Best, most honest and most attentive shop you will find anywhere. Period. Extremely knowledgeable on the vehicles they cater to (I drive a BMW 325i). Their prices are HONEST and FAIR. Randy had by far, in over a year, impressed me beyond a point at which any other professional service provider can impress me.

Randy is awesome! In the middle of moving, the fuel pump on my 2000 Tahoe went out. I had my vehicle towed to Randy’s shop, and he was able to accommodate me within a day. He is friendly, honest, thorough, and has very reasonable prices. If I was still living in Milwaukee I would not hesitate to make Randy my go-​to mechanic for everything. HIGHLY recommended!

Brought my car in today after a chain auto parts store could not properly diagnose a battery/​power issue I was having with my 2011 Mazda 3. State of the Art found that the positive battery connection was not tight/​would not remain tight and simply charged me for diagnosis and replacing the cable connector. They could have charged me for anything they wanted since I had no idea what the problem was. Their honest and ethical handling of this gained them a customer for any future repair needs I may need. I could not be more satisfied. Thanks!

I came in concerned about a noise my car was making. They recommended a tire rotation. They rotated my tires but did not test drive. When I got onto the highway, my car was shaking violently, and the original noise concern was not gone. They offered to undo the tire rotation to fix the shake they caused, but did not offer a refund. My car left this shop in worse shape than it arrived, and I was $ 20 poorer. I will not go back.

First off, I’ll fully admit I know nothing about cars. I blew up an engine in high school because I was too busy buying JNCOs to bother putting oil in it. That being said, I need to have a mechanic I can trust. Randy at state of the art is my guy! I’ve taken both our ’03 Mazda 6 and ’99 Toyota 4Runner in for a variety of reasons… everything from a new clutch to fixing a rusted tirewell thingy that was causing rubbing on the tires.
When you go to State of the Art you feel like family. They explain everything they suggest doing. I happened to have both vehicles come down with issues at the same time as I had some other large bills to deal with and they were very understanding with identifying what I needed to do to make my vehicles safe and what could be pushed out for future repairs.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone looking for an import repair shop. They also offer a very good AAA discount.
