Nassau Cab

It was expensive (which is fine and expected) and cars were clean and prompt. The biggest problem? They promised correctly installed car seats for us (the entire reason we booked with them). When we arrived from a cross-​country flight (tired and exhausted — 10 month old on a plane? Loads of fun.) the car seat was improperly installed and the driver kept trying to convince us that it was «fine» (rear facing and he’d just wrapped a seat belt around it). I had to familiarize myself with a car seat that wasn’t ours and install it myself — slowing the whole process (all the while he was telling me that it was fine and we could go). We finally had to tell him it was illegal and dangerous and that we’d send my husband home in a regular cab to get our car if he didn’t just let us install it. He was perfectly pleasant once the car seat was installed and we were on the road. It makes the automatic 20 percent tip a bit more annoying.

Nassau Cab did it again! Another seamless trip to JFK & LGA airport. They were, once again, on time (3:45 am pick up) and extremely friendly and professional. I was very happy to see SAFETY CONSCIOUS Sam as my driver because I needed more zzzz’s at that hour! Believe me when I tell you, they are the BEST & MOST RELIABLE car service on the Island.

I was extremely impressed with my first experience with Nassau Cab. It is definitely worth the extra few dollars (and it really is only a few extra once you add tip to a normal taxi fare).
My driver was extremely friendly and helpful. I had a text from him upon landing at LGA and was in contact with him up until he picked me up.
I had two large suitcases so I was picked up in a very comfortable and nice Honda minivan.

Airport service was excellent with reasonable cost & on time pick up. Change of international flight was handled very well. Drivers Sal and Sam where the best by far especially communicating their times. Needed info to flight change and would have been helpful if John had responded but DRIVERS were keeping us in the know. Clean new cars too.
Highly recommend.

This company is pretty awesome & I would give these guys 5 stars except for a slight mishap… I paid for mine & my fiances ride to the airport for our destination wedding. I also paid for my nephew’s ride, who was leaving on a separate day. Nephews cab driver didn’t read the itinerary, which the company emails to both drivers and passengers. The ride was prepaid but cab driver told my nephew ride was not paid for, everything was straightened out, but this was scary being that I was in The Dominican Republic and not able to help my nephew. Other than that this company has very professional & friendly drivers! They gave me an awesome rate! Their SUVs are super clean, fresh, and maintained. They arrive ON TIME and I would recommend anyone in LI use this company! Heath is a great driver and so is Steve, ask for them by name!

Excellent car service. Right on time for pickup to airport and was conveniently there when we came out of airport. We had same courteous driver both trips. Everything including the tip was in the price quoted. We will use again and recommend to friends

Nassau Cab picked up on the first call, and the representative was courteous and professional. He gathered all info efficiently and gave me a reasonable quote. To avoid confusion, I was happy the quote included all expenses; tip, tolls, etc.
I received an email confirmation within the hour. The driver texted 30 minutes before pickup time to confirm they were en route, then sent one more text to confirm their arrival, 10 minutes prior to pickup time. The driver was also very courteous, and fortunately both children’s seats we required were already installed properly in the (clean) SUV.
The ride to JFK was safe and efficient, EZ pass lanes were utilized, and our credit card was gladly accepted without hassle. We will use their service again!

Ilya is terrific! He texted me as soon as I landed, and was there waiting for me just outside of baggage claim as soon as I walked outside. He was friendly, a smooth driver, and was very flexible when I needed to change my drop off location. I highly recommend him, and the Nassau Cab Co in general!

Needed to order car service from JFK to Long Island, and being from Los Angeles, wasn’t sure what to do. Two days before trip, got a well-​priced quote online, including gratuity. Setting up the reservation was very easy — all online and confirmations sent via email. Easy payment via credit card, too. Driver, who was a nice and friendly Uzbek man, was waiting upon arrival, and ride went without a hitch.

