C-Nail Studio

Absolutely the worst customer service that I’ve ever seen that I am filing a dispute with my credit card company for damaging my nails further than they already were. An acrylic nail broke from just gently scratching my scalp and I’d just gotten a new coffin style French tip set from them (gel-​manicure by the way) for $ 80!
Other than the fact she did not even make sure the nails of each side were the same shape and length, I had to correct her numerous times for a few nails to fix it. On top of that, she made me bleed multiple times, and I have two cuts near my cuticle on my index finger and ring finger (left and right hand consecutively).
Additionally, when it came to making a nude French tip, she did not even apply a nude nail polish color, and you could see through the acrylic and my actual nail. She just did the French tip, and that too, they were not drawn evenly. I had to correct her to make sure they were the same shape, and size on my nails.
When I left, I realize the corrections she made on the French tip just showed a blatant white line over it. I went back twice after I’d paid to get them fixed. I still left unhappy, and without perfect French tip nails.
I had to go to another salon and pay $ 45 for the same thing and you know what they did? They actually shaped the coffin nails properly, put a nude color prior to the white French tip, and there weren’t air bubbles.
Did I mention there were air bubbles all over the French tip? There were stains in the bubbles from using pencils and using makeup and it looked hideous. Very poor service. Avoid this place like the plague.

I can’t fathom how this place has such high ratings. The salon itself is dingy and musty. I (unfortunately) a habitual nail biter and I came in articulating that I wanted a full acrylic set in a natural French look. It took five minutes of group discussion for the woman working on my nails to understand what I was asking — not an uncommon request whatsoever. She then started grinding on my nails without having sanitized either of our hands or the tool she was using. Within one minute, she had already made the side of my finger bleed — with the unsanitized tool. Lovely. After that, she told me the price would be $ 70. I have never paid any more than $ 50 for a set of French tip acrylics in my life so I contested. They talked amongst themselves, looking up at the price board for about 5 minutes before calling someone on the phone who told me they do not do acrylics at that salon. What baffles me most about this place is that the women working did not even know if they did acrylic manicures or not. It took a random voice over the phone to set everything straight. They should have never begun work on my nails before fully understanding what I was asking for. Needless to say, I left immediately and went to 2B Nails in Westbury where the salon was so clean, the service so lovely, and my nails absolutely beautiful. For $ 45. I will never return or recommend anyone to patronize this shop as they are unprofessional and incompetent.

I don’t know how this place has 5 stars and I’m not one of those overly picky people but I expect to at least pay what is posted on their price list but I’ll get to that. I was in a tight spot since my usual place is not open on Sundays and this happened to be on my way home. I had a job interview the next day and would not have had time to go to my usual place. So I took a shot … and boy did I regret it. I will say that the woman who did my nails the 1^st time (yes, the 1^st time around because they had to be re-​done!) was nice enough but she clearly did not have enough experience doing color gel manicures let alone french color gel. While she was working on my nails I was looking at the price list and noticed they do eyebrow tinting and the price posted said $ 10. I told the woman doing my nails (didn’t get her name — she had bangs) that I was interested.
After my nails were «done» it was time to do my eyebrows. The woman who tinted my eyebrows definitely knew what she was doing and I was satisfied with how my eyebrows came out (which is why I gave them the 1 star). Once they were done I showed my nails to this woman and pointed out the very obvious smudges and rough spot on the surface and the fact that they looked dull and not shiny like freshly painted nails should look. She agreed they needed to be redone and redid them herself. At this point it was close to closing time so I really did appreciate her taking the time to redo them because she didn’t rush too much.
Then it came time to pay, they charged me $ 40 for french color gel (which I knew going in and since they did redo them I was fine with) and $ 20 for the eyebrow tinting, NOT the posted $ 10 price. Now while I was sitting there for all that time, because in the end I spent close to 2 hours there, I did notice signs stating that due to some article in the NY times they were raising their prices. Ok. No problem but if you’re raising your prices take down your old ones. Why should I have to assume that the prices posted are incorrect? Not only incorrect but double? This is really terrible customer service.
When I pointed out their mistake and showed her where it said $ 10 on their price list all she said was «oh, that’s wrong — it’s $ 20» and stared at me blankly. Really? Don’t get me wrong, I realize it’s only $ 10 more but as the customer I should know going in what I’m expected to pay after everything is said and done. I will not be returning to this nail salon and recommend to others, If you want to give them a try, make sure you know up front what everything costs. Super disappointed.

I stopped in here for a gel manicure a few weeks ago after visiting my sister who lives in the area. The gel manicure was $ 25.00. This is definitely a no frills type of place, however, there are a lot of gel nail colors to choose from and the woman who did my nails was also really nice and meticulous from start to finish. I would definitely come back for a manicure in the future if in the area.

