I’ve tried food here three times including tonight. I ordered a steak torta on my first visit, which I thought was very good. On my second visit, some friends and I ordered their 20 Tacos for $ 20 deal, which is a mixture of pastor, asada, chorizo, chicken, and ground beef tacos, all on corn tortillas, about 4 tacos with each protein, The tacos are solid, but not great. Today I ordered the combo #3, which is two tacos and an enchilada with salad, rice and beans. The rice was mushy and clumpy but had a nice flavor and was moist. The beans were decent and had a slightly harder texture than I expected for refried pinto beans. I ordered chicken for all three items. The chicken was marinated in a flavorful red sauce and the corn tortillas held together nicely. The enchilada was ok. The tortilla seemed dipped in red sauce and then baked, so the sauce dried up. The flavor was fine, but I could barely taste the chicken. If I go back, I’ll stick to the tortas or give a burrito a try. There are other places I’d prefer for Mexican food. There is now a full bar, and they have a stage so perhaps they’ll offer live entertainment.

Great place with very affordable food. A steak tortas will always fill me up with some left behind. I highly recommend for anyone who works nearby and is in search of a cheap and delicious lunch.

I ordered the taco dinner with rice and beans and a tostada to go. The food was amazing. I definitely found my new neighborhood take out spot!!!

This place is still getting it’s bearings but I’m happy someone is occupying the space! There isn’t a bar or alcoholic drinks available(BOO!) but maybe that will one day change. The space is huge. It looks more like a banquet hall for parties not so much a restaurant. Very authentic feel to it. I went in and grabbed some takeout to try the food. It was good and there were three different salsa’s to try. I hope they can do more with it in the future. This place appears to be a secondary location for the owner that has a cake shop in another location on the south side. Oh and you can get 20 tacos for $ 20!!! I’m excited to try them sometime when I have a party and need to bring something to share. Hopefully I can update my review when they’re more established and tack on another star. They also serve breakfast.
