Pine Tree Nails Spa

I received a Groupon for a gel manicure here so I made an appointment for this morning to get that done plus a pedicure. My appointment was for 9:30 and when I got there I was the only one there for at least 25 mins. The guy that did my pedicure was just rushing through it like he had somewhere to go, he barely scrubbed my feet or cleaned my nails. He finished and started painting my toes, I noticed that after the second coat I could still see through the polish so I said something to him about it he then replied that it was because of the polish I picked and just left it how it was. Then it was time for my gel manicure… They tried pretending that they didn’t remember that I was getting gel and not a regular manicure until I pointed it out. There was no soaking of my or anything like that just a little filing and straight to the polish. Just horrible service, my gel started chipping a day later. I will not be returning here for ANY service, Groupon or not.

So I went in 30 minutes early but they say me right away. I was thinking basic mani pedi… I got a lemon honey scrub on my legs!!! Amazing!!! A hot towel!!! Hot stones… don’t really get that but it’s warm and its on my skin… Oh I’m loving this!!!
It’s cold out but my feet feel wonderful!!! The man was nice and very efficient!!! I love it!!! And the coupons are great especially the 50% off French permanent set which makes it 60 $ Totally coming back!

Went with a groupon for a color gel manicure. Was seated as soon as I walked in, love how my nails look, and was done in about a half hour. I will definitely be going back.

Went here with a Groupon to get a color gel manicure (I sill have one more left with the Groupon). I made an appointment for 5:15 and was seen right away, though the pace wasn’t crowded at all. They had a decent selection of OPI gel colors. The man doing my manicure was very meticulous and took my time shaping and painting my nails. I was very impressed with how nice they looked at the end. The only thing that annoyed me was the woman, who I guess is the owner, asked me to open my phone for her (I thought she needed to see the Groupon). She opened my internet browser, went to the Pine Tree website, and downloaded like five coupons to my Photos. I appreciate the coupons, but I thought it was really weird that she took control of my phone like that. Tip: now I know that you can find coupons on the website!

Used to come here when they first opened. Haven’t been here in years. They recently changed the name. Thought I would give them a shot at my pedicure. Apparently they do not understand what I was asking for very well. I asked them to acrylic my two big toes as I’ve had surgery on them 3 times now and from the pressure of my peep toe pumps they crack so every summer I get acrylic put on. The owner said yes yes and hurried me over to a chair. The girl working on me started my pedicure. She was young and maybe inexperienced because she certainly didn’t clean my toenails very well. I stopped her early on to say I asked for you to acrylic my toes. She apparently didn’t know what I was asking so the owner ran over and said we don’t use acrylic here only gel. Then she started to tell me the pink and whites on my nails are toxic and not healthy and I should switch to gel on my nails at $ 120 for a new set! Oh but she has a 50% off coupon! I told her I asked before I say if this was something you could do! She said they could use a silk wrap method, which I don’t know much about. While two other ladies (customers) proceeded to tell me that it’s just as good one who had Tony do it for her before. So I agreed to try it. The pedicurist barely cleaned my feet let alone scrubbed them. Then Tony had to come over and glue silk wraps to my large toe nails then glue, then powder and repeated the process over & over until I guess he thought it was enough. Then another young girl came over to paint my French. When I went to dry the owner gave me a quick shoulder massage. Literally all 4 employees worked on my simple pedicure. Then she charged me $ 5 per big toe nail for the silk wraps & realized she forgot to charge for the French. She’s lucky I paid them at all for this disaster I got! Oh and the 11^th time you go you get 5 or 10 dollars off. I cant remember, but I certainly won’t be back. I paid $ 45 for a pedicure that’s a hack job before tip. If I can attach pictures I will. Based on what my toes look like and how uneven they are along with this method I won’t be back. Customers beware!

Great nail salon, friendly and clean. The color selection is large with new colors coming in weekly. Massage while your nails are being done is a bonus. Hours are good too. I have been coming here since they have opened, never had a complaint.

I use to go to Pine Tree all the time when it first opened. It was great. Very clean, kind workers and good prices and work. I moved to NYC so I haven’t been in awhile but today I went back and had the absolute worst eyebrow wax of my life. I have nice thick eyebrows and I like to keep them that way just cleaned up and shaped. I said to the girl not too thin please and they may need to be trimmed they tend to grow long. She acted like she understood and began her work. It seemed to be taking a very long time and a lot of plucking was being done. I reminded her again that I did not want them thin. When she was finished I looked and had incredibly thin and uneven brows! I was so upset. The owner came in and while very nice she agreed with me that they were uneven and fixed them but I am now stuck with thin brows and and a very bad taste in my mouth. Pine tree might be ok for nails but beware of their waxing. It seems as though they allow people in training to work and you may end up with horrible results. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this salon when I’m in the area. There are too many other alternatives that I’ve had great results at.

I bought a Groupon to check this place out and I cannot even begin to say, ONE OF THE BEST NAIL SALONS IN THE AREA. I was greeted at 6:15pm on a Friday night with warm smile. I got a manicure/​pedicure. The pedicure chair was amazing… very strong and forceful. The pedicure included a foot massage, honey oil, heated towels, oil massage and hot stones.
The manicure was very relaxing as well and nails came out great. After both were finished, I got a shoulder and arm massage as my nails dryed. Unbelievable!
The ladies here also gave me and my roommate a Christmas goody bag filled with jewlery and hair ties. They also included a coupon to use in the furture. The salon was clean, bright, and very welcoming. Everyone was so sweet and pleasant and you leave feeling like your family. Love it and will absolutely will be back again.
