A Rock ‘n’ Rollin’, beer drinkin’ joint to forget your troubles and just have a good time.
Located in a space formerly something called ‘Club Anything,’ The Local caters to a different clientele (I think) than Club Anything. The Local caters to folks like me by drawing us in with good beer and rockin’ tunes.
Wait… Who doesn’t like that? They’re catering to us all!
The Local may not have as many draughts as other places in the city, and it may be a little seedier, but it doesn’t have as many draughts as other places in the city and may be a little seedier.
That’s what makes it cool! Sometimes straightforward is all we need!
We were treated very well during our late Friday visit and the fellow that owns The Local (shoot, I can’t remember his name) was cordial and friendly. He made sure we had a good time.
We will return.