C Nail is a great salon. It is quiet and clean. You can relax in a calm setting (no one talking endlessly on a cell phone) They are prompt with appointment time and the work is the best. I followed Christy from her previous location and was delighted to find her here. In the world of a million nail shops, I feel lucky to find her.

My experience here was wonderful!!! The owner is so lovely and her staff is warm and welcoming. My nails were hacked by another place and C-​Nail Studio completely fixed them. They have a wonderful selection of colors that are all brand new. Your nails also come with a massage. While it is a bit pricey, it’s completely worth it.

This place is a little gem. I’m new to the area and after trying a few nail salons which left my acrylics slanted and just a mess, I found this nail salon. They have a great assortment of colors always getting new ones, it’s very clean, up to date technology, good conversation and great service.

C Nail is just fantastic. Christy gives the best manicure I’ve ever had — she pays close attention and really makes sure your nails look perfect. Pedicures are excellent too, and so are the foot massages and backrubs! All the ladies that work in the salon are very friendly. I can’t recommend C Nail enough — as long as I live in the area, I’ll never go to another nail place.

Thanks to the great reviews I went here bc I was in town for a funeral and had some downtime. I had a lady named Sue (I think) who did my pedicure and it was awesome. She was quick and efficient at the boring stuff like cutting cuticles and then took her time on the massage – that’s what we really go for, right? After the massage as my toes were drying under a fan she rubbed my neck and shoulders too. So relaxing. If I’m ever in town again (hopefully under happier circumstances) I would definitely go back. Yay C-​Nail!

I recently had my nails done by Christy for niece’s sweet 16. I am so happy with the results. It was my first time getting an acrylic set. Christy explained the process and my options, based on my day-​to-​day activities. The process took about 90 minutes because she was starting from «scratch,» and it was well worth it. I went with coffin shaped nails with a single gem embellishment. IN LOVE!!! I will definitely return & refer this establishment to family and friends.

The staff at this nail salon are friendly, focused and precise. They have a level of intuition allowing them to «get» the clientele’s needs. I’m pleased with their level of attentiveness and acknowledgement. Overall a really nice experience.

Came in on a whim, and it was a happy surprise to see Christy again! Beautiful place, friendly staff, and Christy did a great job on my gel French fill-​in! Highly recommend!!! Thanks Christy!

Went for the second time today to fix my nails and change the color on my toes… LOVE the turn out. Very clean, friendly, and relaxing environment. They work quick yet they’re tedious with their work. Christi fixed my nails and I love them! I definitely recommend this place and her! I’ve lived in New York for almost 3 years and I’ve found my go to nail salon! So happy :)

Staying in the area for business and brought my wife here for a pedicure. The business was very clean and the staff was professional and courteous. The pricing was reasonable (what the hell do I know for pricing) in that I didn’t wince when they told me the cost (like I do with some of women’s beauty maintenance costs). I would recommend this business with no hesitation.

Wonderful experience. As soon as I walked into the nail salon I realized how well maintained and stylish the location is. I felt very welcomed and the ambiance was soothing. I got a hot stone spa pedicure, it was such a great experience I plan on getting another one in a week. The lady who attended me, May was very genuine and attentive. May made sure I was comfortable relaxed throughout my experience. I definitely recommend this little hidden gem!

As a child I had an illness which caused nail dystrophy.
Being self conscious about it, I’ve always had my nails done by salons most of my life. The nails would not last longer then a week and they felt like they were gonna come off mid week. I eventually gave up for awhile until I met Chris.
Today marked 3 weeks since Chris placed my wraps. I’m absolutely amazed. She is very professional, gentle and knowledgeable! Thank you so much Chris. You’re amazing.

Great experience! Salon is clean, personnel are friendly and very welcoming. Great job on gel nails and manicure. I called last minute (visiting from NJ) they were so accommodating took me in an hour before they closed. Loved this place and all the employees!

Whenever I get my nails done in always looking for something very particular, and Christi gets it right every single time. She is the ONLY nail artist on Long Island who I trust to do my nails perfectly. I don’t even bother trying someone else. The salon itself is also so clean and cute! I got a full new acrylic set, complicated shape, and she was so quick and efficient. Overall extremely positive experience, I highly recommend going. :)

Christy is by far one of the best manicurists I’ve ever been to! She was so sweet, very helpful & extremely talented. I’ve been trying to find a nail tech for the last 2 months of living in the mineola area & my search is finally over! My nails look amazing, my eyebrows look amazing, & I got a great massage while I dried. Christy’s salon is a small little gem & I will most certainly be back :)