I found Nassau Cab though the Unilocal and I just can’t get enough of my amazing experience with them. My driver was Ilya K. I was in a desperate searching for a cab company who will take me to JFK with no delays. This guy knows the roads and how to avoid all that NYC traffic. His car was extremely clean and he even offered me some water and on top of that we had some pleasant conversation. We came in the airport earlier that I was planning and Ilya helped me with my luggage. 5 stars is not enough to to rate this car service. Safe ride, excellent service, professional drivers. I definitely will recommend and use them again!

George arrived early to pick up for
Tonys awards night at radio city music hall in nyc. He was calm and pleasant. He also knew other routes when there was the sunday traffic. He got us there on time. It was a good experience. So we would use Nassau again.

Apparently this company does not give rides to train stations even though the company website advertised train drop off service. The two places a cab is needed is the train station and airport. However, a ride to the train station isn’t worth Nassau Cab’s time. Listing «train station» as a destination on a drop down menu is a deceptive and idiotic business practice.

Awesome service. A group of 5 of us needed a cab from a wedding in Oakdale to our home in Wantagh late Saturday night. I made the reservation on Thursday for our Saturday ride, and spoke with John. He was super helpful, quick, and provided a solid rate. I called the day of our reservation to confirm the pick-​up time and was once again greeted with quick friendly service. The wedding wound up ending earlier than planned, so I had to call a second time to see if our group could be picked up an hour earlier. John wasn’t annoyed by the change in reservation time, and quickly got in touch with our driver who sent us updates on the status of the earlier ride. Shortly after I spoke with John, we were picked up by Ali in a beautiful SUV and had the smoothest ride back home.
John and Ali were awesome, and I truly appreciated how accommodating they were. I would 100% recommend this service to anyone needing a safe, reliable, and courteous ride around LI.

After a friend of mine suggested i switch to this company after my old one ditched me at 5AM and never showed and i was forced to drive myself.
All the positive reviews and my buddys rave over this place had me excited to try them.

I just got back from a business trip to Las Vegas and Nassau Cab brought me to and from JFK in the middle of snowy weather. I found Nassau Cab last minute based on reviews from Unilocal and thought i would give them a shot– I spoke with the owner Johnny and he was very accomodating.
The driver on the way there was pleasant and on time– clean car and professional. He had water bottles waiting and got me there quickly.
The driver on my way home (Chris) went above and beyond. I had all kinds of delays and issues with my flight and was very anxious about getting home safely. Chris was at the airport early and waiting for me when my plane arrived late and called me to let me know he would be waiting. He even got out of the car in the middle of the storm so i could find his car and he could put my bag inside
He was a pleasure to be driven by — reliable, safe, professional & clean.
Would HIGHLY recommend Nassau Cab.

Excellent Service!
I needed to arrange a car to drive 5 of us to a graveside memorial service from Cedarhurst to New Montifiore cemetery in West Babylon. I live in California, so I had to pick a company based on the reviews here.
I liked the email confirmation after I called to make the reservation, and the pricing was all up front, with the tip included.
It was a snowy day, but our very professional driver got us there, helped us navigate the cemetery (where the areas aren’t marked very clearly) and drove us back through the snow.
The car was a nice new large SUV that was able to accommodate 5 large adults nicely.
I would definitely use Nassau Cab again. They are extremely professional and courteous.

I was searching for a car service for personal use as using my business car service has caused utter confusion without a voucher, and the rate was fairly high. I used Nassau Cab for the first time between my home on LI and LGA during the holiday season. I used their online reservation system to schedule my pickup for 5:30am to LGA. I was a bit nervous since this was my first time using them and the early departure, so I called, and was reassured by Johnny that all was in order. Like clockwork, my driver called me 5 min before my pickup time to tell me he was approaching the house. The driver was very courteous (and alert, which hasn’t always been the case with other services), and the car was very clean. On top of all of this, the rate was very competitive.
I was so pleased by the experience that I made another reservation for the return trip. Different driver, equally courteous, was on-​time and waiting for me when I exited the terminal.
Overall a great experience. These folks are very professional. I believe I’ve found my new car service for my personal needs.
