ourselves.

Like the last review, our experience was terrible as well. Honestly, if I could give them less than this one star for their customer service, I would. And couldn’t agree more, there is a COMPLETE disconnect between sales and the movers. The crew is not actually not employed by Ace and are contracted out. Be safe and get the quote in writing with any movers. BBB accredited is recommended because believe me, Ace is not. WORST MOVE EXPERIENCE EVER.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT USE THEM. 6 months later I am owed over $ 1K and still haven’t seen the money AND am being told I’m being sent to collections for a rental car charge I had to pay because they broke the windshield of one car, and the other cars were 5 days late. Complete disconnect between sales and the crew that moves you. beyond frustrating.

These guys were great. Honest, fast, reliable, friendly and funny. Showed up on time, finished faster than estimated, AND they moved more items than we originally estimated. I really don’t know what they could have done to make the day go any smoother and faster for us. We’ll definitely be hiring them for our next move.
